Pool Maintenance
Overall the house was lovely, well decorated and cleaned. The pool was the main issue. When we got there the heater and filter were not on. We had booked a house that was bigger than what we needed just to have the pool due to my mom preferring a pool over the beach. I let the realtor know that the heater was not working and she offered that we could leave our first day for a full reimbursement or receive a small reimbursement every day that they could not get someone over to fix it. They did send someone over that day and I got a text saying that it was fixed and the heater should run for 2 hours to heat the pool to the desired temperature. My mom was at the pool and let me know 10 minutes later that it had shut off again and was not running. At this point I guess I should have reached back out to the realtor but our vacation was a short stay (2 full days) and I did not want to be spending all my time dealing with their problem which should have been taken care of prior to our arrival. Also the filter was not running the entire time and the water was dirty and cloudy. They did send someone over in the morning of our first day to clean and he turned the filter on but it stopped running through the day. I was not able to get a reimbursement from due to them telling me that I should have had someone come back over on our 2nd day and that the pool heater and filter not working was in our rental agreement.
