Pet free was false and blood on pillow
First the check in process was horrible. Check in time was due at 4. They did not give us code until the cleaning people showed up at 4:35. Place was not even touched and pet hair all over and blood stains on the pillow! No cleaning was done so sheets left on beds, towels on floor, crumbs, blood on pillow.Cleaning people just gave code and left. The management basically said to suck it up for the night despite my medical concerns as I am deathly allergic to animals. They said figure it out until the next day when they could have place listed as pet free terminally cleaned. I slept outside most of the night as I was experiencing shortness of breath and closure of airways. I have been hospitalized due to pets and explained my concern to no avail! The cleaning people left but another group came at 7 and place did not let us check in until 9pm. The cleaning crew gave us the code to get in not management. Very uncaring staff! Then the bathroom fan was missing and no one fixed it during stay and a maintanence person came in day before check out while we were away and pulled part of wall out to get to water shut off pipes. We never even talked about water issues and never gave consent for someone to come in except to fix fan. The person left the wall piece lying on floor in bathroom and left. What a disaster. We rent every year and never ever had any such issues! Would never recommend going thru vacasa ever again! Beware !
