Cozy Cabin for 4 with 2 King beds, 2 full baths, 2 fireplaces and upscale Decor!

Nestled in the woods is Deer Creek Getaway. This two-bedroom, two-full-bath cabin is the perfect place for a mountain getaway. Nicely appointed with two king beds, a fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace in the great room and wood burning fireplace on the welcoming screened porch over looking Deer Creek. Abundant wildlife, fresh air and relaxation await! It's the perfect location for a romantic getaway or a quiet long weekend with friends and family. Explore the creek, koi pond and log lean-to. Or, combine work and relaxation. The cabin has fiber optic cable and wireless internet for quick and easy connections! There is a counter-height table with two stools for lap tops and files. It is conveniently located off of Highway 76 in an upscale, gated community in Morganton, GA. There are loads of restaurants, shops, trails and water recreation opportunities just minutes away in Blue Ridge and Blairsville, Georgia.
For everyone's security there is a ring doorbell beside the front door and a camera to record activity in the driveway. There are no cameras located inside the cabin.

Great stay

The location and amenities of the cabin were excellent. Quite neighborhood with plenty of deer around. Host were great in answering any questions that we had and gave us everything we needed for our stay. 10/10!

Thanksgiving Break

The cabin was very clean and was already decorated for Christmas! There was an amazing outdoor fireplace and screened patio as well as a large fire pit. Property was nice and easy to access. Had a great stay!

A Wonderful Area

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The cabin had everything that we needed and was very clean. We saw deer every day from our front door. We are looking forward to coming back in the future.

Nice property, nice community

Drive up had me very nervous, the weeds and grass were overgrown from the driveway to the right of the entrance down to the firepit. Curb appeal is greatly reduced. (I have pics in case you are unaware). I brought wood for the firepit as we were looking forward to using it but it wasn't an option. Once inside our spirits lifted as it was nicely appointed, modern and roomy as described. YouTube TV is a nice touch. The towels need to be replaced, serious holes in one. The screened in porch needed a good cleaning, the table and cushions had not been addressed recently. Overall, nice property but with the fall upon us, the outside maintenance really needs to be addressed to enjoy the full experience.

Relaxation at its best

We enjoyed our second stay at Deer Creek just as much as our first stay and have recommended it to family and good friends for a very comfortable, relaxing atmosphere with just 20 mins. from restaurants, shopping, or kayaking.

Deer Creek Getaway

The photos on the VRBO listing does not do this cabin justice. It was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for rest & relaxation from the hustle bustle of regular life. The cabin is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. No other cabins were visible from Deer Creek cabin. The wild life that visits this cabin everyday was in abundance and a wonderful experience. Most of our time for a week was spent at the cabin. We did not plan this vacation around the hustle bustle of the small towns near by. We’ve been to this area several times in the past. We were just looking for a quiet vacation. Deer Creek Getaway delivered that exact thing. A week was surely not enough… but we had to return back to the real world. This will definitely not be our only vacation to this cabin. We will return there for several more vacations in the future. From the first moment of booking this cabin to the last moment of leaving… it was extremely easy and we had no problems at all. Everything that was needed in the cabin was there. The only time we left cabin was a trip to the grocery store and a quick trip to Blue Ridge for the kids souvenirs. If you are looking for the best vacation … this is the cabin you want! Great mountain getaway

This property was awesome. The pictures do not do it justice. Gated community and great location. Very private, well appointed, convenient and more than expected. So much to do in the area and a nice retreat to come back. Comfortable, cozy and relaxing. Highly recommend. Owners were great with instruction and directions. Will stay again.

Birthday celebration

Life long friends with a passion for wine tasting. Cabin was very comfortable and we loved the split floor plan. The main master bathroom shower needs more water pressure or a hand-held shower head. Otherwise, everything was perfect, clean & very comfortable. We loved the interior (gas) fireplace and used it everyday since it was chilly. We missed using the exterior fireplace because, it was rather cold outside.

A very Merry Christmas

Had a great time and got to celebrate Christmas with family. Enjoyed making S’mores in the outdoor fireplace. Our house was full of moving boxes and absent of Christmas decorations. Tom and Keli took the time to decorate the cabin that included a tree when I told them why we were coming. The scenery around the cabin is gorgeous and saw lots of deer around the cabin and the road coming in. Walked around downtown Blue Ridge Christmas Eve and ate lunch at Fighting Town Tavern, which I would highly recommend. We are planning a trip back in the fall.

First Getaway For The Parents

We decided to bring my parents on a getaway for Thanksgiving week. They had not been out in over 3 years. Everything about this stay was top notch! The cabin is immaculate. The property stunning and full of wildlife visitors. The communication with our host was always responded to quickly. We loved our time at the cabin so much we actually cancelled day trip plans to hang out on the property and enjoy the fireplaces. My parents raved the entire trip home about how enjoyable it was. Highly recommend this property and the wonderful hosts.

Love the location

This mountain getaway was for me, my husband and my 88 year old mother-in-law. This was the perfect cabin as everything was on one floor. We loved the location. Although you are in a gated neighborhood, we did not see houses around us. We were fortunate to see a number of deer in the yard. We really enjoyed the outdoor fireplace. That was where we spent most of our time when we were in the cabin.

Peaceful Paradise

We had such a wonderful time at this cabin this was our second time we have stayed here and it won't be the last . Everything was clean and decorated so well. The beds are very comfortable. The outdoor porch with the outdoor fireplace was our favorite place to be. And getting to see the deer was so much fun, Tom and Keli are the perfect host . We give this cabin a 10 star rating.

Little slice of heaven

This cabin was even nicer in person than it was looking at pictures online. So very incredibly clean and organized. Nice and secluded, very quiet and peaceful and beautiful woods surrounding. My wife and I‘s favorite thing to do in the afternoon was to sit on the back porch enjoying nature and watch the deer come through. We had zero issues and loved the stay at this cabin and will definitely return. Communicating with Tom was simple and easy.

Perfect Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The property was very secluded. The cabin was exactly what we were looking for and more. The beds were very comfortable. Loved the outdoor fireplace. Peaceful retreat

Everything was spotless. The back porch was incredible. Super comfy beds. Was worried we would feel like we were in a neighborhood but absolutely not. Secluded and quiet. The only thing I wouldn’t give a 5 star rating for is the couch and chairs. There is nothing wrong with them but I prefer a more comfy settle down in and relax style recliner and couch. Would definitely rent again.

Serenity at Deer Creek

From the moment I clicked on submit to schedule a weekend in the Blue Ridge area, I was completely satisfied with the booking process, response from owners and the cabin with all of it’s amenities. It was perfect! Directions to enter cabin sent ahead of time were perfect with no mishaps or hiccups. Loved the cleanliness of the property both inside and the grounds. Kitchen was well stocked with all the tools to prepare any meal or open any bottle. Extras like seasonings, Keurig coffee pods, and cleaning supplies for dishes and laundry made the cabin feel like home away from home. All the little notes left around the cabin left no doubt about how to control things. When we were there, it rained almost continuously. We took advantage of the outdoor fireplace on the porch Thanks for the wood to get us started. We bought two additional bundles and spent the majority of our time on the porch. Too perfect for damp rainy days where we relaxed with friends who stopped by to enjoy the scenery of the nature and watch the species of birds who flew around to partake from the number of bird feeders in the back yard. From the rocking chairs on the front porch to the table and chairs on the back, we really loved Deer Creek. Our friends loved our selection of cabin so much compared to the one they chose in another nearby area, they want to join us next time at Deer Creek. We took advantage of the peace and quiet, enjoyed reading a book while breathing in the fresh mountain air. My husband and I are already thinking about when we can go back to enjoy this secluded cabin in that beautiful gated community. Peaceful Paradise

This cabin was wonderful , it was clean and comfortable . The beds were great ,plenty of hot water for showers .And the screened in back porch was the best. We even got to have a fire in the outdoor fireplace. The scenery was beautiful seen 3 deer come through while sitting on the back porch . It rained a lot while we were there but it was wonderful sitting there and listening to the rain and relaxing.. Check in with Tom was so easy and he was so polite and helpful.. We seen a lot of deer as we went out to get some dinner. There was 4 of us two older brothers and their wife's. We have never been on a trip together . But we had so much fun laughing and cutting up . This cabin was the perfect place for us . We stayed on the back porch the biggest part of the time enjoying nature. We give this cabin and it's owners a 10 plus .Thank you for renting to us. And Lord welling we would like to come back sometime. We enjoyed it better than staying in Pigeon Forge . I grew up hiking and camping in the mountains and forests in the Appalachians and Rockies. Our discovery of the Blue Ridge area goes back to the 1990s, beginning with a cub-scout weekend in a cabin that I would have loved to own. My wife and I began looking for the right property years ago before finding the perfect little getaway. We have made this cabin what we have always wanted, knowing that people we share it with, including you, friends and family will appreciate the same great features. My wife and I have owned multiple properties for years; i work with folks in construction and she has done kitchen, bath and general remodeling and upgrading and decorating for decades. We apply all of our experience with what guests enjoy to making this a comfortable and beautiful home. We hope you will love your stays at Deer Creek Getaway for years to come !

We love the area and this neighborhood! Its so close to everything we love to do including enjoying the outdoors, wildlife viewing, hiking, off-road driving, shopping and eating out. When we walked in the front door of this cabin it took only a minute to know we wanted it to be ours! It's the perfect size, all one-floor and has a beautiful secluded view of the woods.

The combination of a wooded view, small creek, fire pit and two fireplaces are just some of the wonderful amenities of this property. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, the open-concept great room and kitchen are perfect for relaxing and dining. Outside the screened porch with the fireplace is perfect for enjoying a nice meal together or watching the cardinals, hummingbirds, deer, and wild turkeys that visit on a regular basis! Another great feature is that this house is secluded and quiet yet an easy drive just off the Appalachian Highway. The property is off of a paved road and with only a short drive on a gravel road to our paved road.
