Exceptional home amid idyllic surroundings
This home is stunning - an upscale remodeled cottage with modern decor and conveniences. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of cups, dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils. Beds were comfy and entire home was spotless. A full sized dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer contributed to our comfortable stay.
If you are planning for a country get away, this is your home. There is a private path to Lough Guitane for nice stroll, there is a picture book view of fields with cows grazing - we saw 4 rainbows during our stay!
Our host Karen was very communicative. A stuck window shade was fixed promptly the next morning.
The home is about 15-20 mins from Killarney and we liked getting away from the hustle and bustle of town. Nothing better after a day of sightseeing than to sit in the hot tub and looking at the strikingly beautiful scenery or sitting in a chair in the dining area with a cup of coffee and enjoying the view through large floor to ceiling windows.
My daughter enjoyed the attached yoga studio which she used practice dance while my mother did yoga and tai chi.
Only thing that we had to navigate was having one shower for 6 people. We figured out a schedule pretty quickly and it wasn’t a big deal - the view and rest of home really overcame that shortfall by a lot. There is an extra toilet which was handy. We highly recommend this home! It’s is gem!
