Perfect Stay

The property was perfect! We have stayed n the Ilikai another times and this property was one of the best! Spring Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home was clean and well equipped. Everything you could need in a kitchen, if you opt to cook. Loved the beach chairs, they came in handy! The lanai was perfect, stunning sunsets and rainbows galore to view! Setting directly centered in front of this unit. Lanai furniture was perfect, was great to enjoy takeout on, along with morning coffee. Bed was comfortable, plenty of space for the two of us. Bathroom was well stocked. Would rent again, and recommend as well!

Good location but bathroom needs updated desperately.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the location and general area of the hotel are great, I wish I could say the same for the room. While the main living area is decent enough; comfortable bed, decent television, nice kitchen with plenty of amenities, the bathroom is a nightmare. I’ve stayed in $50/night motels with cleaner and nicer bathrooms than this place that cost $2000 for a week. The bathroom walls were dirty, with stains, the vinyl flooring was bubbling, loose and coming apart, the shower was apparently painted with a landlord special style paint job at some point and all of the paint was peeling off from the tiles and hanging loose. The tiles on the shower floor were also peeling paint. The floor at the base of the toilet was stained yellow (disgusting), and the wall near the toilet was missing paint and crumbling, clearly from water damage.Not a bathroom you want to be in, and not a shower you feel clean after being in. There was also a huge dead cockroach in the entry closet. The bathroom alone would cause me to not return to this location again.

The kitchen was well stocked and everything we needed. The bathroom had all that we needed. We loved having chairs and a cooler to take to the beach. They were great and easy to carry. My husband LOVED the huge TV! AND we can't say enough about the WONDERFUl customer service that Alii Beach Rentals gives you. From the moment you reserved your room or condo...they are there for you. They contact you all along the way! They answer all your questions and are a joy to work with. We have never been disappointed anytime we have rented from them. This was our 6th time!

Review

The apartment was all that we could have hoped for. Clean, great view and a perfect location. When we checked in on a Sunday, the code did not work and security had to let us in. After several experiments we were able to get the code to work. After the first day the code worked fine. Communication with the “office” was a problem. Because we arrived on a Sunday, the office was closed and it was impossible to reach anyone regarding the code issue. Also, later in the week we were unable to get the cook top to turn off. I called but never received a response. That cook top issue was resolved after we figured out what the problem was.

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this room twice now and although it’s in the perfect location, was very clean, and well appointed, it’s time that Ali’i Beach rentals reviewed their fee structure and policies for late checkouts. Given that travel and tourism has not returned to pre-pandemic levels it would’ve been appreciated to provide late checkout for a reasonable fee similar to other rental companies. Q

The only thing that would make it better would be if they would adjust the description to accurately reflect what's offered at the property. I.E. our exit instructions asked us to fill the dishwasher..when our unit didn't have a dishwasher..take the time to customize per unit (we're paying enough :) )

Fabulous accommodations, facilities were challenging

This suite was fantastic! Right floor level to have a great view … not too high and not too low. Very clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was with the elevators. Apparently, there was an issue in the electrical room which caused inconsistent elevator offline throughout the vacation. Emergency generators helped but often we had to hike up/down to the 9th floor, which was a problem if we had groceries or luggage. I can only imagine the effect on those on higher levels. Hope they fix those soon.

Reviewer Comments: Our total experience was excellent except for one glitch.We needed wifi to communicate with everyone in our daughters wedding and arrived Saturday with no wifi or tv.On Tuesday it was corrected by a great service tech from the it turned out the problem was not with the hotel but the owner of the beautiful condo forgot to pay the internet and tv service. Compliments to the hotel for excellent service.

Really clean unit in an hotel / appartments tower

To enter the property, you have access to an app that gives you a pin code for the door lock. When entering the room (it is comparable to an hotel room + a tiny but convenient kitchen), you walk in the perfect tiny kitchenette to your right or in the coat closet and bathroom (that desparatly needs an update) to your left. Then you have the bedroom/dining space/living room area all in 1. Its a bit small, and add says King bed but its a queen bed with a king matress-cover foam on it. We were not very impressed about it. The view tho.... The view is completely amazing. The balcony had a bistro table with chairs so you can enjoy a meal outside. It is really beautiful. There is a small restaurant in the lobby that sell the best spicy Ahi I've ever had on wonton chips. Its sooo good we had it like 3 times during our stay. There's also a cute, locally owned cafe downstairs that have smoothie bowls. Really good! And convenient: an ice cream parlor. The best I can give you an advice for your stay is to GO TO THE GROCERY STORES IN THE ALA MOANA OUTLETS or GO EAT TO THEIR FOOD COURT! Unless nice restaurants are going to ruin you, dissapoint you and leave you still hungry after your meal. Really not like other United States we've traveled to. Also, rent a car and let the adventure take you. Turtle beach, Banzai Beach, Sunset Beach, Dole pineapple plantations and Macadamia nuts plantations are MUST SEE. Don't fall for tourist traps all over Waikiki beach! You dont need to pay $100 to go snorkle. Leave from the beach swim in the same direction than de boats and dive. You'll see all tropical fished and sea turtles as well! Enjoy =)

Great place to stay!

We had a wonderful experience with this rental! Condo is just how it looks in pics. Check in and check out was easy. Condo was very clean, well stocked and building was well maintained. Large, comfortable king size bed. Heated pools were enjoyed every day (but do wish they were open past 7:30 pm.) The view from the balcony was excellent for viewing sunsets. The location is very convenient- can walk to Waikiki, beaches, parks, lots of restaurants within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend 😊
