Welcome to this beautifully decorated, relaxing, and private bungalow. Situated on a quiet street just a block from Lake Loveland and minutes from downtown. Perfect for a long weekend, family vacation or business travel. This home offers all the essential comforts of home and more. Spend your day sightseeing in Rocky Mountain National Park, Denver, Fort Collins or enjoy all the local attractions Loveland has to offer. After spending your day exploring, enjoy cooking your favorite meal in the well equipped kitchen, relax with a family movie and some popcorn, enjoy a game of Foosball or ping pong, enjoy a BBQ out back, relax in the hot tub and drift off in the hammock. The Franklin Retreat is where lasting memories are made!

From the moment you enter you will instantly feel right at home and love the open floor plan. The upstairs living room features comfortable seating surrounded by beautiful Colorado inspired decor, a TV and lots of different guide books about Colorado. You will find the Franklin Retreat house book along with additional information about Loveland and surrounding areas on the coffee table and on the desk.

The dining area comfortably seats 6 and offers a small bar table with bar glasses and drink utensils.

Each bedroom is furnished with a quality, comfortable mattress and fitted with white cotton linens. There are blackout curtains in the upstairs bedrooms and sheer curtains in the downstairs bedroom. Alarm clocks and sound machines are in each bedroom for a peaceful nights sleep.

You will love the bright white kitchen. It is fully equipped with all your cooking and eating needs to make all your homemade recipes while on vacation. Just bring your groceries! Complimentary coffee, tea, and hot cocoa are supplied for your mornings along with some breakfast options and popcorn for movie night.

The bathrooms are stocked with soft white towels for each guest and lots of toiletries for your use. There is a shower/tub combo upstairs and a shower downstairs.

In the basement you will find another family room with a sectional leather couch and a TV. Great for family movie night! You will also find a small workout area so that you can continue to focus on you while on vacation. In this space is also a desk and comfy chair for you to sit and work on your laptop. The other side of this large basement room features a game room. You will find a Foosball table and a ping pong table. There is also a bookshelf with lots of different board games, puzzles, and children's books for you and your family to enjoy together.

The 3rd bedroom is located in the basement next to the family room and 2nd bathroom. The washer and dryer are located in the basement as well.

Relax and unwind on the back patio furnished with an outdoor table, couches, chairs, hammock, hot tub, corn-hole, and a BBQ grill.

There is a camera doorbell by the front door for your safety.

She thought of everything…
We loved this house! Jennifer thought of everything. We had plenty of towels, toilet paper and paper towels and she also provided things like cooking spray, salt and pepper, laundry detergent, and really good coffee!! The place was super clean, comfortable, and cozy. It was also decorated beautifully. We were super close to downtown and lots of shops and restaurants. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. My only recommendation would be to provide a baby gate for the stairs and maybe a high chair and pack and play for babies, as it is hard to travel with those things.

This was the perfect place for our girls trip! The house was very clean and very accommodating. Loved all the special touches like the popcorn, pancake mix and oatmeal packets for breakfast, Britta filter, games, and streaming services. We loved the outdoor area, especially the hot tub. Great location to head to Rocky Mountain national park and Fort Collins. Loved the nearby winery and hikes as well. Would stay here again!

What’s not to love?
Franklin Retreat was a 10/10 from the moment we walked in. Our hostess had not only left us a welcoming sign on the refrigerator, but she had also left us a note on the counter and some cookies from a bakery downtown. The house was easy to find and conveniently located close to everything. We were less than 10 minutes from Boyd Lake, Devil's Backbone (amazing hiking), River's Edge Natural Area and so many more easy walking trails. You're also less than 10 minutes from any number of restaurants or coffee shops (Ziggi's was our favorite). However, you'd never know it from the quiet neighborhood the house is located in. As for the house, it was spotless. The decor was fantastic. The beds were comfortable. The downstairs had so many fun choices of games. We had our 20 year old daughter with us and her and my husband played round after round of ping pong. We also took advantage of the outdoor seating in the backyard. We did have one question while we were there and I'm not sure it took even a minute to get a response. It was a wonderful stay. Jennifer obviously takes pride in her home, and it shows in every detail. I wouldn't hesitate for a second staying here again. Kim Hamilton

Classy Feel, Cozy, Clean and Fun
We were in town for our son's graduation at CSU. We had family coming in from out of state. This was the perfect house for our group. The location is super convenient for Loveland and only 12 min from Fort Colins. We also really liked the Benson Sculpture Garden 4 min away off of W 29th street. We really enjoyed the backyard area. The outdoor seating was comfortable with plenty of seating and two large shade umbrellas. Had a great time playing corn hole and using the hot tub. The photos give the impression that the hot tub is behind an out building but in reality it is all connected. It is a really nice outdoor living area. The only draw backs to the house is that it doesn't have a garbage disposal and there are some squeaky floor boards. Those are really minor negatives when looking at the whole of our experience with the house. The kitchen was clean, modern and perfect for our needs. We used the kitchen for every meal and never ate out (great family time). The Kitchen was well stocked with Coffee, Tea, and even pancake mix. Most importantly everything was super clean through out the house. I could go over all of the rooms and living spaces but to save time I'll just say that the bedding was of very good quality. Each room was well decorated, comfortable, and clean. The whole house has a nice feel to it. Also the family room downstairs with foosball, pingpong, board games, huge couch and TV made this house and our stay fun. Over all we had a great stay and would stay again!

Fabulous property
Our stay at Franklin Retreat was picture perfect! Jennifer has considered every detail in this perfectly decorated cottage. We were in town for our son's wedding and the cottage was conveniently located near both the rehearsal dinner restaurant and the wedding venue as well as nearby grocery shopping and restaurants. We so appreciated the kind welcome note and delicious cookies upon our arrival. I truly cannot say enough good things about how lovely and well appointed the Franklin Retreat is.

The property was clean, just as pictured, the host responded immediately whenever we contacted her, the location was excellent, access was simple , everything about it was good. We were there for my daughters wedding and were very busy so we didn’t get to enjoy the great backyard but we highly recommend this property and stay there again in a heartbeat. Loveland is a great area with lots to do.

Loved our stay in Loveland!
The house was immaculate...probably the cleanest rental property I have ever been in. The games were great to occupy the children when we weren't out ad about. The backyard was peaceful and secluded. Jennifer was communicative and attentive to our needs, she is a great host! Should I need to rent a house in Loveland again, I would definitely choose the Franklin Retreat.

Great property and communication
This rental property is as described if not better. The home was clean, modern, and comfortable. The communication was straightforward and it was easy to enter the property. The owner keeps everything well stocked with great amenities although we didn't use as much as we could have as we weren't in the house too much due to visiting for a work event. The upstairs bathroom was nice as well with plenty of towels and toiletries that were made available. We only stayed on the top floor and those bedrooms were both very comfortable with plenty of space. Downstairs does tend to run a littler colder if the A/C is in use. The wifi worked very well and came in handy as my AT&T cell reception was terrible on this trip. The kitchen was stocked with appliances and extras. The options for coffee beans was a nice touch as well. We did not use the hot tub so I can't review that. The driveway only fits two vehicles as mentioned so be ready for that. The home is easy to find and close to the lake area. I definitely would stay at this location again and can recommend it.

The home was nestled in a peaceful quaint neighborhood, two blocks from a lake. Everything was within a responsible distance (downtown, devil's back bone, restaurants). More Than What Was Promised
Pictures and description was spot on. The house was ideal for our week long stay. The host thought of everything to make our stay worry free. I generally bring back up kleenex boxes, shampoo, hand lotion, olive oil, baggies, spices, coffee...none was needed. The house is very tastefully decorated in a quiet neighborhood. We were welcomed with some delicious monster sized cookies too.

The property was clean and as advertised. It was a convenient location. The house was adequately stocked with necessities. We had some issues with the wifi, but the host worked with us to get that corrected as soon as possible. My one complaint would be the bath towel situation. We had 1 towel per person and told we could get fresh towels after staying 5 days. We were not allowed to wash them and reuse. I ended up buying some towels for us to wash and reuse. I did not ask about getting towels before the 5 days, but it is likely the host would have done that for us as she was friendly and easy to work with. I would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area with a small group of 6 or less.

My family and I have called Loveland our home for 17 years. We enjoy the great selection of restaurants, yearly events, friendly people and all the wonderful hiking trails close to home. We also love that Rocky Mountain National Park is only about 30 mins away. We spend time in the park year round.
