Because we fell in love with this old stone "peasant's house" as we like to call it (not a château!) with stone arches, stone floors, a groined-vaulted chamber, wooden shutters, and vestiges of the barn in the garage, the pigeoniere (dove cote) in the walls, we think you will too! There is a pleasant kitchen with a table to gather around, a comfortable living room with two couches and three bedrooms, along with an attic office that has two small (extra) beds.
Listening to the many birds and watching them fly down the Impasse, sitting under the stars at night on the terrace and smelling the fragrance of the nearby flowers are gentle pleasures of being here.
Here, in this village and its surroundings, we have come to love the olive groves, the vineyards, the pomegranate trees and rosemary bushes, the horses, the old stone walls and the way the breezes can cool the heat in summer.
And best of all, it is the perfect place from whence to explore the beauties and delights of Provence and Languedoc (Occitanie) as it is quite close to Nîmes. The sense of the past melds gracefully with the present
