Nestled on the North East side of prestigious Pigeon Lake, Pigeon Dream is only 5 minutes outside of the quaint town of Bobcaygeon accessible by boat and/or by car! Featured on the Trent Severn Waterway, the water levels are maintained year round! This property is a spectacular year round destination - with activities including great fishing in all four seasons. In the summer, enjoy your private water front full of water toys! Be sure to checkout the Bobcaygeon Farmer's Market with over 35 vendors of local produce and art on Saturday Mornings. For golf enthusiasts, the following ranges are all within a 20 minute radius; Sheffield's Greens Golf Course (also accessible by boat and/or car!), Dunsford Golf & Country Club and Sturgeon Point Golf Club & Driving Range! In the winter this centrally located cottage becomes your home base for a wide variety of winter activities including tobogganing, skating, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and more! Twin Rivers Snowmobile Club and Ontario snowmobile/ATV trails less than a km away (up Bessie Avenue) and perfect calm conditions for a solid hockey rink on the lake in the winter (as ice permits)! Pigeon Dream is centrally located 2 hours from downtown Toronto, 30 minutes from Lindsay, 40 minutes from Peterborough and 1 hour south of Haliburton.

PIGEON DREAM - The sprawling 4 acre property begins with a winding paved driveway that descends from the road past the Guest Cottage down to the breathtaking waterfront, The Honeymoon Suite and entrance of the main cottage. Meticulous gardens adorn the grounds, with intricate bridges, fire pit areas with seating for 8 and a glorious flat lawn off the Guest Cottage for games like spike ball, bocce ball, lawn bowling, volleyball, badminton and more! Down at the waterfront, a private, paved boat launch can be found, making it a breeze to launch your own watercraft. An additional fire pit area with seating for 8 overlooks the pristine lake, creating magnificent night time conditions as the moon and stars cast a dancing reflection off the lake.

Jayne McCaw, has been involved in luxury cottage rentals in Muskoka for the last 5 years and recently launched Jayne's Cottages in 2014.
A message from Jayne, Owner of Jayne's Cottages:
As a child, I grew up with the sandy beach of Lake Huron in my backyard. I went to university and settled in Toronto with my family and made my living selling computer software. I starting visiting Muskoka in the summertime and fell in love with the peacefulness and natural beauty of the surroundings. Shortly thereafter we bought a cottage, which was quite an investment, but my family has never regretted it!
Working full time however only allowed my family a 2 week vacation, so we all agreed that we would rent to cover our property expenses and to afford to take exotic family trips overseas. Renting our cottage has allowed my family to experience other special places, like Provence and Tuscany.
Despite the alarming storms that can rush in, Muskoka has a certain “joie de vivre” about it. Blue skies, gorgeous lakes, quaint villages and sunshine nearly everyday certainly helps keep a smile on everyone’s face. Over our years in Muskoka, I have met charming people who have also fallen in love with this magical part of Ontario and who have purchased beautiful cottage properties that they visit frequently. While they are away from Muskoka, I take excellent care of their homes and host their visitors who come from all over the world to enjoy this beautifully scenic Canadian location that is especially close to my heart.
My goal with Jayne’s Cottages is to help both the cottage owner and our vacationing guests make the most of their Muskoka experience. I would love to help you too! Please be in touch!
