The Beach is Calling! Beautiful balcony view of the ocean. Relax and enjoy your vacation in this charming "cottage" condo at Pelican Beach, Unit 1214. This newly renovated unit sleeps 6 comfortably. In addition to an indoor pool, 3 outdoor pools, and 2 hot tubs, this resort has a NEW beachfront pool and a new 14 person hot tub. The resort has a cafe and a Tiki Hut next to the beach. Located in the heart of Destin, you are close to a variety of restaurants, groceries, and shopping.

Well-equipped condo - great location

The condo is well equipped in the kitchen and some bath towels were provided. You may want to pack extra if you have more than 4 people staying, especially wash cloths. Excellent location in Destin and the beach was so nice! Would recommend and we would definitely stay here again. Joan the property owner was quick to respond to any of my messages too. Overall, it was a good experience.

Fantastic mini vacay

Love Destin! Condo was great for my family and I. Even has a small washer and dryer in the unit. Beautiful sunrises in the morning. Joan is a gracious host. :)

Fantastic condo!

This was a quick weekend getaway for our family and the condo was perfect! Joan was responsive and always answered our questions. The check in process was efficient and the condo was exactly as described. Very clean and it had everything we needed. The views of the beach from the balcony were perfect! The walk to the beach was super quick and the location of the condo was very close to lots of shopping and dining. Would love to stay here again!

Family getaway

We absolutely loved our condo and the property owner. Everything on that end was wonderful and the owner was very accommodating. The resort was very clean and there were workers constantly making sure everything was clean. Our only complaint was the pool. Very strict on drinks near the pool and they closed the pool down very easily for weather and weren’t quick to reopen.

Perfect location, great condo

We really loved our stay. The condo was very clean, with soft, new looking linens on all the beds. It was equipped with a wide array of cookware, all in new condition, plenty of tableware and food storage for what we were needing. The view from the balcony was fantastic and I was very pleasantly surprised by the speed and ease of getting from the condo to the 2 main pools on the property and the beach. The condo owner was quick to get back to us and very friendly and accommodating. We definitely plan to stay here again!

Excellent!

The property was absolutely perfect for my family. The unit itself was very clean and well furnished. It offered great unobstructed views of the beach from the balcony and the sunsets were beautiful looking out from the entry. The resort itself was also great- the zero entry pool was the kids’ favorite and I was impressed with how well maintained the entire property grounds were - even the grills were clean! Drinks and food were even better than expected and good value. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Nice on-beach property

The condo was very nice overall and wonderfully located. Staff was friendly and inviting. The interior decor was inviting, fresh, and up-to-date...you definitely felt as if you were at the beach! Check-in was a breeze, and the communication with the owner was timely and responsive. Improvements needed: Lysol wipes revealed that kitchen island countertop had not been cleaned properly for some time. Skillets and kitchen cutlery need to be replaced- very worn. Patio furniture was filthy and tied everywhere with yellow caution tape. I had to spend time wiping down the furniture to clean it and removing the tape so we could enjoy the patio (it was plastic patio furniture). Quite off-putting.

Family vacation

Great place to stay! Weather wasn’t great for us we didn’t enjoy the beach much. But I would recommend renting chairs! We didn’t because the water was still chilly! Condo was clean and roomy! Balcony was a great view! Would definitely recommend staying here! We had 2 adults 4 kids range from 10-18! Pools are great also! Roads are very busy around here but it’s a happening spot! So be prepared for that! We did drive down to Ft Walton (short trip) and walked on those beaches as well! Would be great when weather is warmer!

Lovely Spring Break experience

We booked only three weeks out, but it was lovely! Hard to believe it was still available. We had 6 guests and there were actually enough towels for all of us! I will say that one of the boys had to sleep on an air mattress he brought ( I was NOT sharing a room with a teenage boy). The ability to split the bed in the second bedroom into two singles was a definite plus in the boy's eyes. Unfortunately, there was no sunset view, but I could ( and did) stay on the balcony and stare at the water all day. The kitchen was nicely equipped. The knives were actually SHARP-a rarity in rentals.

Great Place

We had a great experience staying at this condo! The condo was very clean and updated. Beds were very comfortable. We thought we’d have trouble with waiting for an elevator since condo is on the 12th floor, but we always just got right on. We weren’t too happy about putting our beach chairs behind the rental umbrella and chairs, which was anything near the water. We were not made aware of this before booking the rental. Other than that, we were really happy with the place.

From the minute we booked, Joan was amazing!! The resort was everything we had been looking for. Safe, clean, and fun. The condo was a dream. Gorgeous views was icing on the cake. My boys 13, 12, and 10 were entertained all week. Thank you Joan, for making our first spring break so memorable!

Awesome place!

The condo was really lovely. Beds were comfortable and towels were white and fluffy. Pictures were accurate and great views!!! We really enjoyed the beach, three pools and hot tubs. We’ll be back!

My husband and I were very pleased with the condo. It was very clean and comfortable. We felt right at home. The host was fantastic. The welcome letter was such a great help. It was very informative and explained everything we needed to know. We had one minor issue with the tv. The host responded immediately to our text message and the issue was resolved in minutes. The resort was very nice and all the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. We were so pleased with the condo and host that we have already booked a longer stay for next year. Highly recommend!

BEWARE. WE ARE ABSOLUTELY DIGUSTED BY OUR EXPERIENCE. Let me start with the host was a nice lady but there is absolutely no excuse for how we were treated. We hate to leave this review as we selected this host based on the 5 stars, clearly these stars are deceiving. Let's start with the list of issues here. None of the outlets in the 1st bedroom worked There was mold in the coffee pot and the inside of the shower lining in the master bathroom. The TV was broken in the living room which made it very difficult to entertain with 4 adults and a toddler. We have to move all the rugs because they were filthy and smelled. There was so much debris, dust, and dirt behind the sofa and beds, when we asked why it was not cleaned, we were told that is considered a deep cleaning (that makes absolutely no sense). The mattress were horrible, old and absolutely uncomfortable. With all of these concerns, we contacted vrbo and they only care about the host and are very bias. We will never booked using vrbo or this with this host again.

Beautiful Destin Beach Condo

Spacious, clean, updated bathrooms and very nice kitchen. Close to beach and pool access. We loved our stay and will be back. Owner was quick to respond. We were traveling with a baby and were allowed to access the condo early. The balcony faces the beach and Gulf. We enjoyed coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night.
