Nice studio, close to slopes
The studio was nicely furnished. Kitchen equipment was sparse and small under the counter refrigerator needed defrosting. Vacasa managed the property and was unresponsive to requests to have refrigerator defrosted.

Okay at best
Location is great. Room could have been cleaner. There were all kinds of things in the floor where the couch folded out and there was some broken glass behind the night stand. We never could get access to the parking garage. The parking company told us that the code we were given by the management company was no good, and the management company couldn't do anything to resolve our issue for our entire star. We will not book anything through them again.

Communication with Vacasa was slow and difficult
I have to wonder if the owners of this condo have ever been there. Very disappointing stay.

This is owned by a big corporate entity and they will give you zero assistance attention. If you have an emergency or issue you will be completely abandoned and on your own. They are JUST NOW trying to message me two weeks after I tried calling and messaging them with emergencies that I experienced starting my vacation. I’m actually writing this review so that they stop messaging me. They do not respond to text, email, messaging. The room is very misleading and extremely small. There was filth in the room you just have to look behind and underneath anything to find it. The parking situation is very unclear and you will end up paying Benjamin each night for parking unless you go above and beyond to resolve the parking situation yourself. Do not book this place, it may look promising because it’s cheap but you will have a diminished vacation because of this organization and they do not care about you.

Vacasa Rental Scam Artist
Horrible experience. The day we checked in they didn’t give us the codes for the hot tub and amenities. I spoke to ten different people and they all said they would call back but nothing. By the third day of not having it or anyone coming over to help I tracked down the manager in Winter Park for the property. He never figured the code out or even came and helped me. We never were able to use the hot tub. Also the garage code we received the third day but it never worked. My girlfriend got locked out of our place at night while I was in Denver. She located Security and she asked if he would let her in. He said i’m not sure if I can because the last security guard was charged with Rape. I’m dead serious. I thought security was there yo make you feel safe. After sending thirty emails over which are all documented they said they would refund our money. Well I followed up and said how’s the refund going. They said they were going to refund only $200 but we had broke some items. I immediately said send me pictures because that was a straight up lie. I read the review from the last customer and it was all the same complaints I had. Do not stay here. I am about to destroy them in court.

When we arrived at check in housekeeping had never come to the unit. We called the Vacasa number and spoke to someone at a call center who said they would reach out to someone local and let them know. We were not given a local contact number just told to wait. A while later I got a text saying our check in had been moved back and hour and a half and they were sending someone to clean. We went to dinner and came back at the specified time and no one had come. The room was still a mess from the previous renter. I reached back out via the text they sent me and it was clearly to another call center bc they asked for my info all over again. They said they would contact someone local again. We were so frustrated. Hours after check in a housekeeper arrived and told us to leave so they could clean. They were in and out in 10 min. The unit was made up when they left but not clean. Not vacuumed, shower wasn’t cleaned and the surfaces were not wiped down. Over the course of that evening I tried multiple times to get a straight answer if someone was coming or not. The text communication would reset every 10-15 min and I would get someone new asking for my information again!!! We sat in the dirty unit trying to decide if someone was coming or not. Needless to say working with this company if you have an issue is a mess. The unit itself was fine, had stained furniture and linens and the fan blades were falling off the fan and need to be tightened. We also found take out trash under the sink with a November receipt on it, as well as bottles behind the night stands. We have stayed in several units in Winter Park but this is our first time renting from Vacasa. Needless to say we will not be doing it again.

Perfect for last minute ski getaway
We loved the Proximity to slopes and village. Being able to walk and not deal with shuttles, parking or lugging gear was why we booked here. Unit was clean and had everything we needed for 5 day stay. It was tight for our family of 4 but we made it work as we were gone all day it didn’t matter much.
Beds were comfortable. Our kids didn’t mind the sleeper sofa but an adult might feel differently. We brought our own pillows but the ones provided were also good. We brought towels for hot tub. Unit has paper towels, toilet paper and travel size toiletries available. We did need trash bags and coffee filters but had brought them. Helpful that the microwave was a convection oven as well so it was perfect for reheating pizza or cooking small meal if needed. If planning to cook, there is only a small pot and one large sauté pan. If wanting to do something like spaghetti, a large pot would be needed.
Indoor parking was huge during peak week with tons of snow. Parking was a bit confusing when arriving but once we got it figured out, was easy. The notes needed for access to parking, hot tubs, entry etc didn’t come until we checked out but quick text with Vacasa app helped remedy those needs as they arose. Just would’ve been nice to receive those notes prior to arrival. Only thing we received via app was door and internet codes. Had to text to get access for for parking garage and know that you just scan in AND out of garage otherwise you get locked out. (Got back in via help desk on parking scanner).
