Whip up delicious dishes in the well-equipped kitchen, configured with a full suite of appliances and ample counter space.

Additional perks include central AC, a private washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi. The adjacent San Luis Pass County Park features a sandy beach as well as a convenient boat ramp. Galveston’s shops and attractions provide a family-friendly day trip.

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great house great location
House was super clean. Easy to use the canal and dock. Master bedroom and bathroom are big but the 2 other bedrooms and the 2nd upstairs bathroom are very small and awkward shaped. The downstairs bathroom and outdoor shower make up for the small upstairs bathroom. And are very nice to have.

This place was a waste of money
When we arrived the house was 95 degrees, notes about keeping the temp set to 77 yet all the intake vents were black - had not been changed in years, the other vents were all black as well from the dirty filter, showers were gross - mold/mildew, kitchen had roaches, door handle fell off, dishwashers was full, water had constant air in line.

Dirty and not well maintained
I have stayed at many places in my life and several in this area. This location photographs well but is a far cry from what is represented. It is infested with roaches- in drawers, crawling on the ceilings, and heard scratching through the walls at night. When you leave they ask you to strip the beds of linens. One of the beds we stripped and between the sheet and mattress pad I found what appears to be a louse. This was the bed my 86 year old mother was sleeping in- pretty bad to have to tell your mother to check for crabs. The flooring is not properly placed- looks like sheet vinyl that was just cut and placed- not secured. It creaks and pops with every step and is bunched up and buckled in areas. The place was DIRTY. The silverware was not clean (aside from the cockroaches crawling around in the drawer). Several bowls, cups, and plates looked like they were replaced in the cabinets dirty. The coffee pot had old coffee in the water chamber and needed several pots of water running through it to de-gunk it. The dishwasher has a separate switch to power on the wall, but there was NO communication about that and the handyman had to be called. The property lists 3 bathrooms but there are only 2 in the main living space. We learned on our last day the 3rd bathroom is actually in the garage- which we did not even know we had access to. The main bathroom’s shower pan is cracked. There is mold and mildew. The second bathroom’s shower pan is damaged. There are some crazy poc

Rats & Roaches poor communication
Rats got into our trash inside the house, water bugs and roaches were in and out like they owned the place. We tried to get late check out thru the emailed they sent, but it would not process. Called and they hung up in the middle of the call. They didn't call back. We were busy so I called back next day, they would not allow late check out. The back door was also open when we got there. Over all not a good experience. I've never rented with Vacasa never will again.

Great House!
Our stay was great, we are definitely coming back in the future. Everything we needed was there. The only thing I would change are the door locks in the restroom and shower, there were hard to lock. The over all experience was a 10/10. I am definitely recommending this house. House was clean and the back patio was very nice.

Great place to stay
Stayed here over Thanksgiving with the family. Great house, lots of kitchen space, huge deck and porch areas, kids had a great time fishing off our dock and caught some fish. Beautiful view in a nice neighborhood. Close beach access. We really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely go back. Vacasa was wonderful to work with. Friendly and amazing customer service.

Not what we expected
Be aware Check in time is 4 pm, all other places are usually 3pm. The check in process was easy. The house needed major work, floor was damaged & linoleum was bubbling in kitchen & dining area. Major tripping hazards in areas where it was coming up. Pictures showed 3 decks, however 1 was damaged & boarded up. There were 2 boat lifts but only 1 worked & only front end lift works. Back cable will shock you. The Ice maker & water dispenser was not working on freezer door. Kitchen drawers had Mice droppings in silverware & dishes. Bottom of Day bed in master bedroom was broken & laying on floor. Master shower had Mold & long hairs in shower & on commode. Also found dirty towels left in downstairs shower. TVs would not work rebooted system but said system maintenance required. We did contact VACASA upon arrival & they sent repairman out to check ice maker ( wasn’t hooked up at all & couldn’t fix it) Maintenance couldn’t fix tvs or ice maker, was aware of daybed & floor issues. Maintenance was very friendly. Vacasa repeatedly said they would call us but never heard from them. I also emailed them as they requested but no response. 2nd night sitting in living room & several huge wood roaches crawled across the floor in kitchen. Granted it was raining but wasn’t impressed with cleanliness of house. FYI check out was at 10am, so it just felt like our time was cut short. Overall I would not recommend going through VACASA. We prefer VRBO only & dealing with owners not with VACASA.

Spacious home with large wrap around deck
This was a beautiful home with much more room than expected. This spacious home provided plenty of room for my 5 grandkids and their parents. Boat docks were very nice as well, it was simple to dock our 28ft pontoon boat and the many large deck areas ensured that there was plenty of shaded areas to fish from during the days. Finally, the fishing right off the deck was great as well, several huge fish caught and my grandkids loved it so much they actually got up early everyday to fish. I highly recommend this home for any large families, plenty of comfortable beds for everyone and is very well stocked with extra bedding.

Family time.
This was our first time renting from Vacasa / VRBO. Upon arrival, there was a door off the hinges. I texted vacasa and within 30 minutes it was fixed. Impeccable customer service. Check in and check out we’re very easy. Home is just as advertised. What a fabulous way to spend our weekend. I will certainly rent from here again. Thank you.

Nice home.
The home was clean and well stocked for a good vacation. The kids loved the large downstairs area to play under the house. The only problems we had were 1. That the listing stated "cable tv" twice in listing and the cable would not work despite or best efforts to reset box, ect. We contacted Vacasa about this and they said they would pass it on to the local office to have it fixed asap and just never heard from them again so unfortunately we had to watch an important game on a cell phone because Vacasa was absolutely NO HELP. 2. (Some may not care about this but I feel like I should share in case you do) one of the secondary bedrooms opens up to the living room at the top of the separating wall. So while you cannot see anything, you can hear everything which bothered a couple of our guests. We had a great time fishing non stop for 3 days but unfortunately only caught 2 catfish which I'm sure was due to the colder/windy weather. We had a good time but probably wouldn't stay in a Vacasa rental again.

Thankful for Fishing
As repeat customers we know and love the property and neighborhood. The house fits us well and we love the fishing right off the bulkhead! Definitely our favorite type of trip so much so that we celebrated Thanksgiving there this year. We are so thankful we got to spend the holiday with our family in such a wonderful home!

Wonderful home not so good management
The home is beautiful and spacious right on the water but trying to communicate with Vacasa is like talking to a black hole, all you hear is your eco. Absolutely non responsive and just absent. I would not recommend renting a house with them again, feel bad for the owner

Easter Getaway
Loved the house, it was perfect for our family. Treasure Island is one of our favorite spots to visit, so we have been to the area multiple times. This time was no different and we had a great time relaxing, fishing and enjoying time with each other. The house in particular was great. It was very comfortable and had all the comforts we needed to unwind and relax. We spent most of our time outdoors fishing and crabbing off the bulkhead, and the outdoor space was perfectly suited for our needs. We’ll definitely be back to the area soon and I would rent this place again anytime it’s available. We had a great time!
