Great resort- uncomfortable beds

Very nice condo at great resort however beds were extremely uncomfortable. Otherwise I would recommend to everyone.

HEALTH HAZARD - mold everywhere

This review is not of the property or how outdated the unit was. THIS UNIT IS A HEALTH HAZARD. Upon entering the unit, the overwhelming musty moldy smell hits you and gets embedded in everything you bring; clothes, shoes, suitcases, etc. The bellman even noticed and scrunched his face upon entering with our bags. Our headache started almost immediately and lasted all 4 days we were there. Since it was over 100 degrees outside, opening the doors and windows wasn't an option. We tried to stay out of the unit as much as we could but it was the only place we could escape the heat. This unit should NOT be rented to anyone else. We contacted Vacasa a day into our stay seeing if they could do anything to help us and all we got was "thanks for the feedback". I'd be happy to discuss our stay if anyone would like to reach out to us. I have pictures of the mold. Since this is an "owner" unit, managed by Vacasa, being moved to another room in the hotel wasn't an option so we were stuck.

Horrible check in

I booked and paid for this place months in advance but when we’re trying to check in the front desk tells me that I DO NOT have a reservation, long story short the owner of this apartment never told the resort about me booking so after lots of stress and several phone calls I finally got the owner to send the email and information that the resort needed from them. I had also ask if I could check in early and late on my last day and of course pay for and I was told no because it was booked, the resort people I guess felt bad for what they did to me and I was able to get in 3 hours early and the day we left we were just hanging out in the pool because we had a late flight back home, my son had left his hat in the room so he went back in the room 4 hours later and yes still able to get in and still no one cleaning it, so don’t bother to ask for favors to them even if you do have the money to pay for them because they will lie to you. My main complaint is about my stress checking in

it seems like this should be 3 different ratings: 1) the condo itself was great - the good: the patio was wonderful and had one of the best views in the place. we had lots of room to spread out. bathrooms were nice and remodeled and the place was very clean. the cons: the kitchen could definitely use a remodel. the in room safe was not working and had a low battery causing it to beep intermittently. we discovered that stuffing pillows all around it muffled the sound, but it was really annoying the first night. 2) the resort - 5 stars for sure. since we were not renting through the hotel, we were not part of the all inclusive, but could still use the pools, restaurants and facilities. I don't usually rave about staff, but they were awesome. the waitstaff was friendly and made us feel very welcome. There were constantly people cleaning and making the place look great. pools were a perfect temperature. Long story, but due to the safe not working, we had stuffed a wallet in a strange place to hide it and it got caught up in the laundry. the staff turned the resort upside down until they found it!!! We went in May and there were always poolside chairs to be found and it was not crowded. unfortunately, while we were there the ocean was closed for swimming for reasons we never really figured out, but the beach was beautiful to walk and the pools were huge. 3) the management company: using the vrbo messaging with the company did not go very well. I would message and sometimes get a response quickly, sometimes not at all. I messaged about the safe and never heard back. However there was some confusion about whether we would be charged an activity fee and after several messages to them, someone finally emailed me directly. Once I had their email, the communication was great and I got responses very quickly. If you stay through vacasa, get their direct email for questions/issues and don't use the vrbo messaging system!
