The Space:
Prepare to be amazed by the thoughtfully curated space we designed just for you. Collaborating with a local designer, we completely remodeled each unit to exude coastal elegance, from the beautiful flooring and fully equipped kitchen to the pristine bathrooms, modern AC system, and elevated seaside-inspired interior design. Sink into the deep-seated couch in the living room, perfect for cozying up while indulging in your favorite shows on the 65" Samsung Smart TV, and relax.

Guest Access:
Everything seen in the photos! This rental is the downstairs unit of a two unit duplex. Please inquire if you are interested in renting both units together!

Entry to this property is controlled by a smart lock. The morning of check-in, you will be sent an email with the smart lock code and any other relevant details for entry.

The home comes with two-tandem parking spots in the driveway, and there is free street parking throughout the neighborhood. Walk, ride bikes, electric scooters, or drive to explore La Jolla and San Diego's other neighborhoods.

When you complete your reservation you’ll receive our check-in form which is required to be filled out and signed prior to check-in, or else your entrance code will not be generated. For your safety and ours, the check-in form requires you to upload an ID, take a selfie and sign the house rules. If you do not agree with the house rules, you are welcome to cancel your reservation within 24 hours of booking without penalty.

Please be aware: there are exterior security cameras at this property and this is a downstairs unit, so there is a possibility of noise from the upstairs renter.

While our first priority is ensuring our guests enjoy their stay, we have an equally important commitment to the safety and well-being of our neighbors and community. Please review all the house rules listed below prior to confirming your reservation.

While we hope to never encounter this scenario, by confirming your reservation, you are acknowledging that your reservation can be terminated mid-stay for violating any of these rules. If everything is agreeable, great! We can’t wait to welcome you and do everything possible to make sure you have an amazing stay.

DURATION
Check-in is 4:00PM or later unless other arrangements have been approved by the host.

Access instructions will be sent through the booking platform the morning of your stay only after the guest agreement has been signed.

Check-out is at 11:00AM unless previously discussed. Guests shall vacate the unit at the end of its rental period.

If the housekeepers arrive on time at 11:00 AM and the unit is not vacated, guests will be charged $100 every fifteen minutes past 11:00 AM (pass through) for their delay. Guests who overstay their reservation prevent us from offering reservations with same day transitions and creates operational challenges for our housekeeping staff and for guests arriving the same day. We are equally committed to making sure the house is ready for your arrival as well.

GUEST
You must be at least 25 years old to reserve our property.

Guests who wish to make a reservation must have a completed profile on the booking platform, including an email, phone number, and a clear photograph of your face (so we know the person booking is in fact the person checking in).

NOISE
This home is located in a quiet neighborhood, and we participate in a community noise reduction program. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us be good neighbors!

We have a zero-tolerance policy for noise complaints, parties or gatherings of any sort. Please respect our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. QUIET HOURS are daily from 10:00PM-8:00AM.

ADDITIONAL GUESTS, EVENTS, and GATHERINGS
We ask that all guests let us know in advance if they plan on having any visitors during their stay. You may not have additional guests or visitors unless previously authorized by the host.

Unauthorized additional guests/visitors will result in an unauthorized visitor fee of $250 per person.

If using party decorations, please do not use tape that will damage the paint on the walls, confetti or glitter in the home or backyard. If any tape, decorations, glitter, or confetti are found on the property following your stay, you will be charged an additional cleaning fee.

PETS
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets at the property.
Guests who bring unauthorized pets onto the property will be responsible for a fine of $250 per pet, and any additional cleaning charges based on the cleanliness of the home at time of check-out.

Please note that even if there’s a no-pets policy, there may have been service animals in the past. We cannot guarantee that the property is completely free of pet allergens.

DAMAGE
Guests are required to report all damage that occurred during their stay to the host via the booking platform, prior to check-out. We understand accidents happen, but guests will be financially responsible for any damage that occurs during their reservation that is not covered by the damage waiver.

Please do not remove any furnishings, equipment, or items from the unit, including any linen, dishes, or any other items from the unit. Guests will be liable for any additional costs, charges or expenses resulting from any damage, lost or stolen items, or excessive check-out cleaning.

SMOKING
Our property is 100% smoke free; including both private and communal areas, the unit itself, and any other public areas within the building and the communal property regardless of whether inside or out. You must be totally off of the premises and on public property to smoke. If you're a regular smoker and feel you'll have a hard time following this rule we kindly suggest you look into another property.

Evidence of smoking will result in a fine up to $2,000 for smoke remediation.

ILLEGAL ACTIVITY
No illegal activity or illicit substances are permitted on the premises: doing either will result in immediate eviction from the property, and may also result in law enforcement involvement.

SECURITY
This property implements video surveillance in outdoor public areas to ensure the safety and security of all guests.

FILMING & PHOTO SHOOTS
If you’re interested in utilizing the space for film, television, music video or photo/film shoots of any kind, please contact the host to discuss details, approvals, pricing, etc.

INSURANCE
Having operated throughout the pandemic, we recommend the booking platform's travel insurance for your reservation or booking with a credit card that has such a policy. In the event you need to cancel or alter your stay, the cancellation policy will be adhered to. Thank you for understanding.

As advertised and very comfortable, clean, bright, and quiet. The beach chairs and umbrella were great amenities. Check in and out were simple. The beds were very comfortable. Air conditioners were necessary during our stay and worked quietly and well. The kitchen was well equipped. Proximity to the ocean is wonderful.

Beautiful location and property

We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful unit a short walk from the beach in La Jolla. It’s centrally located so there’s easy access to the main strip here and to downtown or parts north.

The Perfect VRBO Apartment?

The thing that kept going through my mind as I saw the apartment was that this is how I would want my rental to look like if I had one. There were a few times where I would think it would be really great if they had this and then I would look and there it would be. You want negatives? The toilet paper dispenser is behind you in the master bathroom so you have to reach back to get it. There you go. We went with a group of four for a last minute (very quick) anniversary trip. Very happy to find this listing. Apartment was extremely clean and updated. We didn't notice anything missing that we needed. Three beach chairs and three beach towels were provided. A small umbrella was also there, which we didn't use. Communication was A+ (with Nathan). He sent us a long email with a bunch of recommendations. Day of communication was provided for getting into the unit. Oh, I thought of another negative! Trying to get the two keys back into the lockbox was a struggle. Believe me, I'm really trying to think of anything negative. Location was perfect. About a block from the beach and a few blocks from some restaurants, a small store and a liquor store. We had a car so we decided on Pacific Beach (10 minutes away if that) instead of the one close. It's beautiful but limited space and only during low tide. Also a rougher surf. Great for laying out but if you want to go in the water I would try a different beach location. We did walk down for the sunset both nights we were there and it was amazing. Highly recommend this rental. There was a sister unit above this one if you need more space.

Wonderful location, wonderful condo

Blocks from the ocean, we lucked out with this great condo while we visited La Jolla. No problem with parking, and cute neighborhood restaurants; easy access to La Jolla and San Diego from this location. And walking to Windansea Beach was a big bonus!!

Amazing property and location

If you’re looking for a good family oriented area, this is it. We were a short walk to many restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, and of course to the beach. The response time of the owner was fabulous and they were so nice. Even the cleaning lady was super nice! Will definitely come back to stay here. WONDERFUL experience
