Overall, the Peninsula is one of the best places to stay in PV, for a number of reasons:
1. Pool is amazing - one of the largest
2. View(s) are amazing (if you have a front unit)
3. Location - lots of places to eat, and walking to Walmart/Sams Club/Costco
However, do your homework...for this particular unit, some things were not as described - if your just using the condo to sleep, and NOT to feed the family, its fine...but if your planning on making meals, here's some things to know:
-stove not working consistently - burners didnt work, random if they worked or not
-no oven in the unit - was not disclosed in unit description
-dishwasher not working - and was never fixed
-drain plugged in 2nd bedroom
-blinds were stuck, and when tried to open, they fell down (they were fixed, but you can tell they have not been attended to in years)
-bed pillows completely worn out, not even sure why they bothered with them they are that bad
-overall, the unit needs quite a bit of work - somewhat dirty, walls all scuffed, no maintenance in years
The security at Peninsula is tight, but around the pool its a bit ridiculous..owners are given preference to chairs, so as a renter (with a wrist band so they can tell) you are really treated like second class citizens
I will say that the communication with the property manager was fast, and they did try to attempt to fix issues quickly - but you can tell, that unless a renter says something, they put NO effort into caring for the unit.
