There is no better location in the Baytowne Wharf at The Resort! Escape to paradise in our three bedroom, three bathroom condo with an amazing balcony that overlooks the heart of the Baytowne Wharf. Observation Point South is perhaps the Resort's best kept secret! You will enjoy watching entertainment on the bandstand from your own balcony. The sparkling blue lagoon swimming pool and hot tub is a few steps away, or you can take the complimentary tram to the Resort's sugar white beach! There is also an outdoor fireplace near the swimming pool for late night relaxation.

The vibrant colors of the sea are reflected in the relaxing décor of our beautifully furnished fourth level vacation home. There is a comfortable family room with plenty of cushy seating and a flat screen television for the family. Step out onto our balcony and enjoy an awesome direct view of the Baytowne Wharf excitement!

Our kitchen, with granite countertops is fully stocked with everything you will need to serve delicious meals for your family and friends. Our master bedroom suite features a king bed, a spacious closet, and a master bathroom with soaking tub and separate shower. The second bedroom features a queen bed and is conveniently located across the hallway from a full guest bathroom. The third bedroom suite offers two queen beds, a mini-kitchen, and a full bathroom. For your convenience, our vacation home offers a washer and dryer, garage parking and elevator entrance.

The Baytowne Wharf is a delight! Walk to world class restaurants, boutique shopping, and a variety of family-friendly activities such as a zip line, bungee-trampoline jumping, evening entertainment, a carousel, rock climbing wall, a kids playground area and remote controlled boats. There are often 'movies on the lawn', art displays, festivals, and special events held at Baytowne Wharf which is the heartbeat of the Resort. Fireworks are a weekly treat during summer time.

The beach is one of the most beautiful in the world. Resort guests can access the beach on the boardwalk next to the Beach House restaurant. There is miniature golf in the Resort, and adults can enjoy golf on several different courses. Relax and enjoy yourself at our condo with convenience to the beach and the Baytowne Wharf – all in one location at 470-472 Observation Point South!

CANCELLATION: Reservations that are cancelled more than 30 days prior to the arrival date receive a full refund. Reservations cancelled 14-29 days prior to arrival receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid. Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival receive no refund unless the guest purchased travel insurance. Guests are required to complete a rental agreement by electronic signature within 3 days of booking.

This would have been a 5/5, just a couple things set back. When we checked in which was seamless, there was some contacts and a couple personal items left with the door not locked. Very minor and lastly one of the double beds mattress has a major indentation which makes you sink in the middle. The property was update & convenient for our stay. We would book again.

The view was exactly where we wanted to be for the New Year's Eve celebration. (Just an FYI - we did find belongings under the beds in both bedrooms that did not belong to any of the ones staying with us. The cleaning service needs to be alerted to check under the beds).

Property could be viewed as a premium location but it is very loud at night and not very spacious. Very basic bedding, pillows and linens are not premium and one of the beds had a hole in the mattress. Would not stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented 470/472 - 3 bedroom option. It can also be rented as just 2 rooms, the third like an adjoining hotel room. This condo is in a great location over looking the village. It’s clean, nicely accommodating for about 6 people but could potentially sleep 8. The “queen” beds in the guest room and adjoining double room are more like fulls and the mattresses are horrendous unless only sleeping one person per bed. We slept 7 total. The ac is sketch, overcools in the evening from about 5/6-9 and by midnight you feel like it’s an oven. The tub in that double room doesn’t drain well. The sink faucet in the kitchen is about to fall over. The brown carpet in the other 2 rooms appears to be straight out of the ‘80s but judging purely on layout, cleanliness and location, it’s great. Ac definitely needs fixed, that’s miserable when you already can’t get good because the beds are horrific. They don’t offer an amenity card which enables you to use the tram and pool so verify that before booking.

I had a wonderful experience for my May 2023 stay. Booked last minute and received a 5 star accommodation in perfect condition. Everything needed was provided. Beach Blue was a breeze to work with and a special shout out to Elise and Graham for going above and beyond to make everything perfect for me!!!!!!! Also providing impeccable service, Kevin, with Valet services. Great worker and new friend.

Condo was great.

The condo itself was great. Very clean with a great view and furniture. Water pressure was a bit soft if that matters to you. Good for families with young ones. Playground was a big hit. Three restaurants are coming soon. Says there is a heated pool but it wasn’t heated while we were there and that was disappointing. But over all good experience.

Great condo convenient to restaurants

Sinks were clogged and maintenance wasn’t able to get to the property during our stay due to parking issues . Seems like maintenance should have a reserved spot /easier access than having to use the public garage . The property provides transportation passes to get to the beach access but it was so busy and the shuttle was full so we weren’t able to use them . Would be nice if there was a beach specific shuttle. Last time we stayed and used it , they had so many stops to make it took a long time to get from the beach property to the wharf (and most stops didn’t have anyone there ) . Overall the condo was located perfectly for our stay and loved the balcony.

Very enjoyable

We stayed at this condo for 4 weeks. It was exactly as pictured/described. The beds were comfortable and everything was in good condition. We had a problem with the clothes dryer that was resolved by the maintenance team within a few days. The location of the condo was wonderful. Since Baytown Wharf is quiet in February some shops and restaurants in the immediate area weren’t open. The nearest pool was not heated, so we didn’t use it. The balcony was the highlight - it faces west, so sunsets were beautiful and we watched all the area activities/bands from it. Check with the resort on the activity schedule. We didn’t use the tram because parking isn’t a problem in February so it was easier to just drive to the beach. The resort is beautifully maintained and very safe.

Lots of space, good storage for clothes and offering a wonderful balcony to view the activities in Sandestin Baytowne Wharf.Also the sunset views of the bay from the balcony are outstanding. Parking is safe and plentiful for renters. Only 10-15 minutes from shopping, only 5 minutes from Grand Boulevard shopping and restaurants. We had just spent 6 days in Orlando and Disney World so this was restful. We golfed, shopped, dined well and slept late. What could be better?

June 2022 Stay

The condo was perfect, the location was top notch especially for my husband, son, and his buddy to go fishing at the pier and ponds. Restaurants literally right outside. My 15 year old son said it was the best place we have stayed and that is high praise coming from a teenager. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. Views were perfect, especially if you like to people watch…. Great sunsets too.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not only did this rental sit in the best location for the fireworks and the band on stage, it had a huge balcony to watch it all from. The rest of the house was perfect and I will be booking this again next year! The management company was very easy to work with. There was a small issue with the door entry and they emailed me ahead of time to let me know about it and how it was being handled.
