Major renovation completed May 28, 2022. Private parking space added in March 2023. For information on our two sister units, please see VRBO # 2162771 - The Sandcastle at Calypso (2 King Bed / 2 Full Bath) and VRBO # 2374039 - The Sunset at Calypso (3 King Bed / 3 Full Bath).

The Shoreline at Calypso is a premium luxury unit containing 3 king suites in a western facing, low level (3rd floor), corner unit. Yes, you read that correctly - 3 bedrooms each with king sized beds and each with a dedicated full bathroom. The Shoreline served as the model home for Calypso's western tower (tower 2) when it was developed in 2007. Being on the 3rd floor corner, this unit lives more like a home than a condo. The height of the unit is perfect to give slight elevation for long range views, but low enough to feel like you're on the beach. You know developers always choose their most appealing unit to serve as the model home - well you've found it!

This sunny and light filled corner unit features unobstructed views to both the south and the west. The kitchen - dining - living areas are oriented to the west for the most incredible views found anywhere. You'll be able to view the famous Russell Fields Pier from both inside and outside your unit which makes a special and beautiful backdrop for the best sunsets you've ever experienced. Of course, you'll be able to take a short 300 step walk to the fabulous Russell Field Pier and popular Pier Park shopping, restaurants, entertainment, etc!

THE RENOVATION

This was totally remodeled in 2022. The unit now sports new "wooden-plank look" porcelain tile floors, remodeled master bath with new and enlarged tiled shower, new tiled shower in the second bath, new granite counter tops on single level kitchen cabinets, new curtains, new HVAC system, new full size washer & dryer, and the installation of Beadboard, crown molding and shoe molding in select areas. We then topped it off with all new paint, all new furniture and bedding, new Polywood patio furniture, four new smart TVs and new unique decor.

This unit is perfect for beach play as it includes a two lounger set-up with an umbrella at the beach at no additional cost. Coastal Parasail has a beach services tent on site where you can rent jet ski's, purchase banana boat rides and sign up for other water activities such as para-sailing!

If you're into beautiful sunsets and stunning gulf views along with being close to everything, this is the place for you! This unit is perfect for three couples, as well as families. It's also great for the popular girl's trips or men's fishing and golf trips that so many enjoy. The sofa also makes a queen bed for a unit maximum of 8 guests.

CHECK-IN PROCESS

You will be able to park one vehicle beach-side, directly below your unit in the Calypso Owner's Garage. Entry to the garage is by private key code. You will then take the elevator to the third floor to our luxury unit. If you have a second vehicle, it will be parked across the street in the Calypso North garage. Entry to garage is by pre-printed pass with barcode. The crossover from the garage to the resort is on the third floor, which is also the floor for our luxury unit. You will proceed directly to our unit, by-passing all the lines for the elevators and condo offices. You will then enter a private key code to unlock the door and enter. You DO NOT have to go to a lobby to "check in" or to a different location to "get your keys".

Calypso Resort charges a $50 registration fee per party which includes access to all resort amenities and one parking spot in the Calypso North Garage across the street. You do not have to pay any additional fee for use of our private parking space in the Calypso Owners Garage (beach side). If your party has more than two vehicles, a third parking space can be purchased from Calypso for an additional $50. The fee covers the entire duration of your stay.

Anchored at the Shoreline ...
This large corner unit waas so spacious, gorgeously decorated and very relaxing! We felt right at home with the comfy beds and stylish furniture. The overall peaceful vibe of this condo just makes you want to stay inside all day and enjoy it. But the perfect location of these condos invites you out to explore what all PCB has to offer. Out of all of the units we have stayed at here at Calypso Resort over the years, this one by far is our favorite! Penny, the unit owner, was so easy to work with and we would highly recommend staying in her any of her units. We made some wonderful memories on this family vacation and plan to return again next summer to stay here again and look forward to booking with Penny.

Great Location, 3 king beds sets it apart from the rest
Extremely happy with our stay. Communication with host was efficient and minimal. This west facing corner unit has phenomenal views. We were lucky to watch dolphins from the kitchen on our last night. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The attached bathrooms in each bedrooms were convenient. Most importantly each room has a king size bed! We utilized the underground parking space below for our rental car which was easy and convenient. Something to be aware of from the property in general, is the pool staff that walks around and tells everyone to get out of the pool with their drink. Regardless of whether it’s water or a beer, it is not tolerated. One day you have someone who is strict about it and then the next day someone else who just has you set your drink outside of the pool ledge. It is very evident that this doesn’t sit well with many guests in the pool area. Overall, I would most definitely rebook this VRBO regardless of the one issue with pool staff inconsistencies.

Family Vacay
This property was the perfect choice for our family vacation. We had 2 teenagers,2 parents and a set of elderly grandparents and the location couldn't have been more perfect. Being a low floor property it was easily accessible for our parents and still had the best views from the balcony where they enjoyed a lot of their time. The parking that was available with the unit was very helpful as well. The property itself was immaculate and nicely done. We were able to promptly check in upon arriving. Penny was a wonderful host and was very communicative. Super close to pier park so everything was just a short walk away. Would rent this location again for our family.

Property is just as described in listing. Location is exactly where you want to be, located next to the Pier and Pier Park shopping complex. The entire property is clean and WELL cared for. It is reassuring seeing multiple complex employees cleaning common bathrooms and caring for the grounds. Also felt safe seeing security on multiple occasions. Perfect for 3 couples
We traveled with our 2 daughters, their spouses and a toddler. The 2 front bedrooms had beautiful views and the back bedroom was perfect for the family with a toddler…the room was dark with the blinds closed and very quiet being at the far end of the building…perfect for a toddler at nap time. Excellent property!
This was the perfect unit for our time at the beach. Beautifully decorated. King suites with three bathrooms were ideal for our group of 6 ladies. Beds were very comfortable (when we decided to finally lie down)! The location was excellent as it was close to everything we wanted/needed. Loved having the reserved parking space within the same tower as the unit. Made for easier unloading/loading. Only negative (which has nothing to do with the actual unit we staying in) was the pool. It was very cloudy and not of any use to us. It's very hard to describe; but it wasn't anything any of us wanted to use. That's saying a lot from someone (me) who normally does not like being on the beach or in the ocean. I became a 'beach bum' during this stay and loved every minute of it! Communication with Penny was great! We couldn't have asked for a better property owner to work with! This will definitely be a place we will look to stay again when visiting Panama City Beach! Highly recommend staying here!

Wow! Great condo
I visit Florida at least once a year either at Destin or PCB. Over 14 times total. This time we picked PCB because I knew Pier Park would entertain my two 18 year olds. This condo is perfect for 6! View is amazing.
Our experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Penny is available. The condo has a view that won't quit. Can see both sides of everything!! Plenty of room to spread out, each of us had our own bedroom. Location is perfect. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. We never moved the car! Condo is quiet. Never heard our neighbors. You might hear the awesome air show that fighter jets put on...but we would run to the balcony to watch everytime!! Amazing! You won't be disappointed in this condo.

Why Calypso? That's easy. Calypso is the closest resort to Pier Park and the famous Russell Fields City Pier (only 300 steps on the sidewalk). They are across the street from each other and are a quick 4 minute walk from Calypso. Leave your car in the garage and avoid the traffic. Pier Park is the heartbeat of PCB and houses the area's best restaurants and shopping - there is even a huge 16 screen movie theater. Many guests spend their entire trip between the beach, the pier and Pier Park. Time is precious - don't spend it in traffic!

Why "The Shoreline at Calypso?" First, it is very hard to find a unit with 3 king suites - anywhere. Secondly, the western facing corner unit at mid level height. Simply put, if you ever stay in this unit - you will be back! The sensational sunsets, the unobstructed long beach views. It's simply more than can be described.
