Modern Two Bedroom Condo - Near Boston

Welcome to this sunny first-floor condo, which is perfect for extended stays. The home is fully equipped with everything you will need to enjoy your long-term stay, featuring two large rooms and one hotel-style bathroom, a large living room, Kitchen with cooking utensils, and in-unit laundry. Walking-friendly neighborhood with plenty to do in the center of town.

Winchester Hospital, Tuft University, Harvard University, MIT, and Seaport Boston are also close to this property.

The two rooms with queen beds have 45 inches smart TV and a plush mattress. The smaller room is cozy and can accommodate two adults comfortably.

Guests have access to on-site parking and the whole unit during their stay with us.

The neighborhood is very safe and a short walk to the center of town.

The town is only a 5 min walk, and they have metered parking if you drive into town.

We are 15 min to Boston Downtown, and 7 min to Burlington tech plaza, Stoneham Zoo, and Stoneham Reservor
Rental Property Terms and Conditions

1.Smoking and Vaping: Smoking and/or vaping are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property, inside or outside. If smoke is detected, lingering odors remain, or any damage occurs due to smoking, a $500 fine will be assessed. Additionally, any damaged items that cannot be cleaned will need to be replaced at the guest's expense.

2.Grill Usage: The grill must always remain in an open area, at least five feet away from any structure.

3.Overnight Guests: Only those in the guest party are permitted to stay overnight at the property. Any additional people on the property are the responsibility of the guest.

4.Parties and Events: Parties or events are not allowed unless explicit permission is granted by the host in advance. If a party or event is found to be occurring without approval, the guest will be asked to leave immediately without any refund.

5. No Eating or Drinking in Beds: Please refrain from eating or drinking in or on the beds.

6.Liability: The property is privately owned. The hosts are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the property. The hosts are also not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings.

7.Property Condition: Guests are required to maintain the property and furnishings in good condition.

8.Appliance Use: Only use appliances for their intended purposes.

9.Pets - Policy Violation: No pets are allowed unless approved. If this policy is violated, the guest will be responsible for all cleaning and replacement costs for beds and linens.

10.Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. Linens and bath towels are included, but daily maid service is not. If excessive cleaning is required after checkout due to failure to follow procedures, additional cleaning fees will apply.

11.Candles: The use of candles with real flames is prohibited. However, battery-powered flameless candles are allowed.
Decorations: Decorative items that are difficult to clean, such as glitter or paint, are not allowed.

12.Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please respect the neighbors during these hours.

13.Age Requirement: Guests must be at least 18 years old to book a reservation.

14.Cameras and Electronic Devices: There are Ring cameras at the front and side doors. These should not be tampered with, covered, or disconnected. All electronic devices should remain plugged in. Tampering with these devices may result in immediate removal without a refund.

15.Fireworks: The use of fireworks is strictly prohibited. Violation of this rule will result in immediate removal from the property without a refund.

16.Weather Conditions: No refunds will be issued for storms or bad weather conditions.

17.Property Damage: Upon arrival, any perceived damage to the property must be reported within four hours using both photographic and written evidence through the reservation booking app.
Kitchen Cleanliness: All guests are required to clean the kitchen and any kitchen utensils after use.

18.Trash Removal: Guests must remove trash from the kitchen bins and dispose of it in the outside bins of the property.

19.Personal Space Cleanliness: Guests should keep their personal spaces clean. If you use extra towels, please wash them and return them to their original place before leaving.

20.Repairs: Do not attempt to repair anything in the unit. Always contact maintenance for any issues.

21. ID Verification: The guest must provide ID verification for all guests on site if requested by the host.

Short stay

We were recently in Stoneham for a short weekend trip to tour colleges. The rental was perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood, near restaurants and stores within 30 mins from where we were scheduled to spend the day. Great stay overall.

Perfect Setting

The condo is in a perfect spot. We were able to take day trips to Salem, Gloucester, Boston and New Hampshire and Maine. Very quiet neighborhood and very nice unit. The place could use a few more pictures or something to help the accustics in the living room. It's just very empty, not very homey. I'd also like to see a railing on the front entrance. The steps are kind of steep, and I worried about falling. However, overall it was a great place. I'd highly recommend this place.

Clean & quiet!

We enjoyed a comfortable stay at this Vrbo, so close to the Middlesex Fells and with easy access to Boston. The beds, couches and TVs were all great, the natural lighting was welcome, and an issue with check-in was quickly resolved.

Disappointing

Property well maintained and spacious inside. Bathroom was the highlight. Kitchen well equipped however no kitchen cloths / tea towels provided. Very minimal cleaning equipment . Rear of house disappointing as unkept and not suitable for sitting out. "Access to Private Beach" completely misleading on original property profile which we actually booked from as we were looking forward to a few days sunbathing. We did not have a car and were therefore relying entirely on public transport which was unsuitable for our needs and expectations . Nice quite, clean area.

5 stars with caveats

I will say look carefully at the pictures, they are accurate to a fault. This is a really nice, relatively newly renovated apartment with phenomenal high end kitchen and laundry appliances, excellent single bathroom, great off street parking for two cars, and the bare essentials for cooking as one would expect. Newish flat screens in both bedrooms and the living room, but no cable, which is fine; every streaming option is available. Now, as to my comment about the pictures, please note that the bedrooms and living room are, to put it mildly, austere. In the bedrooms, there is a bed. Period, unless you count the one square foot side tables. The closets are great, but a drawer or two and a place to put luggage would be nice, but they aren't shown, so no foul. Also, the house is a conversion from some years ago, so don't expect outlets where you'd like them. Communication was easy and timely, the games a whimsical touch. Look for a spare garbage bag in the kitchen under the existing one.

Review after a one month stay

This review is based on a one month stay of my wife and me. We were in town babysitting our grandson. Please keep that perspective in mind when reading this. Host: very responsive; we requested hooks in the entryway and bathroom (there was no place to hang coats or towels when we arrived). They installed two towel hooks in the bathroom within 48 hours. Host was responsive to all questions prior to and during the visit. Apartment: - Very clean; all “hardwood” laminate floors, so no carpets to deal with - Furnishings are VERY sparse. In the TV / Living Room, there is a (not very comfortable) couch and chaise, an ottoman, a chair and a coffee table. In the kitchen, there is a 30” square table and 3 plastic chairs. In each bedroom there are two 24” square endtables. - Kitchen o Keurig o Standard appliances o Bare minimum of cooking equipment and utensils (4 forks, 4 knives, etc) o There were no condiments, such as salt/pepper - Washer/Dryer o Excellent – worked well. - Bedrooms: o Initially, there were no dressers or anywhere to put clothing. However, the host did put in a small 2-drawer dresser in each bedroom. One of the bedrooms has a small, shallow closet that does not accommodate full size hangers. The other bedroom has a deeper closet. o Mattresses are new, hard IKEA mattresses. They were hard enough that we ordered a mattress pad for the bed we were sleeping in o Outlets: in one of the bedrooms, there were no outlets near the head of the bed. I ordered a power str
