Wonderful beach vibes!

The ocean view is amazing!!! The bed was quite comfortable and the resort location wonderful. Easy access to the beach. Great on site restaurant. The only change I would make to this property would be to update the flooring. It was outdated (but clean!).Especially in the hallway outside of the room. Overall we had a wonderful 5 star stay here and would definitely return to this property!

Great Short Stay

We were very impressed with the Dunes Village. Kids will love it here, but it was perfectly fine for an adult daughter and her mother for a quick get-away. The folks at the front desk could not have been nicer. The room was very clean and there was plenty to do. The tiki hut bar was a fun addition. The whole resort gave us Cancun all-inclusive vibes. Everyone working there seemed genuinely happy to be there. Would definitely visit again. Had a couple of minor issues with the room, but problems were corrected pretty quickly, and they definitely made an effort to rectify immediately but was not possible for one item. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Deep cleaning and renovations are needed

Per their early check-in policy, I paid $50 for an early check-in. This fee was supposedly to ensure the cleaners could prepare for my arrival after the previous guests left. To my disappointment, I could tell that not only the unit WASN'T cleaned the day off, it had been several days or weeks since. The fitted sheet had a stain and luckily a caught a staff member in the hall and they provided me with an extra set. The sleeper sofa was functional enough for my 9 y/o but the sheets looked very worn. The bathroom toilet keeping "running" and the shower made a few weird noises when the water first starts. Also, around 5ish one evening, someone came to do the routine termite inspection. That was horrible timing because we were getting undressed from the beach. I'm sure this could be scheduled (or rescheduled) when the unit isn't being occupied. The unit itself is in a great building, great location, with friendly staff and responsive management/ownership, it's unlikely I would stay in this particular unit again.

Great place for 2

I really enjoyed my stay it was a perfect place for 2 and the view was amazing. but more than 2 could be uncomfortable. I would definitely recommend this place.

Could have been better

Room is missing a TV. Was advertised with 2, only one in the room during our stay. Room needs to be maintained. There was wall patch on TV wall, missing baseboard. Resort was great for the kids alot to do. But this unit is right above the outside bar. The pool stays open unit 11pm. It can get kinda loud at nighttime.
