Welcome to Poolside Villas #104. You will fall in love with this beautiful condo located right in the heart of Holiday Isle. This newly updated 2BR/2BA condo, features a king master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and balcony access, a guest bedroom with a full over full bunk, and a sleeper sofa in the living room, sleeping up to 8 guests comfortably. Enjoy morning coffee on the patio or cook up a delicious meal in the recently updated kitchen. Guests will enjoy the gulf breezes from the swimming pool, where there is beach access to the white sugar sand and within 400 feet from the gulf shore. Poolside Villas #104 is sure to be your new beach getaway destination.

Located within the serene settings of Holiday Isle, Poolside Villas is surrounded by nature’s beauty. Natural dunes engulf the landscape as you walk the sand path to relax on the famous white sandy beaches. Enjoy this prime location for fishing, snorkeling, or watching fireworks from the Destin Harbor. Take advantage of Destin’s Water Taxi for a short ride across the harbor to the Harborwalk Village. Poolside Villas offers secure parking, a large communal pool and barbecue grills for guests to enjoy.

Area Attractions:

An easy walk along the beach will take you to the jetties, where the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor meet, a spot well-known for great snorkeling and fishing. Here you can also watch boats going out deep sea fishing and returning from gulf to harbor.

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop.

Great Location

The location of the property couldn't be better! Plenty of towels. The cleanliness was our main issue. The table covering was dirty. There was another issue I reported, but it was never taken care of and we had to clean it ourselves. Destin is beautiful to visit!

Wasn’t what I expected

Everyone had a great time at the beach and we really enjoyed Destin. There was a lot of construction going on in the building we stayed, that was really annoying. We couldn’t take good pictures in the pool because some of the patios were held up by load locks. I thought it would be a nice place to stay. But seemed like the building needed a lot of attention.

This was a nice accommodation for our bachelorette celebration weekend. there were signs saying not to step on the dunes so we could not enjoy the beach. It wasn’t disclosed in listing.

Good location

Very disappointing first impression with dirty towels in the closet , dirty sheets and dirty socks on bed. Called the management and received clean sheets the same night. Unit is on the first floor and facing the parking lot. Rooms are very small with no place to store clothes. Bath rooms have no place to put essentials. Pictures from website are some what photoshopped and don’t represent the actual unit. Location is perfect with easy access to the beach. Beach is very nice and pleasant. We won’t be returning.

Convenient Location

Unit had not been cleaned when we arrived. Called management immediately and they actually answered immediately, which was nice and got a cleaning crew out there quickly to get the unit cleaned while we went to dinner and they're supposed to re-imburse us $100 for the inconvenience. I should have read the bathroom description better, there's no bathtubs to bathe toddlers in, just 2 showers. Couldn't get the dishwasher to ever work. Fitted sofa bed sheet didn't fit, management was able to swap it out fairly quickly. Unit could use additional blankets, beds only had a sheet and thin quilt covering them and only 1 extra blanket for the sofa bed. Master bed mattress could use a fitted sheet that fits it better, it kept slipping off the corners. Only good thing I can really say is the lady I spoke to with management was very nice, helpful, quick to respond and tried her best amend the issues we had. Complex is located near a really nice jetty where the water is calm, clear and beautiful and great for snorkeling by the rock outcropping.

Family vacation

Despite a few glitches, we did enjoy most of our stay. An issue I had before the vacation, was trying to find out if there was beach service for this property. After calling 4 times and being told there was service 3X, there ended up not being beach service for our condo. Once we got on the beach with our chairs, we were asked to move. The beach service attendant said it was a private beach for a resort that is not located there. People were boated in to use the beach service. We did enjoy the beach a couple of times after hours of that beach service, but it was after 6 pm. Be prepared for a long walk to the beach and even further if you want to bring chairs. The inside of the condo was clean. However, three of the 6 kitchen chairs were loose and not safe to sit in. The bunk bed had a board broken off of it that was just put back in place and the ladder was torn off of the side so when my grandson went to climb up, the board fell off and the ladder was not sturdy. The other issue was that the screen door was off of the patio door and laid up against the glass. I called the property mgr and they did send the maintenance man, Ivan, who was very nice and efficient, to fix the door and bed. We had not discovered the loose chairs until after that. The king bed was comfortable, but challenging for a short person to get on. My daughter said her lower bunk bed was not comfortable. Toilet in hall bath was a tight squeeze. Living room curtains see through at night.

Able to swim

It was a great location, the kids were able to play in the harbor while the gulf had double red flags( no one allowed in the water). It was secluded and very peaceful. Helped me to relax( I work in Healthcare and I prefer not to hear sirens because it takes me back work mode) it needed some updates but all in all worth it.
