This property was amazing and had great details like all of our names and brownies and there was great communication and hospitality with the owner. Its a wonderful place to stay with family and friends and is a very enjoyable environment. I would totally recommend for anyone trying to visit springs or stay in a foresty place!

Comfortable nature retreat

This waterfront property is tucked away nicely into the woods yet minutes away from the towns conveniences. Lots of room for family and friends and well appointed for fun. Lisa cares for the property and it shows. You won't be disappointed. We even saw a bobcat!

The property was perfect for our family getaway. Lots of fishing and very close to the Rainbow River- which is absolutely beautiful! Spent lots of time at the Headspring swimming. Stop by the Dunnellon seafood market. Family owned business and they are amazing! We had quite a bit of rain but the HUGE screened in porch let us be outside, enjoying the surrounding wildlife and river. Cooked most of our meals at the house and ate on the porch! It was lovely!

Relaxing get away

We had a quiet, relaxing get away at the river retreat. Access to the river for kayaking couldn’t have been easier. We saw a lot of beautiful wildlife. The location is tucked away, but still close to anything you might need.

Lovely getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, sitting on the deck with a good book was just what we were looking for, and Lisa's place delivered. It may have been very warm in town, but the deck on the water and the cool breeze was just wonderful. And Lisa's brownies were the best! We will visit again!

Excellent!!

We had a wonderfully relaxing and super fun 3 day weekend visit and felt completely at home. Lisa was gracious and lovely - meeting us at the house to welcome us with just baked brownies. We went tubing and kayaking at Rainbow Springs and also spent time at the house to paddle board, fish, play board games on awesome screened porch, and make s’mores in the fire pit. We can’t wait to come back!

Everything about our stay was perfect. The house is spotlessly clean and exactly as described. Lisa is super friendly, helpful and efficient, with great communication. Having use of the kayaks is a real bonus, we spent a couple of cheap days just exploring the river. Great location for exploring this part of Florida with many interesting places within an easy drive. Very highly recommend.

An amazing place nestled within a more quiet part of the River. The house was great, with paddle boat, kayaks, amazing porch deck and fishing off the dock. Beautiful location. Very well set up house. Kitchen had everything that was needed and more. Just a super great place to get away from it all and relax with virtually no outside noise except for the frogs a croaking and the owls a hooting. And if you're worried about the sun blaring down on while on the decks. The decks are in the shade for a long time during the day. We had a great time. You will also.

Better then the Photos

Exceptional home and location. Everything you need is right here. The beds are comfortable, the deck is stunning as are the views at sunset. We saw gators and deer without even leaving the house. Lisa is very helpful and accommodating as we were booked to come down as hurricane Irma was arriving in Fla and we changed our dates to even better dates. I can't think of anything negative about this place and I know we will be going back.

Beautiful home, not a rental feeling at all!

We truly enjoyed our stay at your home. The pictures truly do not give justice to how beautiful this home is. It is so nice to come in to a space that is equipped properly to allow you to enjoy yourself. Many houses I have leased do not even have the basics, let alone the extras. The kitchen is fully equipped and so is the house. We really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this property! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by our incredibly friendly host who made us feel right at home. Right on the River

We rented this property because it was close to Rainbow River which is where the group of us were going tubing. We went tubing and instead of spending day out we came back to the house and enjoyed kayaking , paddle boating and the beautiful deck at the house. House is very clean, relaxing, and quiet. There were 6 adults and plenty of room. Owners are very easy to get a hold of, very friendly to talk to. We all agreed we will rent thus property again.

Beautiful short vacay for graduate

This property is fantastic. Everyone in our group loved it! The location is marvelous. Quiet and serene. The amenities more than expected. It is fully stocked with everything you can need but your food. The house is very clean. 3 bathrooms worked out great for us. Lisa is a friendly, helpful hostess. We enjoyed the kayaks, fishing from the dock and hiking in the woods. Many activities close by. we enjoyed tubing and the gym allowed the young men in our group to have a free guest pass for a workout. There are numerous restaurants within a short distance. Hopefully we will have another opportunity to enjoy this slice of serenity.

Tranquil and Beautiful vacation - great fishing

This wonderful retreat sits on one of the most beautiful fresh water settings I've ever seen, and while you feel secluded, the house is just around the corner from downtown. The cypress trees, oaks, palms, the water lilies, along with all the wildlife - wild ducks, hummingbirds, titmouses, cardinals - just can't describe how pretty it is. The house is very comfortable, with a huge screened in porch overlooking the river, and the owner could not have been nicer or more accomodating. He personally met us at the house, gave a tour of the property, and made us feel right at home. We definetely are looking forward to another visit. If you want peace and quiet, idyllic natural beauty, great freshwater fishing, and still be close to area attractions, this place is for you. Thanks, Harold!

Relax on our huge deck on the river to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Fish from our dock to catch big mouth bass. We have 3 single & 2 tandem kayaks for you to explore all the nature that surrounds us. Our home is nestled in amongst 52 acres of woods yet the grocery, local restaurants, Rainbow Springs State Park, Juliette Falls Golf, and antique shops are all less than 10 minutes away. Once you arrive at our home you would never know that civilization is close by. This is the perfect escape from our busy lives in the city.

The home is spacious and comfortable. Our favorite spot is our huge screened-in porch overlooking the Withlacoochee River as we play at our pool table. The deck creates a covered boat slip. Enjoy making smores with your family and friends at our fire pit area.
