Dieses neue Haus wurde individuell gebaut und befindet sich auf einem 5 Hektar großen Grundstück auf einem Hügel, nur 20 Minuten von Ski Windham und 20 Minuten vom Hunter Mountain oder etwa 25 Minuten von den Skipisten von Bellayre entfernt.

Unser Haus ist mit einem Holzofen und einem großen Steinkamin einladend, um Sie nach einem kalten Tag auf der Piste aufzuwärmen. Alle Erholungs- und Wohnbereiche sind geräumig, alle neuen Möbel schaffen eine ländliche Atmosphäre und bieten gleichzeitig einige "Cheats" des modernen Komforts. In unseren Schlafzimmern mit Queen-Size-Betten, einem ausziehbaren Schlafsofa und Futons im Wohnbereich können Sie sich erfrischen. Sie bieten zusätzliche Schlafmöglichkeiten.

Das Küchendesign ist ein offener Boden mit viel Platz für zu viele Köche! Die Waschmaschine und der Trockner befinden sich in einem separaten Schrank, der nicht sichtbar ist, um Sie nicht an die tägliche Arbeit zu erinnern.

Der Balkon befindet sich direkt neben dem Wohnzimmer und bietet Zugang zum "Millionen-Dollar-Blick" der umliegenden Berge (nehmen Sie unser Wort dafür, die Bilder machen es NICHT richtig). Der Erholungsbereich im Erdgeschoss ist hübsch eingerichtet und verfügt über eine große Bar, einen Tischfußballtisch und einen großen Sitzbereich vor einem großen Steinkamin. Wir haben alles, was Sie brauchen, um eine tolle Zeit zu verbringen und die Catskills zu genießen.

Hunter und Windham sind malerische kleine Dörfer mit einer Vielzahl von Geschäften und Galerien sowie gemütlichen Restaurants, in denen Sie eine warme Mahlzeit genießen können. Machen Sie einen kurzen Stopp auf der Route 23 und sammeln Sie an einem der vielen frischen Bauernhofstände natürliches Obst und Gemüse. Windham bietet einen fantastischen Golfplatz, der sich in den Bergen versteckt. Minigolf und eine Go-Cart-Bahn sind in der Nähe für diejenigen, die keine Punkte halten! Die Grand Gorge ist nur 5 Minuten entfernt und bietet noch mehr Aufregung.

Unser Haus befindet sich in Prattsville, etwa 12 - 13 Meilen von Hunter und gleich weit von Windham entfernt. Perfekte Lage, wenn Sie während Ihrer Reise beide Berge erkunden möchten. Drei der Schlafzimmer befinden sich im Erdgeschoss. Es gibt eine Master Suite im Obergeschoss mit eigenem Bad und das fünfte Schlafzimmer ist im Keller neben dem Barbereich, hat kein Fenster. Es gibt drei Badezimmer, zwei mit Dusche und eines mit Badewanne. Auf jeder Ebene des Hauses befindet sich ein Badezimmer.

View and house are excellent, amenities not as expected

View and overall house/appliances etc were great. Upkeep of house was not great - dusty and dirty surfaces, no linens for pullouts or extra blankets anywhere, no games as listing specified. Wood burning stove was packed with ash to the point of not being usable. Driveway (steep) was not plowed after snow and there was no ice melt/salt for walkways. Not enough toilet paper was stocked for our stay.With a bit more focus on the amenities and upkeep/renter experience this would be an excellent stay. As is it was ok.

Boys Book Club Retreat

Eight of us stayed over a three day weekend. Great place! Lovely area and we had nice weather! Most of us stayed at the house the whole time except for a trip out for lunch one day. Lots of eating, discussion, ad game playing. But some went out for a bit of hiking and bicycling.

Relaxed weekend at Catskills

Our group of three families had a good weekend stay at the house. The place was clean and well set for a comfortable stay. Owner shared information very well and we did not have to worry about anything at all. Great place. Thanks.

Not clean

Well the fire place and stove was never cleaned out there was dirty towel and clothes in downstairs bathroom and bugs so I can assume it was not cleaned so we never used .there was now pot holder’s and hand towels fir the bathroom.I had to clean all the pans before we used food and fat in them. There was still coffee and grinds in the coffee pot . Garbage pail was broken. I cleaned upstairs bathroom sink I think it was toothpaste toilet seat in that bathroom was falling off . So dark there were bulbs out in the highhat s that we had to put a lamp on the table to play a game . Said sleeps 14 but only 4or 5 can sit in living room 1couch and 1chair .down stairs no tv I went and out and bought one for the kids . Futon in 5th bedroom should not be considered a bed , like sleeping on a board . Also no vegetables peeler and only 1big pot . Location was beautiful but for the money I expected more. Oh forgot the mouse droppings in the cabinets . I would fire the cleaning crew!

The scenery was spectacular. The wood burning stove was cozy on cool fall nights. The accommodations were fine, although the fifth bedroom downstairs was deficient in that it didn't have a full bed, only a futon. The property accommodated our group of ten well, from which we enjoyed many regional sites (West Point, Baseball Hall of Fame, fall colors, etc.).

Beautiful home!

As usual, everything was perfect at the home. We go back each year for a long weekend. Plenty of room. Love the fireplaces and the outdoor fire pit. The new outdoor table is a great addition, as is the new side porch.

FunTimes for a Party of 80!

We celebrated a milestone 80th birthday with the extended family. There was more than enough space to accommodate us. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils, pots, pans and platters to support entertaining. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. I recommend this house for get-together. Bonifacio

Come for the view, stay for the fun

This is a great house to enjoy; the hosts are extremely thoughtful appointing their house with all of the items needed to enjoy a visit. The kids instantly gravitated to the best foosball table I have ever played on. There are two very large social areas to congregate in with large gatherings. All of the bedrooms were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the necessities. Ample firewood, a spacious propane grill on a covered porch. A small fire ring on the outside; a wood stove and another fireplace on the inside. Loved the outdoors and wooden decor. My large family really enjoyed our stay; Anna is very responsive and accommodating as a host. We really felt welcome and was eagerly looking forward to our stay; every hope and dream was realized. We are very appreciative and you will be too.

Beautiful home, spectacular view, and a wonderful place to build lasting memories with our family!

We had never been to the Catskills as a family, but the 8 of us were extremely happy to have found this location for our weekend getaway. The house is beautiful and well maintained, secluded on a wooded hilltop with a stunning mountain view. The house is most certainly and aptly decorated with a ski lodge motif, but the owner has done so with some noticeable charm and elegance. The living room and kitchen area is spacious and comfortable. Not at all to imply that they are too small, the bedrooms are cozy, quiet and designed for a good nights sleep. It’s worth mentioning that our group included my 3 yr old twin grandkids; not only am I grateful that the owner welcomed kids, but the lower level room provided ample play space as well as some “kid vehicles”. This was a big hit. Although this house seems suited for any season, it’s sure to be a tremendous find for skiers and the like. With the exception of the WiFi being out of commission ( a very minor inconvenience for us, but perhaps not to other guests) everything was fully functional and met or exceeded our expectations. The owner was very responsive to my questions and the entire payment transaction, including a very prompt deposit return, was simple and flawless. The location was ideal for us. Our trip was centered on zip lining on Hunter Mt and this location gave us an easy 20 min drive to get there. As it happened, rain forced us to change our initial plans, but we were only an hour from Howe Caverns. So we were able to salvage the day with a fun excursion and still go zip-lining the following morning. All in all we loved our stay and wished it could have been longer. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back to this house again and we would highly recommend it to others. Kindly, Mark

Great house with an amazing view

The house is very private and has views that are amazing. The pictures don't do justice to what you will see at any point in the day. The house was extremely clean and was well stocked. We lived the fact that all 12 guests could eat at the kitchen table together. The owner is very responsive to questions and clearly shows a love for her property. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend!

Wonderful place to stay

We are so glad that we took a little autumn get away. This house was the best place for the weekend get away we could imagine. Everything was perfect! This is a beautiful new house. We enjoyed eating meals with great view through the huge windows and hiking in the area. Rooms were spotless. We can't wait to go there again.

Great weekend getaway

My family rented this house for a weekend getaway. It was great to get away from NYC and have 13 people comfortably into one house. The property was clean and all linens provided. Anna was very responsive to all questions and I would definitely recommend staying here!

Perfection Every time!!

My family and friends stayed this year during the winter recess in February. This was our second stay at the house and we were even more excited this year than the prior. The house has plenty to comment on, from the open floor plan, to the upstairs master loft, to the awesome fireplace, to the downstairs bar and radiant floor heating. I could go on and on but you will only truly appreciate this place if you make the trip. The town of Prattsville has a liquor store, grocery store, dinner and a local pub the "Prattsville Tavern", all which i highly recommend you visit. The proximity to Windham Mountain is perfect, maybe 12 or so minutes from the mountain. I have already booked our vacation next year for February at the house and will continue to do so in the future. I cannot say enough good things about the owners both Anna and Paul, they are responsive and attentive to your needs. Whether you prefer to communicate via e-mail or phone they respond quickly and look to solve any problem. I could go on and on about the house and the surrounding area, if your interested in having a great time in a great house in a great location, book a week and you will not be disappointed. Anna and Paul, thank you very much for your hospitality and should you ever want to sell the house please let me know, its an easy decision for me.

Perfect House in a Perfect Location!!

My family and I stayed in this house this past July. The house is beautifully constructed, tastefully decorated and immaculately neat and clean. The location is great. There are plenty of activities to do with a family in the summer. If you like hiking, swimming, zip lining or just relaxing and taking in the amazing views in the area, this house is close to it all. The house is spacious and the kitchen has all of the amenities needed to cook in each night, as we did. Most importantly, communication with the owners from the initial inquiry until our departure was always pleasant, easy, helpful and informative. I recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing, worry-free holiday.

Excellent Escape from NYC

Stayed at this house with a group of 12 and everyone had a great time. The house was clean and large enough that we didn't feel like we were constantly on top of each other. Large windows and fireplaces on both the main and lower level allowed people to spread out and still enjoy everything about the location. The house had a refrigerator in the kitchen and behind the bar so we were able to pick up all of our supplies on one trip and enjoy the rest of the weekend without issue. We spent most of our time during the day outside playing games, hiking, and generally enjoying the view. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful during the entire process and the person that maintains the house was helpful while we there. Two notes for future renters to be aware of: (1) there is no wifi; (2) The is no way to play an ipod so bring your own. There was a CD player and a radio, so we had some background noise, but I would highly recommend bringing your own music source.

Great House for Oktoberfest

I stayed here with a group of 10 for one of the Hunter Oktoberfest weekends. The house was perfect for us, there is plenty of room and the house is very nice. The bar downstairs was a great place to hang out and we really enjoyed the beautiful views.The owners are very easy to deal with and our experience was very positive. I would definitely recommend this house.
