This is a lovely, clean home with many comforts. Unfortunately, the dishwasher was broken. We figured this out and contacted Vacasa on the 2nd day of our stay. They responded promptly by text acknowledging the issue, but never followed up or fixed it. There was only a single dish towel and no dish drainer, so we had to go out and buy stuff, and to wash dishes for the entire week.
We also rented during a hot spell, and although there is an air conditioner, it is a wall unit in the master bedroom, and just capable of cooling that room, where elderly parents slept. Kids slept in lower level singles, which were reasonably comfortable, but the other upstairs bedroom was uncomfortably hot for several days until nighttime temps finally dipped. Had to sleep over covers with multiple fans on high to get through the night.
My only other significant issue was only 6 dining room chairs, with no other appropriate chairs around to supplement. My daughter sat on an ottoman with an extra sofa pillow on top of it for meals.
The kitchen has the essentials, but is otherwise somewhat sparsely equipped. There is a great electric skillet, though, which is very helpful for breakfasts. The fridge has an ice dispenser, but is not hooked up to water, so you have to make ice with trays the old fashioned way. Consider buying bags of ice if you plan to use a lot.
Otherwise, it was a nice stay. Lots of space. Nicely renovated with great bathrooms. Enjoyed the game room. BBQ worked well. Made s'mores over the fire pit (there was no wood when we got there, but you can walk a couple houses down and buy a small bundle of wood, and also see their ducks and chickens). Power went out for a short while on the day we left, which, according to a neighbor, is not too rare. North Woodstock downtown and Lincoln are both very close, with some good places to eat. Cascade Park was a nice surprise in the middle of North Woodstock, with a sort of natural water slide over granite rocks.
