Cozy 3 Bedroom Home - Bay views & Multiple pools

Located near West Ocean City within the private gated community of Assateague Pointe Resort. This community offers something for the whole family - from the 2 large outdoor pools, kiddie splash pad, rec/game room, 1000' fishing/crabbing pier in Sinepuxent Bay, stocked fishing ponds and paddle boats, basketball half court, volleyball, several playgrounds and picnic sites. Located just minutes from the beaches of Assateague Island National Park (where you can see the horses roam the beach) and the Ocean City beach and boardwalk and beaches. A five-minute drive will take you to West Ocean City where you'll find shopping at the Ocean City Outlets, fabulous restaurants, go-carts, and ice cream. The resort community is also located next to Frontier Town water park.

With all the comforts of home, there is whole house Wi-Fi. You can log directly into your favorite video apps with the 55" Fire TV located in the bright and beachy living area. We offer a fully stocked kitchen with microwave, gas stove/oven, toaster, blender & coffee maker. The 2nd bedroom has a Roku TV to enjoy. There is a gas grill outside to enjoy as well. The home has central heat & a/c and parking available for 2 cars.

While sitting outside you can enjoy the shade of our tree on a quiet corner lot. Or a short 100' stroll to the fishing pier that leads out into Sinepuxent Bay where in addition to fishing and crabbing you can savor the beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Our home is a very close walk to the larger community pool/ clubhouse and playground. Just down the road you will find another pool, rec room/arcade, community washing machines, and community showers.

Weekly Rentals are Saturday to Saturday only.
Check-in: 4:00 PM Check-out: 10:00 AM

The home is non smoking, and pets are not allowed.

No parties or events.

Things to Know:

~New in 2024, hardwood floors in the living room and kitchen and a Roku TV in the 2nd bedroom.

~New in 2023 is a much larger water heater to accommodate longer showers. :-)

~The 3rd bedroom is very small. Suitable mainly for children as it only has a set of twin bunk beds and no other space available in the room.

~Parking notes: DRIVEWAY / 2 VEHICLES MAXIMUM. NO STREET PARKING. Guests will need to stop at the office for initial entry.

~There are gate cards in the home for use during your stay. Please make sure the card is left upon your departure or there will be a replacement fee of $20 each.

To Rest Our Heads.

We enjoyed our brief stay at Turtle Cove. It's in need of some updating, but that does not take away from this being a great location where we could rest our heads after a day in the sun! We are a family that spends a good amount of time in Assateague Pointe every year as we have a family plot there, but since us "kids" have gotten older and have had our own kids, us all staying at the house has just become to difficult. Whats even greater for us Turtle Cove is just a quick walk around the corner from our family place. Cant wait for our next visit.

Cute & Minimalistic

I really enjoyed our stay. We are also owners in the neighborhood, but the extended family can't stay in one house/parents house. I do think this house is in need of major updates or complete renovations. My sisters also rented their own houses and the comparison is just not even close. I will go with a more updated house next time. That said we did enjoy our stay and didn't have any issues or concerns other than the HWH. Thanks so much.

The house was adorable, clean and plenty of room for our party of 6. Location was amazing and the community was so friendly. Would definitely recommend!!

The owner was very helpful with any questions that we had and also was quick to respond.

The home was very well located to everything we needed. Also the home was extremely clean. As stated, the 3 bedroom is very very small. We enjoyed our stay very much. All neighbors and people in the community were very nice and welcoming. The pool, paddle boats and all amenities where so nice to have on site. The location was perfect for anything you wanted to do near the beach. Thank You for sharing your home with us.

Very nice house in a quiet neighborhood

Excellent peaceful and secure neighborhood. Love the pond and pier. House was clean and evrything was working well except for the water heater. Hot water stopped during our shower. The blinds on the front door was easily damaged because it was in the way of the soor handle. Property manager was very responsive and very considerate in allowing an early checkin and late checkout. Great stay foe the family!

Not good

We checked in and the carpets were significantly stained, blinds broken, couldn’t turn the shower on (just tub), and comforters were stained. Hot water doesn’t last for more than about a 3 minute shower (not over exaggerating here). Property owner was responsive but it took multiple days for the handyman to make it out and many attempts of me contacting the owner informing them the person didn’t show. He came at 8pm and was there till 11pm fixing the shower- didn't have the blinds with him for replacement, and when inquired, he said he would be back the next day and never came.

Some issues but still had a wonderful time

When we arrived we found broken glass in the living room, the bathroom was not cleaned properly, the carpet next to the kitchen was soaked and the back door was left open. There was definitely an issue with the cleaning company. Also the TV remote was not working and the TV did not work without it. A repair guy came out and fixed some pipes in the floor that were leaking which was causing the wet carpet. Instead of tv we took advantage of all the games we found in the tv stand. Luckily I had a roku and we were able to hook that up to the tv. There was great communication with the owner. Issues were addressed and we still had one of out best vacations! We walked to the pool and bathhouse almost everyday. It's perfect for kids and has a splash pad. We walked to the pier and went fishing and crabbing. We also went fishing and paddle boating a lot in the catch and release pond. There are massive fish in there! The arcade has some games, unfortunately most of them didn't work, but we still had a lot of fun playing ping pong. We like to go to the beach at Assategue and it's only a 5-10 minute drive. We also love to visit Berlin and explore downtown which is only a 15 minute drive. After the issues were taken care of we were very comfortable in the house. There was enough room for our family of 5, and my brother even came and stayed with us the last 2 nights. My boys ages 5 and 7 were thrilled with the bunk beds. I don't think adults could sleep comfortably in them, but they are perfect for kids. The bathroom is pretty small, but we didn't end up using it much for showers since the bathhouse is so close. There were nice big showers there and I was able to take all the kids together and get them washed up at the same time. We would stay here again. Assategue Pointe is our favorite! I think the issues we had were not typical and the owner worked hard to correct everything. I think they just need to hire a new cleaning company in the future.
