Beach Dreaming - Adorable 2 bedroom bungalow

Location is key! This nice 2 bedroom 1.5 bath home located on Manasota Key is just a short walk to Stump Pass beach on the Gulf of Mexico or a shuttle ride away to the island eateries.

Nice open-concept living room with comfy furniture, a flat screen TV, and a charming wood beam ceiling. Fully-stocked kitchen with new appliances and an adjoining dining area. Roll open the large sliding glass doors to the screened lanai where you can enjoy your morning coffee or meal, or just to let in a gentle breeze.

King-size bed in the master bedroom and two twin beds in the guest bedroom, each room with its own mini-split air conditioner. The shared bathroom with a tub/shower is within a few steps of the bedrooms. The laundry room is next to the kitchen, and the half bath is accessed from there. Around the corner is the outdoor shower to use after your day at the beach.

Amenities include carport parking, free Wi-Fi, Streaming TV, gas grill, beach chairs, 2 paddle boards with paddles, and 2 bicycles. The owner will consider allowing up to 2 well-behaved dogs for a pet fee and pet cleaning fee.

Perfect Florida beach house

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy getaway. It was a very short walk to a fantastic beach. The house had everything we needed, from the kitchen blender to the cozy linens and very cold AC, we couldn’t have asked for more. The neighborhood was well kept, safe and the Florida coastal vibes were everywhere. We enjoyed fishing , sifting through shells , (in almost every hand full of shells we found a shark tooth) the only regret was not staying longer. 4 nights was not enough. Next time we will go paddle boarding, watch the sunrise and explore the Stare parks near by. We will definitely look for this house to rent on our next trip to Manasota key.

Just steps to everything

Wonderful architectural gem, nicely furnished with comfortable furnishings and all the comfort of home. Walk 500 steps to private beach or a dozen more to stump pass state park entrance Find dozens of sharks teeth or fish the bay. Short drive to stores for supplies or a free ride with "stumpy" to island restaurants. Owner responded to questions instantly. I will stay again.

"This property is on the island but is across the street from the beach. There is no view of the Gulf from the property. It is about a 5-7 minute walk to the beach." This was description of home location, but truly two streets from beach and a VERY round about way to get to it. Should have just had directions to the Public Beach-Stump Pass. We had tiny BUGS all over the counters in kitchen-in the food and anything you set on counters and on the floors. Bikes are old, did not ride, only 2. Water pressure was low, no bathroom fan. Needs some updates for the price that we paid. Then the rental agency charged for cleaning-but we needed to take out garbage (last renters garbage still in can), strip beds, etc. for the $150, only 3 loads of laundry for them to do. This was first VRBO and may be the last one. There were clumps of hair/dog hair, not sure but owners were worried that the house was not cleaned from last renters. No compensation for the bugs and tossing food because of the bugs, I sent pictures too. The lizards were not as bad as the bugs!!! Just a sorry and no visit from agency. Oh well you live and you learn and you get burned.

Great rental

We had such a great stay. The house is big, open, bright and airy. Open concept home with great furnishings and the most comfortable beds! We cooked all of our meals at the house and ate at the dining room table. We lounged outside and watched the beautiful birds fly around. Our yorkies loved the home as well. Once again, we will be back.
