SWEET RETREAT is fully equipped to be your home-away-from-home. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and of course, all you need for coffee each morning! Enjoy your meals together around the dining room table, or take it to the front patio for an epic barbecue.

After exploring the wonders of the Ark Encounter, decamp to the family room for a movie night. This comfy space includes a 65" flatscreen TV with streaming access and live TV via Roku TV and WiFi.

The bedrooms are fit for royalty, with a grand master featuring a king bed, a luxurious ensuite master bath, a spacious walk-in closet and a 65" TV for your entertainment. The second bedroom is fit for a king, with a king bed and a 58" TV. The third bedroom is cozy and comfortable, with a queen bed that will make you feel right at home. With two full bathrooms, you and your guests will have all the space you need to feel refreshed and ready to explore the wonders of Florence or Cincinnati. 1- We provide a swing set for our younger guests' enjoyment. To ensure their safety, we require adult supervision at all times. Please note that injuries are the responsibility of the supervising adult, not the establishment. The swing set is suitable for children aged 3 to 8 years, weighing no more than 100 pounds, to prevent damage to the equipment. Any damages to the swing set will incur a replacement fee. We appreciate your cooperation in following these guidelines to keep a safe and fun environment for everyone.
2- Sweet Retreat is somewhat close to a train track, and while the sound is gentle enough not to disturb, it’s worth noting if absolute silence is crucial for your stay. Please keep this in mind when booking.

Exploring Cincinnati & Kentucky

Our 6 night stay in this beautiful home was perfect. The property is in a very nice neighborhood. It’s extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The beds & bedding are extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with top of the line appliances and kitchen tools. This beautiful home is perfectly located for day trips all around the Cincinnati area and beyond, and it’s an easy 1hr drive to all the must see sites that Louisville & surrounding area has to offer, including the Kentucky Derby Museum/Churchill Downs, Louisville Slugger Museum, Muhammad Ali Center, Jim Beam Distillery, and many other distilleries. If you’re planning a trip to the Cincinnati & Kentucky area I highly recommend this home as your base.

Perfect Stay for Christian Family vacation!

My Mom just turned 80 six months ago. She had a "bucket list" item of seeing "The Ark & the Creation Museum. This home had everything! Dishes, pots & pans, coffee maker, glasses, microwave, dishwasher, extra large refrigerator, bbq, linens & much more! It was easy freeway access and had a local Kroger grocery store and gas station within a mile. Neighborhood was quiet & peaceful. We invited my wife's parents to go with us & we were so glad we did! This is the perfect accommodation for 3 couples! We had a blast cooking meals together, eating outside together on the patio, playing cards on the dinning room table, sitting around the fire pit cooking S'mores! This property not only made great new memories but also allowed the blended family to share vacation stories from the past. What a delightful place to stay! 3 nights was not enough time to explore the surrounding area. I would suggest 5-7 day minimum.

Adorable renovated home

This was a really cute property very convenient to the interstate. The amenities of the home were wonderful. The overall location took away one star because there is a train track close by and trains run all night as well.

Great Place to Stay

The house is really lovely - nicely decorated, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Our group consisted of 4 adults (2 couples) so the layout was perfect with 2 bathrooms. We didn't use the firepit, but it certainly looked like a great place to spend an evening. The shopping center that is close by had a number of restaurants and a grocery store. There is also a Starbucks. The location was perfect for our day trips to the Creation Museum, the Ark and the Newport Aquarium. All in all, I would definitely recommend the house and will stay here again if we are ever in the area again.

Very impressed!

This rental was incredibly pretty and clean. We were all so very comfortable in your house. We not only enjoyed the tourist attractions we came to KY to see, we actually looked forward to the mornings and evenings that we spent in the house. This was so much better than staying in a hotel. We hated to leave!

So cute?

We were so pleased with our stay! The house was decorated so cute and they had all the amenities that you could think of for your stay, including some K-cups. It was conveniently located close to the interstate making it very easy for us to get to the Creation Museum and The Ark Encounter! And it sits halfway between both! Could not have asked for a better place to be!

Absolutely Perfect!

This was a perfect experience. The location is exactly the same distance to The Ark Encounter as it is to the Creation Museum so right in the middle. The home is beautiful, the place was immaculate. The A/C blows cold and has perfectly appointed kitchen and bathrooms. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting The Answers in Genesis sites. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Beautiful Place

This house is absolutely hands down the most beautifully decorated vrbo we've ever stayed at! Walked in to everything spotlessly clean. Bedding smelled amazing & kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more! We cooked breakfast and supper all 3 days and had every pot/pan & utensil you could want. Looks exactly like the online pictures with a very spacious master bedroom. Loved having a washer & dryer with soap provided! Highly recommend for anyone of you looking for a comfy place to stay!

Perfect Location for our Vacation

This house was the perfect location for our vacation. We visited the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. We also visited Cincinnati, OH and the Newport Aquarium in Newport, KY. The house was AMAZING!! We were really impressed by the thoughtful attention to detail that this house provided. The property managers were very quick to reply to any questions that we had and also provided to us through email information about directions to the property, check in prior to our check in date and recommended restaurants in the area upon our request. We truly enjoyed our stay!

We were in the area for 3 days visiting the creation museum and Ark encounter with our parents. The location is almost perfectly in between the two and close to the interstate which made getting around very easy. The house was 100% true to the pictures on the listing. It was impeccably decorated and had everything one could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The host communicated with us before the stay with all the details. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Family vacation

The property is in a great location. It’s within 30 minutes of the Ark, Creation Museum and Cincinnati. It’s an older home that has been remodeled. It worked well for our family. The living room furniture, even though it looks nice with the decor, is not that comfortable. The fenced in yard was great for our grand daughter. The house was equipped with everything you need. Even an older lady across the street keeping an eye on what’s going on outside.
