Just What We Needed!
Book it! We would certainly visit again!
The place is in the woods and away from the hustle and bustle, yet still easy to access where you want to go. 25 mins into the Smokies, 35 to Pigeon Forge.
The cabin was set with all necessities: cookware, towels, clean sheets, blankets, even toilet paper, coffee pods, dish detergent. Now I gather some may be left by previous tenants, but we’ve been to other vrbos where the towels and cookware were scarce, this was perfect.
Only 2 downsides: there was limited table seating, nice breakfast table upstairs and longer table downstairs, but we made it work and I would not let it detour you(too chilly to eat outside, otherwise would have been there b/c plenty on deck); the living room upstairs is closed & kitchen separate, as we had 7 and wanted to be together, comfortable seating for 5. Please take this as info only, as we would do it all over again!!
Adults spent a lot of time in the kitchen, the kids played games(that do work!) downstairs and we enjoyed cooking outside, the fire pit and at the creek. The outside deck is 3/4 the house, which was awesome! There is outside lighting, perfect for sitting out with a drink and enjoying nature. There is a neighbor down the hill some and up from you, but far enough to not be a worry! Plenty of parking, Great house, Very hospitable host: quick with response, and even sent a gift for Thanksgiving. With Many trips of the past, this is the First we were appreciated by the host in that manner! Thx!
