Owasco Lake get away

Our family had a blast. The property was amazing. Very clean and modern and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed. The views of the lake were awesom. So cool to watch thunderstorms roll in across the lake, watching the lake transform during the storm. The sunsets on the deck were fantastic. We had great weather and spent most of the day on the lake swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The water is deep at the end of the dock making it great for diving and canon balls. The house had everything you needed to enjoy the outdoors. The fire pit was a nice touch to a long day to make some smores. Lake living is the way to go and we did not want to leave this property.

Relaxing and Comfortable!

We had a great getaway! Lots of rest and relaxation. The home had everything you could ever want. It was extremely comfortable. The dock, deck and fire pit were awesome to spend time outside and share meals together. The lake is quiet and peaceful. Would stay again! The property allows pets which was great for our puppies first vacation! The house was extremely clean. Thank you for having us!

Lake vacation!

Loved the location on the water. It was an amazing sight walking out of the bedroom in the morning and seeing the lake right in front of you! Getting down to the house and back up was not as bad as I expected. They made it the best it could be especially at night with the lighted path and stairs. I would stay again for sure although a more comfortable bed would really be appreciated.

Great Weekend Stay

My friends and I absolutely loved this place! Beautiful spot on the lake with a gorgeous deck, dock and lots of beach area. There were also kayaks and paddle boards to use. The house itself was immaculate and so cozy- the couches and beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Aileen was welcoming and responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely be booking again!

Excellent lake side spot

We loved our stay here! You can't beat the location and the dock right on the water. The house was comfy and well-equipped. There were kayaks to use and a place to rent a pontoon boat. The walk down is steep so if you are handicapped in any way, you may have trouble, but my group of late 40s folks navigated it fine. A great find!

Fantastic Lake Getaway

We had an amazing time. The lake was not overpopulated - away from commercialization. Fishing was great (husband being from England enjoys Carp fishing and was able to right from the dock). Home was updated and had everything we needed. Our host was more than reachable/responsive and gave great recommendations. Looking forward to coming back next summer. Thank you!!

Fantastic Lakeside Getaway

We had a fantastic time and Aileen was very accommodating in terms of allowing our two large dogs to stay. The property was exactly as listed, if not better - clean, cozy, with a fantastic view and access to the lake. Would definitely recommend for others to stay and would plan to return in the future.

Our stay on Owasco Lake was splendid. The lake itself is quiet--very little motor traffic--even on the weekend, which made for perfectly peaceful days and calm nights. The surrounding area is beautiful--farms, rolling hills, small town charm, and if one wants to see and be seen, Skaneateles is close enough. We will most definitely be back.

This is an absolutely beautiful property which was very clean and had everything you could want for a nice family vacation. The owner communicated very well with us and was very accommodating. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations!!!! This is a great place to stay.

What a wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved staying at Aileen’s property. There was plenty of room for our family and we loved being able to bring our 1 year old puppy. Aileen has everything you could ever wish for at their property. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook with and the grill was wonderful. We loved getting to use the dock, paddle boards, and kayaks as well. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us!

The Perfect Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I booked a last minute trip here for an anniversary getaway! This place was the perfect space for us to relax and enjoy the surrounding area. Our dog, loved it as well and even took a dip in the lake! The deck area is wonderful and the kitchen had everything we needed. Aileen was very responsive and the space was clean! The only reason I would not recommend this spot is if you have trouble with steps. We were okay with it and the hosts have the stair area well lit, but could definitely see it being a bit much to handle for someone who is handicapped. If your gams can handle it though, would definitely say the steps are a small price to pay for the killer view!

Great little lake house

The house itself is super cute, great views and couldn’t be closer to the water. Host was quick with responses to my couple questions. We arrived at night and were quite surprised by the amount of stairs down to the cottage. By the end of the weekend it was a running joke, but in all seriousness if my parents had come with us we would have had to find somewhere else to stay. Parts of the steep incline were just wood chips (where it should have been stairs) and everything was covered in leaves making it a little slippery. Wish there was a washer and dryer, and the beds were a little more comfortable. The amenities were great and the kids had a great time paddling around in the kayaks and playing on the swing. Overall a great weekend!

Quiet getaway on Owasco Lake

This home was exactly as described and was exactly what we needed for a vacation. Right on the Lake and very nice. We had everything we needed and would love to come back again. The steps/incline to get down to the home were quite the challenge to get back up since I hurt my leg but it was worth it. Our dog had a blast and met a fish for the first time. The sunsets were beautiful. Not much happening past 5:00 in the evening in October so we were able to see many!

Fall Weekend at the Lake

Perfect fall getaway!!

The lake property is just that, right on the lake. As it was a bit chilly in the evening, we were able to enjoy a warm fire each night. The cottage has everything needed and was exceptionally clean. The area was quiet and we seemed to have the lake to ourselves. Great area for walks without worrying about traffic. The entire family enjoyed our stay!!

Little piece of Heaven

We had a wonderful 5 days staying in this beautiful, clean and updated lake house. Check in was super easy and Alieen was very nice to keep in contact. The Lake views are amazing and sunsets are spectacular. Caught nice size fish off the dock and enjoyed paddle boarding. Our dog Loved swimming everyday ❤️ Enjoyed some wineries and had dinner in Auburn one night. Perfect place for some R &R. Thank you for letting us stay in your little piece of Heaven on Lake Owasco.
