Red Fox Loft- Bike/Ski to Birkie & ATV Trails!

Red Fox Loft is tucked in the woods, on a quite lane, located just 4 miles from downtown Hayward. If you prefer silent sports, you can Ski in/Ski out or Bike in/Bike out right from the end of the driveway, on private neighborhood trails that lead to the Birkie! If you prefer ATV/Snowmobiling, trails cross less than 1/2 mile away!

Guests enjoy two exterior decks, a screened in porch, two indoor living areas, each with DirecTV, a full kitchen, gas grill, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Red Fox Loft is a newer log home built with an open feel in the main living area, but also maintains a cozy feel in the bedrooms and downstairs sitting area.

Each floor has a sleeping area: a queen bed downstairs, with a full bathroom with stand up shower across the hall. The main floor has a queen bed as well, with the bathroom also located across the hall, with a full tub. Up the stairs is a lofted bedroom with a queen bed and a single daybed.

The fully stocked kitchen is open to the dining room and living room for each conversation while preparing meals to enjoy on your getaway!

The Hayward area has many entertainment options for guests, including: Main Street shopping, Mini Golf, Lumberjack World Championships, American Birkiebeiner XC Ski Trails, CAMBA Mountain/Fat Bike (or hike!) Trails, ATV/Snowmobile trails, fishing, hunting and more! Feel free to reach out, we are happy to suggest options that fit your group.

Guests will need a vehicle to access this property and to get around the area.

Relax in front of the main floor fireplace, and plenty of firewood provided, or in front of the gas fireplace downstairs.

Guests are welcome to use our treadmill, or go outside and explore the quiet Northwoods neighborhood!

We provide a kitchen & bath towels for each guest, as well as shampoo, conditioner and a "starter set" of paper products. Keurig & drip coffee makers are both provided, as well as a Ninja blender.

One well-behaved cat or dog is welcome per visit, for an additional $100 pet fee. Aggressive dog breeds are not allowed under any circumstance, including: Rottweiler, Pit Bull, Staffordshire Terrier, Doberman Pincher, Akita, Alaskan Malamute, Siberian Husky and Wolf Breeds. Guests are expected to clean up after their dogs and leave pet hair to a minimum.

Reunion stay

Cozy, comfortable 3 day stay in a woodland setting while in Hayward for a family reunion. The 3 different sleeping levels in this cabin served us well, as each adult group (this also included a 3 year old and a 1 year old) had their own individual space when retiring for the evening. Having 2 different bathrooms was definitely a plus. We spent limited time at the cabin except during the early morning hours and later evening hours however. Nice hiking areas just outside our door. Screened in porch kept the bugs and the rain away, while we still enjoyed the outdoor sounds and scenery. The cabin was well equipped for smaller children, as there was a portable gate, high chair, pack-n-play, and children eating utensils available for use without even asking for them. Will definitely check again for availability when the next reunion is scheduled!

Great Place!!

This property was the perfect location for our trip. We wanted to be close to ATV trails and they were very easy to access from this property. The house was very clean, well stocked kitchen, and the host was impeccably responsive!! We will look for other properties owned by this host for sure!! Only one thing to be aware of…the description of the house on Vrbo says it has AC, but it’s not central air, one window unit and a free standing unit. The temps while we were there were cool, so we got along fine, but not sure how it would have played out had it been warmer. We may have missed that in some of the property details, not sure.

Sawyer County UTV Trails

We wanted to check out the Hayward part of the state, every year although we live in Wisconsin there is so much to explore, this house was fantastic, enough room to rest in between rides, and cook our meals, there were quite a few places to eat and were recommended by the owners of the property, but we loved the ability to play Monopoly and sit around the house. I highly recomend this location.

Near UTV trail

Somewhat secluded, very quiet, beautiful log cabin near access to UTV trails. Very comfy beds, plenty of dishes, & pots & pans, washer/dryer, and amenities of home. Nice outdoor fire ring which we didn’t get a chance to use unfortunately. Short drive by car to Hayward.

Nice cabin

Very nice stay. Beautiful cabin and the weather was warm but the cabin stayed cool even without central air. Screened porch was a great amenity!

We rode the ATV trails for 3 days--each day in a different direction. Trails are located near this property and are very well marked.

Great little cabin near the trails.

Fantastic cabin. It's secluded enough to enjoy the peaceful north woods and still close enough to town and trails. The cabin has everything you'd need, the screened in patio was a perfect spot for morning coffee and evening beverages with friends and family. Super spacious, everything inside and out is well maintained. The owners are super helpful with checking in and anything you need during your stay. Definitely would stay again.

Perfect get-away

We stayed for a long weekend to enjoy some family snowmobiling. Perfect quiet location for our family and dogs with a large driveway to accommodate the snowmobile trailer. Close access to trails. Great host. Beautiful Northwoods cabin. Exceeded expectations. Powell's on Round Lake is a must for dining.

Quiet, private and relaxing getaway!

We loved this house we stayed in. It was very clean and quiet and had everything we needed. It was close enough to downtown Hayward that we were able to go into town to shop, eat and visit the winery and head back to the house in between if needed. Alyssa was great at communicating with us and the house was very homey and comfortable. My girlfriends and I had a much needed relaxing weekend away which was exactly what we were hoping for!

Exceptional getaway property

A beautiful woodsy and meticulously clean cabin. Located in a secluded area, but close enough to town if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this relaxing little getaway .
