The Bungalow is the downstairs studio. It is private and separate from the upstairs. Two cats live on premise. Gate must be latched at ALL times.

"The Bungalow" in Nags Head

Everything about staying at The Bungalow felt like a vacation but had all the comforts of home. Kim has put such thought and time into all that she has created for those of us who choose to visit Nags Head and select her lovely property to stay at. She has thought of everything. There are 3 different types of pillows to choose from, everything you need for the beach, a lovely garden, and beautiful places to sit and just be. It's nice to know that Kim is there if you need any help with anything. She is so helpful with any questions you may have about your stay--from dining out, to day trips, to things you may find on the beach. The Bungalow is in a wonderful location--close to the ocean and offers a beautiful place to sit and watch the sunset over the Roanoke Sound. I hope to be able to visit again and would consider no other place to stay. I highly recommend this property and this host.

Love this cosy bungalow

Kim is a wonderful host and her bungalow is wonderful. Kim provides for all kinds of beach/going needs. We relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would stay at the bungalow anytime!

Nice apartment in a relaxing location

Nice apartment, plenty of room for our stay. Host was personable and made us feel welcome. Location in quiet neighborhood helped make this a relaxing vacation. Apartment furnished with some extras such as a dehumidifier and water dispenser. Please do watch out for the small step up into the bathroom.

Kim's place was spotless. She offered a comprehensive book of things to do/eat in the Outer Banks, as well as a map. The grounds and gardens around her house were amazing. You really do not need to bring anything with you. She has beach gear, bikes, sun tanning lotions, beach bags. She was friendly and helpful

Charming Little Bungalow

This bungalow was perfect for our 3-night stay in April. Host Kim offers a clean and comfortable room with queen bed, comfy couch and well-stocked kitchenette. Included are thoughtful touches to orient visitors to the area, set them up for a day's outing and generally make guests feel at home. And the location can't be beat, with easy access to points north, south and Roanoke Island. Highly recommend.

Beary nice place!

Owner was great and greeted us upon arrival. The bungalow was perfect for what we need during our stay. Loved the fire pit over looking the sound. The sounds of the wind chimes was soothing. We were able to check out lots OBX had to offer but need more. Look forward to coming back!

The Best

The owner left no stone unturned. The cottage was well stocked, clean, well taken care of and easily accessible. One of the best we have stayed at. All the things you need for the beach were provided. Host had lots of info for places to eat and visit. You will be well pleased with the accommodations.

Everything about our stay at the Bungalow was perfectly picturesque. From the rosemary scented gate entry to the neatly situated fire pit out back this VRBO was all around well done. CLEAN, well stocked, friendly host, and great location. If you’re looking for a retreat look no further !

Look No Further!!!!!

This property is loaded with every amenity you could possibly ask for. Kim has put her heart and soul into this space and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Even down to a birthday cake and decorations in the space cause he caught wind it was my birthday. Everything was clean organized and very comfy. Thank you Kim for a great time at the beach!!

Look no Further!

My husband & I decided to get for the weekend last minute. This was the perfect place to stay! We had never been to the outer banks and didn’t know the area at all. Host, Kim, helped us with lots of recommendations and even a local festival that was going on the day we arrived! If you don’t want to pack your beach stuff no worries this place has you covered! We plan on returning here again & again. Comfy bed & couch, bright windows and everything you need for your stay. You won’t be disappointed in this bungalow.

I am an Outer Banks local. My family owned and operated several restaurants, drive-ins, and a motel. I guess I gained a passion for hospitality at a young age! I enjoy beachcombing, fishing, and walking the neighborhood. Being a host allows me to share my love for the beautiful Outer Banks and the place I’m lucky enough to call home!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

Having grown up in Nags Head I am very partial to this town. I find the beaches to be wider and prettier. Also, Nags Head has tried to maintain the look and feel of what we call Old Nags Head Style. This refers to houses with cedar shakes, winding porches/decks, and shutters. I also find the town to be a little less congested and less commercialized. Old Nags Head Cove is in the heart of Nags Head. It is located along the water, close to Jockey’s Ridge State Park, and close to the beach. Our neighbors and the best! I serve as a board member for our HOA.

The Bungalow is centrally located, nicely furnished, extremely clean, and packed with extra amenities! If you want to go to the beach, or over to Manteo for lunch or shopping, maybe head south to Hatteras to check out the lighthouses, or go north to check out the other towns this is a GREAT starting point to venture out. Or, just stay put. The Bungalow is a very relaxing place. Trees, birds, sunshine, patio, back yard, hammock, bike riding - or just chillin!
