Elegant Vacation Home with Mountain Views in a Retreat-like Setting
Welcome to your home-away-from-home vacation retreat. This open-concept, ranch-style home is ideal for families with children looking for a vacation getaway while enjoying the beauty of Colorado. This beautifully decorated 3,500sq/ft., 3 bedroom, 3 bath air-conditioned home is nestled at the end of a private cul-de-sac, with breathtaking city views of the Front Range and Pikes Peak. It is conveniently located in the West-side of Colorado Springs, just minutes from many local venues, shopping, sightseeing, and of course Air Force Academy, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, The Broadmoor, Manitou Springs, and much more.
The main level consists of the welcoming Family Room with a wood-burning fireplace, baby grand piano, a full wall of windows, an expansive Dining Room with seating for 10, a custom-designed Gourmet Kitchen, a Private Office, and a Powder Room. The fully equipped kitchen features double ovens, a six-burner gas stove, stainless steel appliances, a wine refrigerator, and a microwave.
The lower level opens to a spacious wine-inspired den, a fully equipped Theatre/ Media Room complete with surround sound for watching your favorite movies, seating for five, and room for more. Adjacent to the family room is a guest bedroom with an adjoining full bath. The top-level is where two guest bedrooms are housed and a full bathroom complete with a large walk-in shower, and a luxurious soaking tub.
One of the favorite places our guests enjoy is located off the main floor where there are four separate outdoor entertainment decks. The first, a 1,000 square foot outdoor living area includes a hot tub, an outdoor fireplace, and comfortable seating is found. It overlooks the expansive unobstructed city views of Colorado Springs. A second adjacent deck, equipped with a gas BBQ grill and an outdoor dining table perfect for relaxing while taking in the beautiful views. The half-acre property has a third outdoor lower stoned deck which is surrounded by beautiful trees and has outdoor dining with seating for your entire family. Additionally, there is a fourth outdoor lower space complete with a cozy hammock for reading or napping.
While we love sharing this property with friends from far and near, we do not intend for this home to be used for events or large parties, out of respect for our neighbors and to maintain the serenity of the setting.

We are empty nesters who moved to Colorado Springs from south Louisiana in 2005, purchasing this property as our dream home. We love to entertain and the open floorplan with wide kitchen, den, and walkout decks with hot tub and views had immediate appeal. You'll smile at the New Orleans decor and cast iron cookery, as well as the baby grand piano. We hope you'll enjoy and treasure our home as much as we do, and that this becomes your private getaway whenever you visit Colorado Springs.

For those who value seclusion with proximity to all Colorado Springs has to offer, this is the perfect residential getaway. You'll be 15 minutes from the Air Force Academy to the north, 15 minutes from downtown to the south, and 15 minutes from Garden of the Gods just down the road. The neighborhood is peaceful and established high on a ridge with views of Pike's Peak to the front and "north Springs" from the decks out back. This is the place to avoid the "hotel hassle" and relax with friends and family.

This is the perfect place to relax, spread out and be comfortable, and enjoy all that Colorado Springs has to offer. Oh, and enjoy the deer that that will come by to say "hello" throughout your stay.
