Wanderer lieben Westen Kerry mit seiner ausgewiesenen Wegen und Wanderungen von unterschiedlicher Länge und Schwierigkeit. Das Gebiet verfügt über Bronzezeit stehenden Steine, Eisenzeit Vorgebirge Festungen, frühchristliche Klosteranlagen und mittelalterliche Ringforts. Alle diese Seiten sind innerhalb einer kurzen Fahrstrecken der Residenz, während der Blick von der Veranda einen Hügel Turmhaus siebzehnten Jahrhunderts zu offenbaren. Ein 30 Minuten Aufstieg werden Sie zu dieser Turmhaus zu bekommen. Es ist die Mühe mit Blick auf den Mount Brandon im Nordosten, die Blasket Inseln im Süden und, bei der seltenen Gelegenheit, County Clare im Norden wert.

Our stay in this house was absolutely relaxing, it was perfect. The house is big and everyone could have their own space. It was a home away from home. Questions to the owner were ALWAYS answered quickly. Absolutely recommendable!!!!

Beautiful location and quality cottage

Spent a quiet, yet special week on the Dingle Peninsula - this cottage is within easy distance of Dingle, yet right in the middle of the Slea Head Drive - you must see!! The cottage is spacious, modern beautifully finished and all topped off with fabulous views.

Lovely house with superb views from every window

Such a lovely spot, and so many great sights - even walks from the property - many of which are suggested in the host’s information pack. Everything is well provisioned, modern and clean, and there was nothing lacking. The house impresses from the moment you walk through the door. The ‘sun-lounge’ is a beautiful place to sit on an evening and take in the surroundings. In a word, beautiful.

LOved Ireland and the coittage was excellent

Brilliant time

We had a very relaxing time in a very nice and cozy house. Beautifully situated in the northwest of the Dingle peninsula with a very short driving distance to the Atlantic. We will definitely try to come back again and bring some friends with us.

House of happiness

We loved staying here and can't wait to return. The house itself is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and laundry. The views of Mt. Brandon from the windows are stunning. It's a great home base for seeing the area, whether you're interested in sea views, walking, archaeological sites, or traditional music. And it's a great place to come home to after a day of exploring!

Relaxing

We loved our stay here. Everything was easy from booking to leaving. The house was very clean and bright with large windows. We had to connect to work in the mornings and the wifi worked so well. We were able to relax and enjoy the area. It is very conveniently located to access the Slea Head drive and a short drive to Dingle. We hope to come back again. Thank you so much!

Beautiful house, quiet area and 10 minutes away from Dingle

Kevin’s house was absolutely amazing and just what we were looking for. It was on the countryside, just minutes away from Dingle town. There were a lot of beautiful areas to see, just minutes from the house. There were five of us staying in the house with lots of space, including two sitting rooms, if you needed to get away for some quiet time or have your morning coffee while looking out at the amazing scenery. There were a lot of windows in the house, letting in a lot of light and great views from everywhere in the house. Anyone looking for a little seclusion, yet, very close to town, this is the place for you. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland. Thanks Kevin, great place!

Wonderful experience on Dingle!

We spent three nights at this house, and it was better than we were expecting even. The house was beautiful and comfortable, and the setting was lovely as well. We thoroughly enjoyed having a washer and a bath as the other self-catering homes we stayed at in UK and Ireland were missing these (and they cost more!). I sat in the sun room and blogged every morning, enjoying the views, and we sat by the fireplace every evening. It was bliss. Dingle town is about a 10-15 minute easy drive away, and the peninsula is gorgeous. We drove Slea Head and did several walks nearby. Kevin was super easy to communicate with and was nice as can be. We accidentally left behind our back up camera and had no way of getting it before we flew back to the States, so he was kind enough to have it mailed to us here, for which I am very grateful :).

AMAZING HOUSE In an AMAZING TOWN

We rented this house for St. Patrick's Day week and we couldn't have felt more welcomed by the neighborhood, or the town. When you stay at this house- you're staying next door to Kevin's brother Danny- who helps with anything you need, and a few houses down from his Mother- who makes sure you have everything you need. The house can't even be explained--it is comfy, but modern, and bright- and the views are OUTSTANDING! Kevin leaves brochures, maps, cab numbers, his number--EVERYTHING you could possibly need. It is the perfect centralized location for all the day trips in this region--Blarney/Cork/Killarney....and the best of all- RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD- Slea Head Drive. Words can't describe how gorgeous this drive is..... Overall- If I could have hidden myself under the bed- I never would have left!! We LOVED this house!

Absolutely wonderful!!!

For our first trip to Ireland, I really wanted the perfect place to stay, and this lovely home was exactly what I was looking for!! We have rented many vacation rentals over many years and our bar is pretty high; this property exceeded our expectations. The floor plan, flooring, colors, furnishings etc all made us feel right at home. The sunroom was my favorite spot. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need for large meal prep or just a cup of coffee/tea. There are lots of details the owner has filled in to ensure the needs of all guests, young,old or in-between, are met. And the setting, oh the setting.....the views from inside (lots of windows on every side) and outside are just awesome. It is so quiet and peaceful. There are cows and sheep in the fields next to the house and a mockingbird sang to us every morning. The owner, Kevin, was so gracious and accommodating and available whenever we had a question. If you are planning a visit to the Dingle Peninsula, this is where you must stay.

Absolutely beautiful location and house!!

We rented the Brandon House for 5 nights in August. Upon arriving Kevin's lovely mother was there to greet us and make us feel welcome. The house is located several kilometers outside of Dingle town close to the little village of Ballydavid. The house is located at the foot of Mt. Brandon with the most amazing views. The house is really quite beautiful, there are windows everywhere and it makes the house seem bright and cheery. The house is modern and comfortable with wonderful amenities. It's a short drive to town but far enough away to enjoy the quiet and peaceful countryside. Unfortunately we were involved in a car accident earlier in our trip which made us miss one night at the house and we were unable to hike Mt Brandon due to sore muscles but we were able to enjoy a short walk down to the dock which has the most unbelievable views! Our only minor complaint was that we were unable to locate additional toilet paper or paper towels when we needed them but perhaps we just didn't look in the right spot. Give yourself more than a couple of days at the house as once you get there you are just going to want to sit in the sun room and read. We hope to return someday to the house and the Dingle penninsula but this time we will definitely get it for longer!

Perfect House and Location on the Dingle Peninsula!

I cannot imagine having a better base for exploring the Dingle Peninsula than this house. It is absolutely gorgeous and so clean you'd think no one else had ever stepped foot inside. It's situated at the very end of a residential road, and as you can see from the pictures, the views are stunning - a stream and Mt. Brandon in the back, a field of sheep out front, the tips of the 3 Sisters can be seen from the front, and mountains towering as you look right from the front as well. The house is very well-furnished with good quality appliances, furniture, kitchen supplies, etc., and none of the shabby things you sometimes find in vacation rentals. Even when the rain kept us from going out we were delighted to stay put in the house...it's that comfortable, the views are that beautiful. There are many hikes and things to explore close to the house [I recommend staying on this side of Mt. Brandon rather than the other side because it's closer to more great drives & hikes and it will save you the time of repeatedly driving over the Conor Pass]. We have small children, and a safety gate, high chair, and travel cot (pack & play) were all provided. You'll find extras everywhere - lots of books, DVD's, candles, and more. Kevin was extremely kind and helpful, and he provided information and suggestions as we requested them. If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful haven where you'll feel like a local and be enveloped in breathtaking scenery, then this is the house for you!!

Unsere erste Irland Reise

Wir hätten keinen besseren Platz für unsere erste Irland Reise finden können. Das Haus ist geräumig, sauber, warm und gemütlich. Wir haben die Ruhe und die Lage sehr genossen. Die Schlüsselübergabe war absolut unkompliziert, besonders nach einer langen und anstrengenden Anfahrt. Die Gegend um das Haus herum war einfach nur traumhaft und wir konnten die wunderschöne Landschaft durch die großen Fenster in jedem Raum genießen. Genau der richtige Ort für Ruhesuchende. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in 15 Minuten zu erreichen.
