Schönes zweistöckiges, charmantes Steinhaus mit 2 Schlafzimmern. Dieses schöne Haus verfügt über original breite Dielenparkettböden sowie Holzbalkendecken im vorderen Teil des zweistöckigen Hauses.

Essen Sie in der Küche mit Granit-Arbeitsplatten und Küchengeräten aus Edelstahl. Das Haus befindet sich auf einem wunderschön angelegten Grundstück mit einer großen Außenterrasse und einer Terrasse.

Das Hotel liegt in West Grove, Pennsylvania (im Herzen des Brandywine Valley Wine Trail). 1 Stunde von Lancaster, PA und Wilmington, De. 1 Stunde von Philadelphia, PA und Baltimore, MD. 3 Stunden von New York, NY und Washington, DC.

Absolutely Lovely

Staying at The Cozy Cottage (or, as my wife said in her review, Cozy Castle) really made our holiday great.It is so comfortable, well-appointed and interesting!A bonus for us is that it was centrally located between a bunch of family members.

Lovely historic home.

It was so nice to stay in this beautifully renovated stone house on a country road in a lovely area. We were close to the Kennett Square area but away from the bustle. The location was ideal for our visits to the Brandywine Museum and Longwood Gardens. The host, Arthur, was courteous and responsive. The house was charming, the furniture was comfortable, the central air conditioning worked well for those hot days and nights. It was a little like stepping back in time, but with modern comforts! We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends.

Resting place

We were in town for a birthday party. Going into the house was like entering a cool oasis from the melting heat!! As our stay was ending, there was a family emergency, So having spent time in such peaceful surroundings ended up being a respite in preparation for a chaotic time. Thank you for such a lovely place to stay.

Great place for small family

We stayed here so we were close to Philly for my son’s graduation and Newark for my daughter’s. It was a great location.. so peaceful minus the lawn care occurring first thing Friday morning! All amenities needed except bath soap! Not an issue, I just forgot to bring some!! Beautiful view sitting on the back deck in the evening and grilling for a quick dinner! If needed, we would stay here again and will recommend for UD parents!

It's a Winner

The property was very clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and within 30 minutes to Wilmington, Kennett Square and Chadds Ford. We enjoyed seeing the neighbors horses from a distance. The two car garage was an added bonus for securing vehicles and making a dry exit in case of inclement weather. All mattresses were very comfortable and both bathrooms (although no pictures in the listing) were very nice. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again if visiting Nemours, Winterthur or Longwood Gardens. The ACME was a quick 5 minute drive for groceries. Sheets and towels were provided (even though we prefer to bring our own) and were nice. In my opinion, this was much nicer than staying at a B&B or hotel. It felt like a home away from home for us. Thumbs up!!!

Home for the Holidays in West Grove!

This was our 2nd time staying here (my daughter's apartment is within walking distance). The home was as wonderful as I remembered! It was clean and nicely furnished. There were lights in the windows welcoming us when we arrived on the cold winter evening. There were small decorative touches to help us celebrate Christmas. We added our own decorations to make it seem more like "home for the holidays". The kitchen had just about everything we needed to make delicious holiday meals. The master bedroom bed was sooo comfortable. After a little maneuvering, we were able to make the den/bedroom on the first floor also comfortable. I also appreciated the washing machine and dryer in the basement as the airlines delayed the arrival of our suitcase for several days! The Longwood Christmas light show was spectacular, but the real highlight of our stay was having my family together again after four years. The family room and kitchen were central gathering places for us to share stories, laughter, and love. Thank you so much!

Country living

The property was well taken care of and had a lovely deck for sitting in the back yard. We enjoyed seeing some horses on the neighbors property.The kitchen was well stocked. The staircase to the upstairs bedrooms was very steep and the hallway landing was narrow. A step stool was provided for use to get onto the raised colonial bed. The beds were comfortable and extra blankets were available. The house is located on a road across from a mushroom farm.

Coming Home to Chester County

This is my fifth time renting this property. For me, it embodies so much of what I love about Chester County - an historic farmhouse, a lovely country road, a deck overlooking an extensive backyard. It’s lovely, well stocked and a short drive to so many attractions. Additionally, I appreciate having a washer and a dryer. This will certainly not be the last time I stay at the farmhouse!

Relaxing and peaceful

Great property. Easy access to all things country PA. Near Kennett Square All great. I would suggest turning the down stairs room into a bedroom. The sleeper is not comfortable. Great room with a full bath. I would stay here again. The back deck is a great extra. Big yard with horses in the back

Idyllic country stone cottage

This is a beautiful old stone house with modern amenities. The kitchen was amply stocked, the beds and baths were good, and the large deck was lovely.. Everything was immaculate and beautiful. We had beautiful weather and only wish we could have stayed longer.

Family reunion

We rented this property to be close to family for a birthday party in Kennett Square. It was a perfect size patio to have family come over after with plenty of seating and beautiful backyard. There was a gas grill so we could cook. A bathroom downstairs made it perfect for guests. The location was close enough for family to visit. Besides family time we enjoyed Longwood Gardens despite the rainy weather.
