Treat yourself to magnificent mountain views, sumptuous luxury, and thrilling recreation at Wintergreen Resort. Spanning 11,000 acres on the eastern slopes of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Our spacious 2BR/2BA condominium is located on the 18th hole of Devils Knob. Walk to dog park, hiking trails, and Nature Center. Golf course view from back balcony. Features FAST Wi-Fi, two smart TVs, and cozy fireplace. This unit is adjacent to the Spa and Nature Center and convenient to 37 miles of hiking trails, cascading streams and lush forests.

The ultimate four-season vacation spot, Wintergreen Resort is peaceful and refreshing, with an endless variety of activities. You can also visit Nelson County's 7 wineries, 5 breweries, 3 cideries, and 2 distilleries. Wintergreen has it all!

Pet fee $150. Seasonal outdoor pool/tennis. Resort access not included. Be sure to look for current rate!

The property was much further away from the slopes than advertised. There weren’t enough pillows or towels for the guests. No extra guests were invited. We were five as listed. There were a lot of long black hairs in the “clean” sheets.

Just relax!

Our host was wonderful, she even gave recommendations on activities and restaurants. The condo was very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. Check in was a lot easier than we thought it would be. We will highly recommend this property to friends and family!

Great ski trip

I recently stayed at this VRBO property for a three-day ski trip in January. The property, while quaint and a bit dated, was impressively well-maintained and spotlessly clean. Both check-in and check-out processes were straightforward and hassle-free, which I appreciated. Location-wise, it's situated in a very accessible area. It's important to note that it's not a ski-in/ski-out property, but getting to the ski area is easy either by driving to the parking lot or catching a shuttle, so it wasn't much of an inconvenience. The only aspect that puzzled me was the requirement of a $1,500 refundable deposit at the time of booking. This seemed a bit steep, but it wouldn't deter me from staying here again. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a comfortable and convenient stay near the ski slopes.

Great winter retreat for a small family

My family booked this lovely spot for a holiday skiing trip at Wintergreen. The home is warm and inviting with lots of the little extras that make this place a thoughtful home away from home. The kitchen was stocked with all the things you might need to prepare your own meals. There are extra blankets, towels, and linens in the home. The bathrooms are well designed and the water pressure and temperature were great, handling consecutive double showers (4 total) apres-ski. My family enjoyed the streaming services on the TVs to relax in the evenings. We appreciated the hot chocolate left for guests. From the home you are a short walk from the spa center and a few minutes away via car from parking near the ski lifts. We had a great time and would book it again!

Very pleasant stay

We stayed 7 nights. Very comfortable and cozy renovated apartment in beautiful Wintergreen resort. Very dog friendly. Loretta is very responsive. Checkin/out is super easy. We had wonderful time there. Look forward to returning someday.

Beautiful condo in a great resort

Easy check in and the condo was very nice! Everything has been updated/renovated and super clean. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the early evening with a glass of wine. We were able to hike every day and were so appreciative that we could bring our dog with us! There is plenty to do in Wintergreen and we enjoyed the cooler mountain air! As a bonus we were able to walk to the scenic overlook to see the 4th of July fireworks, which were awesome. I would not hesitate to stay in Loretta's condo again!

A cozy stay

We loved this condo. Everything is super clean, comfortable, and updated. The location is easy to find and near some great walking paths, this helped us a lot with walking our dog. We will definitely consider visiting again.

Great ski weekend at Wintergreen

Great and cozy place, clean! Loretta communicated well. Warm! Loved fireplace and heater. 3 min drive to Wintergreen ski. Easy, everything we needed was just there. Nice to have a dryer to dry our wet ski accessories. We would definitely stay there again. And ski Wintergreen again!

Alpine experience.

Loved staying here, and found the kitchen well equipped. We enjoyed the view from the deck and the walking distance to the spa. Stairs to the condo were a bit challenging but manageable.

Recharge in the mountains

Easy to rent and communicate with the owner. Decent location. Comfortable unit. Does need more towels- one set per person (nothing extra to use at the free use pool) But you should know that amenities on the mountain are A La carte. The Spa that is next door with the nice pools and fitness center - Extra $25 per person per day. Tennis— extra. Golf- only members on the mountain no guest passes. Lake extra $18/ per person per day. They mountain had nice music and fireworks over the 4th of July holiday weekend. A couple of nice hiking trails for guests only that we enjoyed doing.

Excellent Place

My family came here to spend the weekend to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary and Fathers Day weekend! The reservation was smooth, Loretta kept in touch with us the whole time by answering any questions we had and the condo was well decorated and super clean. She had kept some refreshing goodies for us as well 😀 which had a homely touch. We took two nearby hikes. The one to the waterfall was the best. Overall, a very relaxing and satisfying trip. So thank you Loretta!!
