2022 Newly constructed year-round cabin on beautiful Sturgeon Lake. Summer fun hanging out at the lake with Adirondack chairs and a fire pit at the lake (firewood included). Nice dock to swim from and canoes, kayaks and paddles boards available to use. You can also rent our pontoon with sea legs. Guests are also welcome to bring their own boat - the boat landing is very close by. Winter fun with a cozy gas fireplace in the cabin and access to the frozen lake for ice fishing and direct access to miles of snowmobile trails. Great fall colors. Wi-Fi and Netflix. Most reservations only require a 2 night minimum. Some summer and holiday weekends require a 3 night minimum. This cozy cabin includes an open concept room with the living space and kitchen. It also includes a gas fireplace and large windows to enjoy the trees and lake. When the leaves are out there is more of a tree view than a lake view. Off season there is a more expansive view of the lake. There is also a deck off the cabin with outdoor seating, a patio table, and a gas grill. The cabin has a bedroom with a queen bed on the main level with an adjoining bathroom. The sleeping loft includes a second queen bed and a full bed. This cabin can comfortably sleep 5 adults or 4 adults and 2 kids. The living room has seating for 4 and the kitchen island has seating for 5. There is AC in the cabin and in-floor heat and a gas fireplace for winter. This unique setting has the cabin on the crest of the hill looking down at the trees and lake. A 300' walking trail through the woods and a 150' trail down the hill takes you to your private lakeshore and dock (see photos). It's about a three minute walk from the cabin to the dock. Also at the shore are canoes, kayaks and paddleboards for all guests to use - life jackets are also provided. There is space to park two vehicles at the cabin, but the property also has overflow parking for additional vehicles or trailers. $65 pet fee for ONE small/medium size dog that do NOT shed. Add a pet when completing the number of guests. Sorry, no other pets are allowed. You may not want to leave this relaxing property, but if you do, very close by is General Andrews State park, Moose Lake State Park, and many other trails systems for ATVs, hiking, snowmobile, and other outdoor activities. A short drive north is Jay Cooke State Park or a short drive south is Banning State Park. For a great meal and drinks, head to Doc's Restaurant a few miles away on the other side of the lake. We live close by and always available by cell phone to assist our guests if you need anything during your stay. We accept either the damage insurance or a fully refundable $500 damage deposit. If when booking your reservation you are only provided the insurance option, but prefer to provide a $500 refundable damage deposit, send me a message so I can provide you the refundable damage deposit option. Thank you for considering our Cozy Lake Cabin in the Woods!
