Couldn’t have been happier
We loved the location and convenience of this property. The condo was clean and the view of the ocean from the lanai was perfect. Would love to stay there again. Would just like to see the flooring updated from carpet to laminate flooring. It other than that, we loved it.

The condo was in a great location and had a beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and ate every meal there. It was clean, and had a nicely stocked kitchen. Even though it did not have AC, it did have 1 oscillating fan that we took to bed at night.

I read many reviews about this unit and others. Thecolace exceeded expectations with my title. The internet was fast and lots to stream. I want to buy them a pizza wheel when i come back! Some positive feedback would be the lanai doors are old and ready for new. The shutters are pretty damaged...but it was still no worries. I hope they would want us back. I straightened out every picture and picked up some litter that blew around the place from the storm. I hope they consider re opening the designated smoking/vaping area that is very nice and safe. We stood on the street for that and we met a number of homeless and my wife sprained her toe going up and down the steep driveway. All in it was a great time and old kuaii vibe!

Magical time in Kauia
This place was great centrally located and had an amazing ocean view you can’t beat for the price. Also has access to 2 beaches just steps away with beaches chairs, towels and cooler provided. The pool was great at the end of the evening. We’ll stay again if we’re back! Thank you so much!

Very nice location
The check in and communication was excellent. View of the beach was great! Location was in the middle of the island and was easy to drive to each side of the island. The only complaint would be the shutters in the bedroom did not close. Could not leave windows open with shutters closed for privacy.

Information on cost was quoted as $235/night, however with a variety of additional taxes, processing fees, reservations fee, safely trust insurance fee, cleaning fees the cost doubled per night. An accurate cost should be given up front.

WBV Aloha
WBV #107 is a very nice unit, well furnished and appointed, with a very comfortable bed. I'm very familiar with this small condo building and enjoy the low key, non tourist vibe with a great ocean front location. My only comments would be to upgrade the bedroom windows for better insulation and noise reduction. Other than that will look forward to returning! Mahalo!

Centrally located to all of island. Walking distance to many restaurants including brewery (great food) , bakery, Lava Lava ( great food and views), Coconaut Marketplace. Lydgate Park fanatastic and super close. Comfortable furnishings, well stocked, chairs, cooler. Great views from lanai.

Wonderful Place
This was our first time in Kauai. We were a bit hesitant as it is close tot he road, but you cannot hear any traffic at all. You are close enough to the surf that you can hear the surf! Amazing Sunrises just off the lanai. We would definitely stay here again.

There’s better out there
Eh I should’ve paid more attention to the reviews. There’s a lot in this unit I can name that needs attention but the obvious would be AC. You lose complete privacy with having the windows and doors ( screens open all the time) to cool the unit. It is also a seasoned community and wouldn’t suggest any couples younger than 70 unless you want to feel harassed and out of place. There’s a lot of random rules 1. Quiet times which is great but ( not sure how to remain quiet with an open air unit for everyone to poke into). 2 clothes on balcony ( I got a letter 2nd day stating no towels were allowed on balcony to dry) quite hilarious because the only way to see my towels would’ve been physically looking over the railing which isn’t in plain view, again, kind of ridiculous when you just want to dry your clothes without having to put them in a dryer. Unit also has a sewage smell coming out of toilet area and is more prevalent when washing clothes. Sink has a leak, paint chips, clear indicators this unit probably housed individuals from the Cold War but was never remodeled after. There’s a laundry list of fixes this unit needs but number 1. Is privacy. And for the price of this unit I’d rather get a tent.

A few things to know...
We had a good stay and there are a few things that would have been nice to know. My mistake was not looking at Google earth to see how close the highway was to the condo apartment. Old style lever windows did not block out the traffic noise at night and there was no A/C (I knew this beforehand) to block out the street noise. A/C would also have been nice to reduce the humidity as the carpet seemed damp upon our arrival. Here are some additional items that could have been repaired: The screen doors and the glass sliding door opening to the covered deck required brut force to open and close. The old lever windows mentioned earlier were stuck in the 'open' position. Kitchen faucet did not pivot and it required a precise location of the handle to stop the water flow. Light above the sink didn't work. Only 4 nice plates, the remainder were plastic, so we never used the dishwasher. Meanwhile, the on-site support staff were friendly and efficient and kept the grounds neat and the pool clean. Conclusion: It's not about the support staff, the owner needs to step-up and make some improvements. After all, the hurricane was YEARS ago and the place needs some basic repairs.

Perfect location
This was the perfect location to get to any part of the island. The condo is well equipped, great view of the ocean and a restful balcony to have breakfast, dinner and cocktails. Only feedback is better pillows in the bedroom. Also folks need to know that there is a fair amount of noise from the road that can be heard in the bedroom late evening and early morning.
