Jolly Roger is located in the heart of much sought after Jamaica Beach on the west end of Galveston Island. This charming three bedroom two bath home will accommodate up to 7 guests and offers guests close proximity to the local community swimming pool (open in the summer) and the community boat launch. This home has been very well maintained and is updated throughout, giving guests the ideal vacation rental.
This home has an extra-large driveway (yes, you can park your boat in the driveway), walking distance to Jamaica Beach pool and park or a short golf cart ride to the beach (ask about our concierge services). Beyond the expanded concrete driveway is a screened-in porch at ground level, large outdoor shower and charcoal grill (to be used on ground level away from the house).
When guests enter the home they are greeted by a full-size kitchen with Corian kitchen counters, large refrigerator, oven, dishwasher and more than enough kitchen tools and supplies to prepare meals for the whole group. The living area features a large flat-screen television and two sofas. The living area is large enough to use one of the two twin roll-away beds that are tucked into the bedroom closets. The roll away beds move where you want them - if children like sleeping nearby or if they want more autonomy and want to sleep in the living area. No sleeper sofa in this property. The primary bedroom features a large storage closet with sliding barn doors and an all new primary bath with custom cabinetry. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, ceiling fan and television. The second bedroom features a queen bed and the third bedroom features a full-size futon that folds out.
JAMAICA BEACH
Jamaica Beach Texas is one of the most popular beaches and sought after neighborhoods when it comes to vacation rentals – what it lacks in size, it makes up for action during the summer months, holidays and event weekends! Jamaica Beach is far enough out to be away from the hustle and bustle of Seawall (8 miles), and but not too far away from most of the island attractions (10 miles from 61st Street). Jamaica Beach also has it’s own community pool and private marina and boat ramp, Regatta Basin, a community pavilion and playground.

This home is pet-friendly. All pets must be registered, and pet fee ($100/pet) must be paid upfront. Outside the home, dogs must be leashed at all times, and owners are responsible for picking up after dogs. Please review Ryson’s 'Tips for Traveling with Pets' for additional information.
No white trash bags allowed; all trash has to be in black trash bags. The City will issue citations.

This vacation home should accommodate up to 4 vehicles to be parked at the property. Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.
Jamaica Beach is a residential neighborhood, and quiet hours are enforced between 10 pm and 7 am.
Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs. Oftentimes additional TVs are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices.
All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.
EXTENDED STAYS
Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.
