The Space:
#StayinMyDistrict Buckman. Clean & Modern design in this popular SE Belmont neighborhood. Walk to local shops and dining and enjoy one of Portland's most coveted neighborhoods. Modern style and comfort in this bright & open space. Hardwood floors, high ceilings and tons of light, in this private townhouse. Laminate floors, subway tile, high ceilings and tons of light, & Modern New finishes give this 3-level town-home a spacious open feel. 2 Bedroom, 1.5 full bath, private patio, living area, full Kitchen, FREE Street Parking, Smart TV and WIFI make this space your perfect HOME Sweet Home. Accommodates up to 6 guests and a Pre-approved DOG with an additional fee.

3rd level bedroom features a comfortable King size bed, with high quality mattress and linens for a quality nights sleep. There is a desk, a closet for guests personal items and plenty of space to spread out. There is also a half bathroom with a sink and toilet.

The middle or 2nd level bedroom is set up with a Queen size bed, comfortable mattress and linens for a good nights sleep. This bedroom is set up like a loft with privacy but somewhat open to below and other guests will need to utilize the full bathroom so there is some lack of privacy. There is a desk, a closet for guests personal items and plenty of space to spread out.

The full bathroom is modern, clean and updated with a tile walk in shower and new fixtures! Bathroom amenities include quality linens, shampoo and conditioner, and hairdryer. Bathroom is located on the 2nd level by the bedroom and there is a Washer & Dryer in the hallway.

*NOTE: this is the only full bath on the property so guests will need to walk through the 2nd level bedroom to access bathroom and will also need to utilize the open stairway to access the 3rd level bedroom.

The main living area has a comfortable couch that pulls out to a sofa sleeper. There is a flat screen TV for catching up on your favorite Netflix series or for lounging and reading a book. There are tons of windows throughout the space that bring in tons of sunlight and sliding doors to the private patio create a bright and open feel.

Enjoy eating in, with your full kitchen including refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave and plenty of cookware and utensils. and kitchen opens to living area. There is a folding table and chairs that opens and can seat up to (6) guests.

FREE street parking available.

This home accepts up to (2) pre-approved Dogs with an additional $50 per pet fee. We are NOT able to accommodate cats due to allergies. Please be sure to read our Pet Policy before booking.

Guests have access to the private unit and private patio area.

The Neighborhood:
Buckman is a neighborhood in the Southeast section of Portland, Oregon. The neighborhood is bounded by the Willamette River on the west, E Burnside St. on the north, SE 28th Ave. on the east, and SE Hawthorne Blvd. on the south. The Buckman neighborhood is in a great location as it is in close proximity to some of Portland’s most hip and popular neighborhoods such as Kerns, Laurelhurst, and Belmont. Residents have plenty of independent retail, coffee, pub, and dining options just a stone’s throw away in most cases across several adjoining neighborhoods.

Buckman’s Hawthorne District is one of the most unique, and most popular areas in Southeast Portland. The area is known for its wonderfully restored Old Portland homes, liberal residents, and fun and funky feel. The street is lined with unique restaurants and shops and has a definite Portland-local flair. Local area standouts are Slow Bar, Rontoms, My Father’s Place, and the Lucky Labrador Brew Pub.

Compared to most other areas of Portland, there is so much to eat and drink in Buckman that you can spend every day trying a new place and it will take you over a year to get to them all. Buckman is a foodie’s paradise, but it’s also home to a wide array of local microbreweries. In case you weren’t aware, Portland has more microbreweries per capita than any other city in the world, and it seems that almost all of them call Buckman home.

Getting Around:
To have an authentic Portland experience, there is no need to leave the neighborhood. Shopping, dining and entertainment are abundant. This is very urban area convenient for walking, biking or using public transportation. Portland also has a wonderful Bike Share BIKETOWN located all over Portland Metro. You could get around efficiently with an UBER. Public Transportation is close by with a bus stop only a few minute walk from the house. You can use the buses and the MAX light rail to get anywhere in Portland Metro. Great Coffee, dining and a grocery store blocks from the property.

Other Things to Note:
Portland City Code requires that we keep a log with the Name, Address and Vehicle Information for ALL adult guests. This will be required before check in. If you are renting a vehicle, we will need the License Plate number or we will need to note alternate transportation (ie; air, train, bike) Please provide this information with your confirmed booking and check that you are booked for the correct number of guests.
- You must be over the age of 25 to rent any of our properties.
~You may be required to provide a photo of your Drivers License or Government ID directly to the host. This is for the safety and security of both guests & property Owners, and will be requested at the discretion of Stay in My DIstrict.
- No additional guests and visitors/guests that are not registered on the reservation booking are allowed to be on the property after 10pm.
- Smoking anywhere on the property will result in forfeiture of your entire deposit plus can result in additional fees up to $500 for smoke removal.
- Self Check In using electronic lock. Check-In is any time after 4:00 PM and Check-Out is by 11:00 AM.
~ Housekeeping is required on all stays over 15 nights and is provided for an additional charge of $50.
~ Up to 2 pre-approved, well-behaved Dog allowed for an additional non-refundable pet fee of $50 per pet. Please notify us if you are bringing your pet AND be sure to read and understand our Pet Policy.
PET POLICY
We are happy to welcome your well behaved, and house trained dog into our home! We do NOT accept Cats due to allergies. There is an additional pet fee of $50 per pet, as per my listing details. We will go ahead and request the fee via an alteration request after the booking is confirmed. Please accept ASAP to confirm authorization.
Please also be aware of our pet policy:
-Pets should not be left unattended at the property inside or outdoors. We do have kennels available on request for an additional fee.
-Please pick up after your pets in outdoor areas immediately.
-Pets are NOT allowed on furnishings or linens. Evidence of pets on furnishings or linens will result in additional cleaning fees to guest.
-Pet fee accounts for additional cleaning and normal wear & tear due to hosting pets. Pet fee does NOT cover damage or additional cleaning above and beyond reasonable

Interaction with Guests:
I can be available by text message, phone call or email. I try to give my guests complete privacy but live close by and can be available if needed. The owner lives onsite but does not want to be disturbed so if you need anything please contact me directly.

Truly great space!

I most enjoyed the little details of personality the space had, our pup was comfortable and felt welcome, lots of space, would love to stay for a week! Only complaint is the upstairs bed slept super hot, not sure if it was the bedding, mattress cover or my sensitive internal thermostat. Thanks for some great memories made! Oh and would absolutely recommend The Mont down the street for breakfast!

It is as pictured for the most part. Outdoor seating looks neglected and uninviting right now. There is need for a deep clean ( dusty, grimy areas in more decorative furnishings and in overhead light fixtures). But, frequently used surfaces are clean and the place is obviously maintained pretty well.

Fantastic local access

We stayed and had a wonderful time. The lodging is comfortable and well appointed. There are many local shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance! Also, getting to other neighborhoods is a very short drive. Plenty of local sights within walking distance too.

This was a great place to stay. Very clean and quiet. Had everything we needed for the weekend. Convenient location. I would highly recommend this unit! The only thing I can say that could improve is the water pressure in the shower. Otherwise fantastic weekend.

Comfortable and Easy

The place is a great use of space but be prepared to go up and down the stairs. The layout is great for a couple, two couples, multiple friends or a family with older children. There is attention to detail in the many towels, toilet paper, kitchen amenities and items for your dog. The neighborhood is more urban as the place is next to a Thai restaurant and across from a BBQ one. Highly recommend both restaurants. Parking can be a bit challenging as it is street but you can park on Belmont in front or the street that runs behind it. Our son lives in Belmont so it was a great location and has access to a lot of other neighborhoods. We would come back.

Property in a great neighborhood and very quiet. If you like Thai food, there is a restaurant right door eith great food and wonderful staff. There are three floors to explore - sort of like being in a tree house. Guests have plenty of room to socialize or to grab some quiet time too

Great Location!

Great neighborhood and for us it was central to family. It fit us and our 18 year old son very nicely. I enjoyed the break up of spaces between living area and bedrooms. Each is on a separate level so would be difficult for those with mobility issues. Host was great and provided many thoughtful items for guests just arriving. We loved our stay.

A perfect Sunday night

Well situated near everything in Portland, comfortable and perfectly equipped with all the comforts of a three level home. Free parking on the street which was never an issue. Enjoyed our short visit and will be on our list to visit again if we are coming to stay overnight in Portland.
