Winterbrook is a 5,000 sq ft, renovated (2023), family home with room for everyone located in the Manchester Village district. Our home is set on one of the largest in-town lots in Historic Manchester Village--a short walk to the Equinox pond (.5 mi.) and a delightful, tree-lined stroll on the marble sidewalks to the Equinox Hotel.
While this in-town location can't be beat, the privacy and amenities of the property will wow you. Our home has been selected as the backdrop for the Orivs Dog Catalogue, Spring, 2024 and was recently as used as the setting for 2025 The Vermont Country Store Catalogue. The property offers sweeping meadow views, large continually blooming summer gardens and lawn areas, fire pit, a babbling brook (seasonal) and views of Equinox mountain. The home has many access points to the beautiful grounds. A newly constructed patio, designed and built using marble and bluestone slabs sourced from the local quarries, is accessed from the kitchen and the dining room and is a wonderful area to sit and gaze at the meadow and towering birch tree views or to enjoy a family meal. The patio is outfitted with seating for ten, with 2, 50-inch round tables. There is also a Solo stove/fire pit on the patio for those who don't want to venture to the firepit out in the meadow. A small kids' cottage in the back yard is a fun discovery--with porch and twin beds for summer sleeping.
Inside:
Our home offers spacious rooms with lots of natural light. The upstairs offers 3 en suite bedrooms. 2 of these rooms have 2 full-sized beds. These bedrooms are great for couples or for kids who are smaller and can share a full-sized bed. The 3rd en-suite bedroom upstairs has fun built-in beds with trundles and 2, antique cannon ball twin beds. The Master bedroom is on 1st floor and has a spacious en suite bath. The master has a separate sitting area and 2 closets. Master bedroom windows look out at back lawn, large birch trees and large flower garden. The master bed itself is an heirloom, tiger maple king bed.
All of our linens are high quality and we provide down comforters/duvets for all of the beds in the home as well as ample amount of pillows!
Large, gorgeous eat-in kitchen with a very large island with sink, dishwasher, refrigerator drawers, 2nd oven and drawer microwave. The island seats 2 and the kitchen table seats 6. A beautiful gas fireplace is the focal point of the room. The kitchen was designed with a large family or group in mind and has excellent circulation and accessibility for many to be in it at once. There are 2 family rooms on the 1st floor. The 1st is a library-style w/ wet bar and wood burning fireplace. This room has a puzzle table and seats 6-7 comfortably.
