This property is located in the small residential community of the Smoky Mountain Retreat at Ridgewood Estates. It is one of only 4 short term rentals in the community of only 40 homes, the majority of which are full-time residents. Rental homes are part-time rental for several months of the year they are owner occupied.

No parties or events allowed.
You have to disclose any additional visitors in advance and there is $250 deposit.
Quiet Hours: 9:00 pm - 7:00 am. This is a "mountain community" and noise carries throughout the area.
This is a peaceful neighborhood. If there is an issue with noises or more than 6 adults in the cabin you may be subject to eviction.
No pets allowed!
3 passenger vehicles max (includes motorcycles).
No oversized vehicles. No campers or RVs. No trailers of any kind.
No rearranging furniture.
No more than six adults.
No smoking inside the property, if smoking outside please dispose of the butts properly! Do not toss into the yard or driveway.
Ridgewood Estates is comprised of 50 acres developed into 50 homesites and lies on the southern edge of Waynesville, N.C. It is within the city limits and has all of the city services including sewer and water. The streets are paved and easy to drive.
Most of the home sites have outstanding views – Many have views of the Blue Ridge Parkway, which lies 7-8 miles in the distance. The community has a children’s playground, tennis courts, a basketball goal, and a central location for cookouts around a campfire.
This was the first Smoky Mountain Retreat to be developed and now has a variety of completed log homes nestled among the heavily wooded sites. Wild turkey and grouse still share the habitat of this pristine community along with many other interesting forest natives.
