The Space:
Enjoy the serenity of this beautifully renovated and well-appointed 750 sq. ft. property, it was designed to reflect a coastal theme with shiplap walls, décor and furniture, curated to offer the most relaxing and enjoyable experience.

The Coastal Cottage offers lots of room to relax, and features lots of white space to allow your eyes and mind to rest and recoup as you enjoy your time there, as well as all the amenities you'll need to make your stay homey and memorable.

The Coastal Cottage is the first of three cottages located on the same lot, the other two are called The Coastal Cabana and The Coastal Shanty, all three are short term rentals, situated in a prime location in Panama City Beach.

The Cottages are in a nice quiet neighborhood called Sunnyside, just far enough away form the busy areas so as not to hear traffic or loud beach goers.

The Cottage has two free parking spots.

Each unit has beach chairs inside the property, plus there is a garden shed situated at the rear of the property, inside are a few items for your use, there is a small portable charcoal BBQ, buckets and spades and boogie boards.

The Cottage has a Smart Television and can be used to stream any streaming service you may have an account with, eg, Roku, Netflix, Disney, Hulu, etc., and there is an antenna installed too so guests can watch local channels as well.

There is an area to work remotely if need, internet is provided.

The beach has a gated entrance just a few hundred yards down the street, as you enter you first walk along a sandy path through some sand dunes and then you're on the beach.

This property is pet friendly, there is a pet fee, so please message us and tell us more about your pet or pets.

There is a maximum of two Dogs up to 80lbs each. A request for the pet fee will be sent separately the day of your arrival, this fee will not be included in your original price when you first book. Sorry, no cats allowed.

There are many beaches close by that are pet friendly, but the local private beach at the bottom of the street is not. The property does not have a fenced in yard, or much of a grassy area.

Available discounts: 5% off weekly bookings, and 10% off monthly or longer bookings, applied at checkout.

All three Coastal Cottages are professionally managed by Stay Short Term Vacation Rentals

Guest Access:
For access to the apartment your Check In information will be sent to you in the App the day before you are due to arrive.

The Neighborhood:
The area around the cottage is nice and quiet, it is a residential neighborhood.

The Sunnyside Community asks that you keep the beach gate closed to at all times.

The local beach to the Sunnyside Community is NOT Pet Friendly.

Parking on the streets in the neighborhood is illegal.

Getting Around:
Walking mostly.

There is a bus stop one mile from the property on Beach Front Road.

Uber and Lyft are available.

Other Things to Note:
This unit does not have a Port-a-Crib

No Smoking allowed on the premise.

There is a famous boardwalk called Pier Park that is located about 12 miles East of the Cottage.

The owners reserve the right to have security cameras installed on the exterior walls of some of the homes pointing away to watch properties.

Interaction with Guests:
We will not be interacting with guests unless there is an emergency. We do have boots on the ground in the neighborhood for emergency needs only.

Irresolution of Issues & Inaccurate Property Description

1. Cleanliness of Property - I contacted the owner on the trash left in the house and floors that left our feet filthy. I sent pictures via text. Their response was "Thank you." They did not resolve this issue. I took out the trash from the drawers in the primary bathroom and kitchen. 2. Missing Items - There were no beach chairs, there was no no beach mat, only one kitchen towel not two, and one paper towel roll not two. 3. Inoperable Dryer - I contacted the owner regarding this issue and sent pictures. The dryer was taken apart and screws were left on the top of the dryer. When told about this situation, they simply said the dryer was "supposed to" be fixed. We were unable to do laundry despite the listing saying there was a washer and dryer in the unit. This resulted in us not having clean clothes or towels during our stay and return home. 4. Clean Towels - Since the dryer was broken we had no clean replacement towels. When asked if more clean towels could be provided they responded, "We don't have more towels, I'm sorry." 5. Trash - The trash cans were overfilling and trash was going into the street. 6. Door Code Upon Entry - This is the only issue the owner resolved following two phone calls. 7. Communication at Check Out - I asked a question regarding starting the laundry since the dryer was not fixed. They never replied. I communicated all these issues during and following our stay at this property. When asked for a partial refund it was denied.

Great Beach Location

We enjoyed the house and the location is great. The kids played foosball and table tennis while we unpacked and got settled in. The house is located in a quiet community just steps from the beach but also not too far from activities, restaurants, and stores. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything needed to make homemade guacamole to enjoy on the covered screened patio after a day at the beach.

Perfect getaway and a short walk to the beach!

Loved this location and we had plenty of space for family plus our pups! We loved being so close to the beach and the neighborhood was quiet! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

We liked the house and if we come back to Panama City Beach, we will likely consider staying with you again. Other than the hard couch in the living room and the lack of hot water, everything went well. From experience as a rental property owner myself, one of the heating elements in the hot water heater may be bad.

Quaint Coastal Get Away

Its a lovely home on a quiet dead end street. Feels much larger once you enter. Had everything we needed during our short stay. Beautifully decorated & clean. Information that would be helpful; the parking is very limited & is on the front lawn. We had a mid size & a truck, it took up the whole space. Also, No Beach Entry at the end of the lane. We never really found the entry, we drove down to another area to access the beach. Would recommend renting & would possibly rent again.
