Captain`s House A2 - New Condo | 2 Bed, 2 Bath

Oceanfront with direct beach access, this quaint seaside respite, built on Amelia Island in 1983, includes only nine spacious villas. Each unit is directly situated on sand and sea with a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and a living room that opens to an oceanfront deck. A staircase connects each of the three floors, including the two spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms in Sur La Mer. A private boardwalk takes you to the beach, where you can explore and bask in the incredible views to your content. The condos of the Captain's House are a perfect place for quiet getaways, wonderful family gatherings, and vacations of all kinds. These are a premier Amelia Island vacation rental! Please note that you will have to take stairs to get to the property no elevator is on site.

All fresh linens and towels are provided for our guests. We also provide a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, dish washing soap, dish pods, and laundry detergent. Beach chairs, beach towels, and a beach umbrella are also provided for you to use during your stay.

We also ask all guests to complete a registration form with Amelia Island Vacations through the secure site of DocuSign.

There is a credit processing fee of $35 that will be charged if you cancel your booking, regardless of the booking or cancellation date.

Some furniture may change in quantity or availability from photos due to season or weathering.

The property was in a great location. The unit was clean and well stocked. There were games, cards and even musical instruments. There were many plug ins available for chargers, etc. The beds were comfortable as well. The unit was beautifully decorated and best of all just steps from the beach. It also is pet friendly though we didn't have ours with us...that is a big plus for those of us that are dog lovers. I definitely would stay here again.

Everything you could need is here

This beachfront condo is well appointed with every essential and then so much more. There are nightlights and flashlights, umbrellas, games, art supplies, etc etc. The kitchen has everything you need and the space is comfortable and clean. It is great location- near to shopping and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was very comfortable with everything we needed. And what a view! We loved having easy access to the beach for walking our dog. The location was great for walking to restaurants too!

Super awesome and easy peasy!

I really wanted to stay longer, but I had to go back because I had some responsibilities. The house has everything you can possibly imagine that you'll need. The patio door goes straight to the beach and, even better, there is a shower for the beach right in front of our room. There are restaurants within a 5-minute walk, and we ate at one of my favorite places (Salt Life) right on the beach with an incredible view. The service was really impressive, the house was super clean, and the linens were perfect. Everything was just amazing. Thank you so much, and we'll definitely see you again soon.

Great option for a long or short term stay

If you're looking for a beach front stay with easy access to activities, amenities, etc. look no further. It was the perfect option for our family that included two children under 12. Would happily return another time and recommend to friends.

Mini Anniversary Getaway

Property is as described in listing. Very clean, plenty of room, but most importantly on the beach! Ocean sounds plenty loud with the weather, but we still managed to find over 300 sharks teeth!! 2 were bigger than a half dollar! Checking in and out was very easy! Property management were easy to contact and very helpful!

Lovely place on beach

Great view of early morning sunrise! We enjoyed walking along the beach and watching the dolphins swim by. The place was very clean with everything and more that we needed. It was stocked with games, books, and a full kitchen. Beautiful island and perfect location!

Perfect first visit to Hilton Head!

Our family had never been to Hilton Head, but we did a fair amount of research and kept coming to the island as a wonderful kid friendly destination. We have 4 children from 2 months to 11 years old and everyone had the best time. This property fit all of our needs perfectly, there was plenty of space to enjoy. The kitchen was well stocked with any cooking utensil you could need. We made all of our breakfasts and lunches at the condo. I especially appreciated the washer/dryer in unit which made packing for a week more manageable. The double balconies were awesome for quick access to fresh air and a beautiful view. Best of all was the location! We LOVED being right on the beach and having access to indoor/outdoor pools as well. There were plenty of paths to walk nearby - we enjoyed scooter rides to the General store for ice cream. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay, we would love to visit again!

Wonderful beach house

We had a fantastic time here on Amelia Island. The condo is on a beautiful and quiet stretch of beach and is also a short drive to the beautiful downtown. We loved having morning coffee on the porch overlooking the sunrise climbing over the ocean . We would definitely stay here again.

Well appointed - Great location

We had a lovely time at this beach location. The condo had everything we needed. Several restaurants close by. Communication was minimal with the property manager. We had to ask for the entry code after check in time had passed. Then found out in an embarrassing mistake, that our neighbors had the same entry code. They sent someone out to fix this after the neighbors reported the problem. They did not reach out to us to let us know that someone was coming nor did they follow-up. Don’t let this stop you from renting this condo.

Very Nice

You will want for nothing in this place. The owners have been meticulous in providing for your every need and more. It was the tiny details that made such a huge difference between an average Vacation rental and this place. Amenities such as motion lights in closets and cabinets, lavender sachets in drawers, first class appliances for coffee, heating water, toaster oven etc. And it’s just a short walk across the dunes to the beach.

A wonderful place to stay

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this perfectly appointed condo. The location was great, so close to the town and right on the beach. We loved having the balcony access to the beach, it was a great place to relax and let the dog rest after a day on the beach. This condo had everything you could want, having 2 bathrooms was great. The bed was comfortable, and the condo was easy to temperature regulate. Parking was easy, with easy access to sidewalks for taking the dog out. We hope to return soon and stay at this cozy quiet place.
