The place is a garden level with a private entrance it is bright, clean and comfortable. Place has a nice, coziness, with location and views both ways.

One block from Sloan’s Lake and a 10 minute drive or 20 minute bike ride to Downtown Denver.
Lake, parks, bars and restaurants are just blocks away! It's a 2.6 mile paved loop from our place around the Sloans Lake and back.

Close to Sloans Lake, Downtown Denver, Tennyson and Highland neighborhoods. Walk to Starbucks, Ruperts at the Edge, Edgewater Market, Skyline Pub, Lakeview Lounge, GB's Fish and Chips, Dunkin' Donuts, Edgewater Inn Pizza, US Thai and more. Target is a 5 minute walk! Coziness, views, and location. Great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

Getting Around...
The light rail which is about 1 mile to the Sheridan Station/West Line. There are RTD Bus routes accessible from the house as well as Uber or Lyft to get most places. Check out the RTD site for costs and schedules.

To go skiing or boarding hit Highway 6 and head west for 40 - 90 minutes depending on where you are headed. Good way to hit different resorts. Very easy to get downtown, or west toward the mountains.

Entire lower level with private entrance. Use the stairs to the left as you come up to the house (follow the side walk). There is a shared entrance on the side that goes to the backyard. Unit locks off, at the bottom of the stairs.

Outside/Common Area…
You can use the yard, patio, fire pit, grill and furniture. Just replace covers when finished.
Night lights are available by switch or you can plug in the bulbs.
Power is available and you can pick up WiFi, if you choose to work
Grill by side door is free to use. Please make sure the gas is turned off, when finished. Use lighter to light, as ignitor is broken.
Lights for outside are at the top of the stairs.

House Information…
Quiet hours after 10 PM on weekdays
No cigarette smoking inside.
Regarding Marijuana, it would be great if you could use patio, foyer, or utility room. This way we do not have to worry about damage to rugs or furniture. Just vent with the windows. On patio is cool.
Portable heater and fans are in the utility room for use, along with a washer and a dryer and work station.
Mini-Splits are available for your comfort. Please set the main central heater back to the controls it is on. Set up, to adjust throughout the day and night.
Shoes that are muddy or wet can be placed on shoe tray.
Broom, Hand Broom, Dust Pan and Snow Shovel are available, in the foyer.
Good place to leave sports equipment. It lock’s and you will have a key should you wish to lock.
Older towels under the sink in bathroom, for cleaning needs.

TIP…open window's at night and let in cool air. During the day shut windows and close the blinds. This should help keep things cooler, in the summer. During the winter, let the sunshine in!
Mini-Split Heaters and AC units are available for more comfort control.

Upon Departure…
Check Out: 11 AM
Strip the bed and place sheets pillow cases and used towels in utility room.
Leave utility room door unlocked.
Take trash out to alley through the back gate, when leaving or full. Red is recycle and Blue top is trash.
Turn off lights and shut all windows.
Turn off mini split heater/AC units.
Please lock the unit with the keypad or lockbox key.

We live in a very friendly residential neighborhood. Please be kind and respectful of the neighborhood and community.

Good location

We were in town to see our kids who live near by, and this was a great place to operate from. Easy to get to, lots of places to eat nearby, and they even cooked us a lovely meal here--the kitchen amenities were great.

Perfect for a short getaway

Comfortably slept 3 people. Teen slept on the couch and never complained. The stairs in the utility room lead to the back yard and fire pit (I unfortunately didn’t figure this out until the last day, I thought it was where the floors connected)

Cozy stay in Denver

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay here. It's perfect for couples. Quick access to a lot of places in Denver, depending on traffic of course. There is a beautiful view of Sloans Lake with the city in the background.

Great Stay

This was our second time staying at this home. We came for a short trip to see a concert at Red Rocks. The home is perfect in size, location, and for our needs. It's within walking distance of many restaurants, bars, and stores, and you can easily walk to Sloan Lake. There is plenty of parking out front, so I never had to worry about finding a spot. It's also a short drive to Red Rocks. One of the days we were there, it was close to 100 degrees, but we only needed to turn on the AC periodically, as the home stayed at a comfortable temperature throughout our stay. The neighborhood seemed quiet and safe. The pictures and descriptions listed were accurate. Kevin was able to accommodate us earlier than the check-in time when our Southwest flight was rescheduled to arrive hours earlier than expected. He maintained great communication throughout our stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great location, perfect unit for hot weather

The lower unit was perfect, clean, and the fact that it stayed cool all day long was a huge bonus. The location is perfect too! You can walk to everything (groceries, stores, food, drink, just a nice stroll around the lake, etc.). The only downer was the upstairs occupants sounded like they were doing gymnastics when they were there. They had a few kids so.... Nice people, just loud (but when you have kids, it's what's expected).

Really, really cool place

This place is really cool and is equipped with everything you need while on vacation. The neighborhood is really neat. Being able to walk over to the lake across the street and enjoy the beautiful summer weather was a real treat. I regret that we didnt have time to enjoy the backyard, thst was really nice too.

Awesome Stay

The host, Kevin, went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. The 3 inch memory foam topper made the bed super comfortable. There were different comforter/blanket and pillow options. Even the leather sectional was comfortable. The entrance was private, and I never even saw the host that lives upstairs. Bathroom had plenty of shampoo conditioner options and other various toiletries. The kitchen cabinets were full of spices for cooking. Target, grocery store, and several restaurants in walking distance. I felt safe walking alone during the day. Lots of others were also out walking in this friendly community of Edgewater.

Kevin founded DoubleUps for Beds in 1996 to solve the issues surrounding “competition for the covers” in a shared bed. Kevin, a graduate of Kansas State University (BS, in Milling Science and Management), spent his formative years in business building sales and management for agricultural processing and distribution corporations before his entrepreneurial, adventurous side took over. In the early 90’s, Kevin and a partner formed Terra Systems, a natural organic turf and shrub care company. The company was sold in 2002, and Kevin embarked on a two-year world tour, traveling to regions far and near to gain perspective on both his life and the world around him.
In his travels (58 countries and USA), Kevin lived like the locals and developed relationships with those from all walks of life. A Hall of Fame rugby player, his athleticism and team spirit provided him with an insider’s look into world’s most can only dream of. Upon his return to the States, Kevin embarked on his newest endeavor: buying, investing, selling, and listing real estate in Colorado. The light rail which is about 1 mile to the Sheridan Station/West Line. There are RTD Bus routes accessible from the house as well as Uber or Lyft to get most places.

To go hiking or west to the mountains. Highway 6 and head west for 20 - ? minutes depending on where you are headed.
Very easy to get downtown or west toward the mountains.
