The cabin is within a short driving distance to the "Jewels of The Ocala" four freshwater springs that offer a wide range of activities for visitors to enjoy such as: swimming,boating,fishing, snorkeling,canoeing or hiking, and lets not forget Florida famous Silver Springs State Park. located only 12 miles from the cabin.
The cabin is equipped with a full size refrigerator, stove, microwaive, toaster, coffee maker, washer and dryer, a cozy fire pit overlooking the lake, and plenty of parking spaces.

Lake Cabin

This is our 2nd time staying here and loved it! The property is gorgeous and it's nice having the canoes and kayaks to use. The only downside was our poor dog ate a shrimp with a hook on it and it got lodged in his esophagus. We had to take him to UF Emergency Vet Hospital. He stayed 3 days, but is doing well now. We would definitely stay again!

Girls trip

Just got home from a fantastic girls trip to Sliver Springs. We stayed at this lovely cabin for the long weekend and it was perfect. It has everything we needed. Cabin was clean, well appointed, location was super convenient. We had no problems during our stay. Would definitely return and recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay in Silver Springs

Delightful

I love this beautiful cabin. It feels like you are in the middle of the woods. The scenery with the lake is great. The location is ideal if you enjoy tithe tropical feel of central Florida. We spent a lot of time exploring the area particularly the OcalaForest. We loved kayaking the many natural springs, bird watching and hiking. My only request is for the kayaks at the house be more accessible. We did not go out on the lake because we co8ldnt move the kayaks easily

Beautiful place to share with family

Beautiful place to share with the family, it met all expectations and more than we expected. Beautiful decoration of the cabin, clean, enough kitchen utensils, as well as in the bathroom. My children really enjoyed the bonfire at night, the canoes in the lake.Super quiet and spacious place.We suggest it 100%.

Lazy Lake Time….

Had a relaxing last minute getaway weekend in the country. Very flexible and communicative host, clean house, very cozy. The screened porch and fully fenced front yard was perfect for hanging out with the pups. Close to Silver Springs for an epic paddle!

Even Better Than the Listing

The house and property are fantastic! It is well kept and clean. We particularly enjoyed the screen room, and the dock and boats. We took day trips to NASA, St. Augustine, Silver Springs, and the Rainbow River. The kitchen could use upgraded pots and pans, dishes, and food storage containers. It would be nice if the bathrooms had blow dryers and hand towel racks. I never know what to expect at a rental house; for this house I needed to buy facial tissue, food storage bags, beach towels, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets. I would rent this house again and highly recommend it!

It was perfect!

I took my husband away for his birthday weekend and my goal was to have 4 days of adventure and fun! We went ziplining, four-wheeling and went on the glass bottom boat. The house and entire property was the perfect place to start our mornings in a calm and serene atmosphere and end our adventures the same exact way! That porch overlooking the lake is magnificent and the inside is a total cabin feel. We loved everything about it! I do suggest planning ahead of time what you want to do in silver springs because things are pretty far from each other but the trees and lakes make each drive totally worth it! We will be coming back with our kids and dog soon!!!

My son and my birthday adventure

We have lived in Florida for about 20 years and have always wanted to visit the Florida natural springs. We decided to do it for our birthdays this year. This cabin provided the perfect place for our family of 6 to enjoy a long weekend. The place is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and stocked with some basic necessities. We enjoyed canoing, kayaking and just sitting on the dock over the water. From the house we visited Alexander Springs, which was 30 mins away. It was amazing. I should also say that Winn Dixie is literally like 3 minutes away which was super convenient. Overall 10 out of 10.

Great house for family stay.

Our stay was great. The house, porch and lake view were perfect. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook and/or grill with a large kitchen table. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable beds. I would recommend this home and it was pet friendly.

Lakeside vacation

We stayed at this property for 10days. The pictures of the house do not do it justice. It is beautiful and the screened in back porch was my favorite place to relax. This is the cleanest VRBO property we have ever rented. The bed was really comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. We didn’t use the kayaks or paddle boat. Any family with kids would love this property. We will be back next year.

Fabulous Lake Cabin

This place and Lorgia are the best. We booked last minute to wait out our plumbing coming back on in SWFL. I read the reviews before booking and liked the way Lorgia replied to reviews. I can tell you anything she said she would look at in response to reviews was done! The yard was so nice for our dogs. Plenty of shade so our pups loved it. Everything worked well and plenty of supplies for any typical needs. The lake was pretty to look at from the screened in porch. Lorgia was very flexible and the communication was great given our situation. I’m grateful for her hospitality and plan on coming back several times a year.

A wonderful place to stay!

We had an amazing stay at the Lake House. If you’re looking for a quiet place to get away and relax this is it! The house is clean and inviting. It is in a great location, right in the middle of some awesome state parks and attractions. Although, the view from the screened in porch is so great you may never want to leave it!
