Exceeded our expectations! Location of parking, pool and elevator to the condo made it super convenient. We also loved being across from outlet shopping and grocery. Steps away from the beach was a huge plus! We will be back!

Beautiful stay

Beautiful place to stay for sure. Condo was very nice and had a beautiful view. There are a lot of rules with fees attached so this is not the place for you if you have small children. There are some things that need updating that do not affect your stay such as some paint in the bathroom, floors in the bathroom, and several outlets that appear to be almost falling out of the wall. The bed is perfect if you like a super super soft mattress. Location to the beach and other attractions is great! Love that it is a gated property also. The host is very prompt with responses to questions or concerns that we had. With all of that being said, with what you pay in cleaning fees and all the rules attached that will result in fees I would have expected it to be much cleaner and not have seen dust/dirt on the baseboards or the floor needing to be swept when we very first got there. Also would not have expected to have seen black marker on the sheets/mattress cover explaining what and how to wash. Everything you need to cook, clean and eat with will be found in the condo so that was a huge plus also. Overall it was a very nice stay my wife and myself are very happy the owners opened their home to us for our vacation. Hopefully the next family enjoys themselves as much as we did during our stay.

Great condo and host

This unit was exactly as described. It had everything I needed for my stay and more. Clean and comfortable. The check-in and check-out process was flawless. It was "off season" so the host allowed an early check-in and check-out. The host was very accessible and answered emails/texts all most immediately. The resort was quiet and only had a few guests; mainly "snow birds". They were all nice as well. Some construction was going on but still it was quiet. The pool was heated so I was able to enjoy it my whole stay. The grounds were well maintained. I will definitely be back to this unit and/or resort.

Amazing long weekend spot

We have stayed at edgewater for over 20 years since I was a little girl. This year we had to cancel our long week trip in early September due to my mom having emergency surgery. Once she was better, we wanted to take our daughter just for a short beach trip and we were so excited to find this listing on Vrbo. The condo was very well taken care of and communication with the owners was very easy. Our daughter is 3 months old and we had an early morning flight and they allowed us an early check in so we would be able to get her down for a nap. They even called us early when we got there and said we could get in even earlier which was amazing. Highly recommend this condo and host!

Nice on beach

Overall nice place . Nice side view of ocean . Property is well maintained . 2 really nice pools . Bad Right next to stairs ,elevator and garbage chute . Balcony sliding doors are very heavy and noisy ( probably hurricane approved) . When your neighbor likes to smoke in the middle of the night it might wake you. chute. Sliding doors are heavy and very loud.

Outstanding!

We love this place. This is our 2nd year staying in this unit, and we’ll be back for #3 in 2025. Everything is convenient & accessible. My favorite part? The pool! When you can’t swim in the Gulf you always have the pool as a back-up. The host was easy to communicate with. She would usually respond wn 15 mins to my texts. I highly recommend this place.

This was our fourth year in the Miramar/Destin area and this was the best stay we’ve ever had. The condo was comfortable and amazingly clean. The property was also clean and well kept. The property owner was very helpful and communicative. We can’t wait to go back next year!

We are two old fraternity brothers who decided with our wives to buy a beach property at Edgewater after becoming empty nesters! Steve and Arian Orlando are from Frisco, TX, and Bryan and Cathy Booth are from Mount Pleasant, SC. We all love the beach and love Edgewater. We hope you enjoy your stay!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

Before purchasing our own unit, we had come to Edgewater with our families several times. We always said one day we would buy one if we could. We purchased this one from William and Donna Arkell of Imagine Destin, LLC, who quickly became friends. We also own unit #1304 a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit in Edgewater. It is an option if you are looking to rent both units for larger families. We Love sitting on the balcony and drinking our coffee in the mornings - the view is amazing! It is right on the sand, is well maintained, and has a true resort feel. The greenspace and the playground are perfect places for children to play, and the pool is area is large and beautiful. Two pools, hot tub, kiddie pool and just a few short steps from the beach. We also love the easy access to the beach, pool, shopping, & dining. Everything is easily accessible. We hope to share our home with not only previous guests, but also with new guests who will come stay with us again and again.

The first time we saw this rental unit, we felt at home. Like stated before, the east facing balcony makes morning coffee a pleasant way to start the day. It also provides shade from the afternoon sun. We spend most of our time either on the balcony or on the beach! We also love that you can also enjoy the amazing view from the Master Bedroom as well. The unit is quiet, peaceful and relaxing...the perfect place for a getaway.
