The French Broad River or the Nolichucky River are both excellent for white water rafting for adventure OR try fly fishing in the numerous creeks surrounding the area. Great!

Great location. Private. Quiet. Cozy. Awesome communication with owner. Can't wait to visit again. Location was close enough to local entertainment but far enough way that we didn't have traffic or noise. 5 star all around.

Wonderful Christmas cabin

The host was fabulous. Quick responses. She went above and beyond. I told her we’d be making Christmas cookies over our stay (so I was asking about certain utensils)- she went out and bought a rolling pin and some cute Christmas cookie cutters. The house was decorated for Christmas with a tree and several other decorations. WiFi worked great for watching movies. The beds were comfortable. The hot tub was nice and the views were amazing.

Amazing, relaxing, get-away!

Tiffany and Zach were great hosts! The property was absolutely gorgeous - stunning views and a really nice place. Hot tub & fireplace were epic!!! The dogs were an added bonus - so sweet. Will definitely be back!

Gorgeous location

The view from the cabin was gorgeous and the cabin itself was really cute. We got a couple of clear nights and we could see the Milky Way. The hosts were really friendly and made sure we were well accomodated. It's about 15 minutes from any stores or restaurants but the kitchen had everything we needed to be able to stay in and cook once we picked up ingredients. Wasn't too far from Asheville and we spent an evening getting dinner in town. The road up to the cabin is gravel and can be a little tricky but I was able to make it up and down in my sedan even after it rained.

Beautiful view and so peaceful away from the hustle and bustle

Great location for privacy

The scenery here was amazing and we had so much privacy, it was so nice. The kids loved the fire pit and the neighbors’ dogs that came by! It was only a few minutes to wolf ridge snow tubing, which the kids loved!

Cute mountain stay

We had plans at Wolf Ridge and this was the perfect location. We also took a short afternoon trip to hike in TN. Lots of local activities around that didn’t show up in my maps when I was planning our trip. Others commented on the driveway, and while it is a bit steep, it’s fairly mild as mountain driveways go. AWD (or 4x4) is best, but I’d venture to say as long as it isn’t snowy or muddy a 2WD car could do just fine. The host was very responsive and helpful and the dogs were incredibly sweet! We will be back :)

Spectacular View From The Deck!

This property was the perfect fit for my little family of 3. The cabin was just the right amount of space, very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The bed was super comfortable, and the washer dryer combo was very convenient. We enjoyed the breathtaking views from the large cabin windows and from the deck. Seeing the mountains in the fall is a MUST! The driveway was very steep which was a little difficult for our 2 wheel drive Dodge Journey but my husband was thankfully able to manage the climb without too much of an issue. Tiffany (host) was extremely helpful in the chat and responded in a very polite and timely manner with any questions that we had. We would definitely stay here again, and hope to do so in the future!

Rustic Apartment Above the Garage

If you are looking for a quiet weekend getaway, this is the place. Fall or Spring would be perfect times to visit here. There are other rented properties on the lot but whomever had it when we were there was quiet. There are not restaurants close by so you will either be getting groceries or going for a drive. 30 min to Asheville. 15 min to the closer town with grocery and a couple of restaurants. The driveway is gravel and quite steep so be advised if you are in a vehicle that does not have a lot of clearance or all wheel drive. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working and we were not informed until the day we were supposed to arrive that it was broken. To reiterate others comments, there is no central AC and the portable units are quite noisy. They had not been turned on prior to our arrival either and because it’s an apartment above a garage, it was hot. The place was super clean and everything worked. They had plenty of towels and a good assortment of kitchen stuff.

Great value and location

This property is about 25 mins from downtown Asheville, easy commute no traffic. We loved it here. It was very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful view of the mountains. Loved the hot tub and fire pit, also has a tree swing our daughter enjoyed. Host was great with easy fast and friendly communication.

Average stay

The property owner was great to work with and had great communication. The house is nice, beds are comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you could sent to cook. Biggest drawback was no central AC. The cabin was comfortable at night with floor AC unit hosed to windows in bedroom and a window unit in kitchen, but it was pretty hot during the day. We stayed in June so it was really hot outside. This probably wouldn't be too much of an issue during spring or fall.

A Trip from Reality!

The Hudson family was amazing! The property was clean, well maintained, and accessible! The view was AMAZING to wake up too in the morning time and enjoy with a cup of coffee! The host made sure that me and my family were well taken care of. She checked on us daily, and even recommended some activities around the area for me and the family. Most definitely will be back, and I HIGHLY recommend this property!
