Greens Cay on Lake Hartwell is pet-friendly and a water-lover's dream; it sleeps 12 in four bedrooms and two living areas and offers an amazing view, covered deck, grill, yard, deep-water dock with slip and swing, beach, and plenty of peace and quiet.

Sitting directly on the shores of Lake Hartwell, Greens Cay is a completely remodeled and updated 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom ranch home with finished basement. Inside on the main floor, there are two living areas each with smart TV and a sleeper sofa. A full kitchen, washer and dryer, ½ bath, and even a warm-water dog rinse and fireplace round out the inside amenities. Also on the main floor are two bedrooms, each with queen beds, smart TVs, and a full bathroom between them.

Outside the main level is an oversized, half-covered deck that features a table and chairs for dining al fresco, a large propane grill, a super comfortable sectional couch with ottoman, and the most stunning lake view on Hartwell.

Our lower level can only be accessed from the outside and features two sleeping areas: one with a queen bed and the other with twin beds plus a full sized bathroom. Note that you must cross through the queen bed area to access the bathroom.

The deck has steps to the ground and the lower level opens to a patio and then to the backyard which slopes gently to the water. A paved, lighted walkway with railing takes you to a beach area (great for beach fires at night), single-slip dock (guest boats or rental boats welcome), a swing, and lounge chairs. We’re in a great deep-water location so the fishing is excellent, and you’ll have fun on the water with our paddleboard.

For off the water fun, we have a cornhole set and bikes for guests to enjoy.

Located about 90 minutes north of Atlanta, 60 minutes from the University of Georgia, and 45 minutes from Clemson University, Greens Cay on Lake Hartwell is the ideal location to host your next getaway.

Primary renter must be at least 25 years old, and up to 3 pets are welcome for a nominal fee. Book today with just $250 deposit.

Lake house with a view

A great property with a wonderful view of the lake. Nearby boat ramp at Rock Springs is easily accessible, allowing you to bring your own boat as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

We had a great time at your beautiful lake house! The views were amazing. The teens loved staying in the lower level rooms. The house is well stocked and comfortable. We spent the days lounging on the huge patio, swimming in the lake, and sunbathing on the dock.

Family vacation

The house was great for our annual family vacation! The living and kitchen/ dining areas were very open and roomy. The porch was lovely. The only downside was that you had to exit the house to get to the downstairs bedrooms and bath, but unless it was raining, this wasn't really an issue during our stay. Very nice location, and excellent beach area!! The owner's communication before, during and after our stay was really nice.

Family time by the Lake

Our family loved our time in your home. A few minor suggestions: Water pressure is low, we did not see a kayak (could be due to storm but it would have been helpful to know ), a cookie sheet would be helpful in the kitchen, and we did not have laundry detergent to start towels when we left this morning. Overall, excellent!! Just a few minor details.

Wonderful family vacation

We had a great week and could not have been more satisfied with the house! The home was very well stocked with everything you need and plenty of room for everyone! Great house!

This home is clean and well kept and supplied. The neighborhood is quiet and private yet very comfortable knowing nice homes and neighbors are nearby. It was too cold to enjoy the lake and toys but I’m sure would be a blast in the summer months. Gorgeous view too!

Perfect Family Getaway

This property was the perfect Fall getaway for my family! We enjoyed the spacious living areas and oversized covered porch. With the grill on the deck and a kitchen that was stocked with utensils for our cooking needs--we never left the property all weekend. The swing on the dock is a nice area to relax. The kids enjoyed the provided paddle board and we loved having our own sandy beach area. The property was only minutes from Harbor Light Marina, so it was simple to drive over by boat. Overall, a wonderful, relaxing weekend and perfect family getaway!

Lake Hartwell long weekend.

Purpose to attend football game @Clemson. Rented boat and enjoyed some lake time. The house was very clean and had a very nice dock to use. Just to clarify for future renters. There is one full bathroom in the house and a 1/2 bath. There is another area you access from back of house with 3 beds and a small older bathroom. For teen boys this would be a good hang out for them. Had a great time!

Hidden little treasure!

We booked for two weeks. Don't let the size of the front of the house fool you! Once you walk into this home the amazing views of the lake from all the main areas of the home will blow you away! The beach area, dock, lake and covered back porch is where we spent 90% of our time. We enjoyed evening fires on the beach for making smores with the little ones and hanging out. The covered deck offered a nice outdoor comfortable alternative for those that just want to relax and read while still enjoying the amazing views of the lake and family activities on the beach, lake and dock. The home has a lot of living space and is tastefully decorated with plenty of quality linen, comfortable beds, stylish comfortable furniture, a fully stocked kitchen, and high-end appliances. It was pet friendly for my uncle and his Westie companion that traveled from Pennsylvania to spend time with us. Check in was a breeze and the hosts are very responsive to any questions you may have. The dock accommodated our 22ft Bowrider very easily. Definitely as great place to stay!

Quick Getaway for our Anniversary

We only live about an hour and a half from this property… but it was like we were miles and miles away.. We picked up groceries on our way up and never had to leave the whole weekend! Everything you need to cook or grill is in that kitchen! Big smart tv’s in every bedroom and living room. Convenient walk in shower, and zero entry into main level with the kitchen, 2 living areas and 2 bedrooms, perfect for our handicapped teen! It was nice to have a dock we could use when my nephew came to visit with his boat. Planning on coming back for sure!

Amazing family vacation!

We decided to take a family vacation and happened upon this property when we googled lake houses. Since there were 12 of us, we chose this one. We could not have been more satisfied with the house itself and the location. We were able to bring the boat and two kayaks, but there were also two other kayaks and a paddle board! The beach area was great, the dock was awesome and our family enjoyed a full week of fun. The downstairs area with the separate rooms/bathroom was perfect to split up the sleeping arrangements (we had 4 “families” between us). With two rooms and pullout couches upstairs, it worked out so well and we all had plenty of room to relax after long lake days. I would definitely recommend this property (and the owner’s other property close by) because they certainly delivered on an unforgettable vacation for our large family! We will be back!!!
