This 3-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom duplex sleeps 8 with one king bed, one queen bed, and two twin-over-twin bunk beds. It features two private decks, a private hot tub on the back deck with incredible alpine views, an in-unit washer and dryer, attached one-car garage and a spacious open concept living room, dining area and kitchen. There are brand new wooden floors throughout the home and new kitchen countertops. The owner has provided a dart board and various board games for your enjoyment. This vacation rental is centrally located in Silverthorne, meaning you have easy access to nearby ski areas like Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, and Vail. Plus, there is a Summit Stage bus stop just steps from your front door making for a free and convenient way to get around all of Summit County if you would prefer not to drive!

Enter the property via the entrance attached to the front deck. This private deck offers outdoor seating and beautiful panoramic views. The entryway offers hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area is on the main level. It features a flat screen TV mounted above a gas fireplace, ample seating, and breathtaking mountain views plus great natural light from the large picture windows. The other private deck access is just off of this area and features a private hot tub, gas grill, outdoor seating and additional incredible views in the other direction.

The updated full-sized kitchen is stocked with all of the cookware and tableware needed to make a meal away from home and features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The dining area comfortably seats six across a dining table and a smaller expandable table. There is a half guest bathroom adjacent to this area as well. All bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The two guest bedrooms are located on the basement level. The first guest bedroom features a king-sized bed and a gas fireplace. The second guest bedroom features two twin-over-twin bunk beds and a closet. Additionally, there is another guest bathroom; which has an oversized soaking tub and a pedestal sink.

Upstairs on the loft level is the primary bedroom. The primary bedroom offers a queen sized bed, flat screen TV, gas fireplace, ceiling fan, two large closets and an en suite bathroom. The primary bathroom offers a single sink vanity, walk-in shower and updated finishes.

**Ultra-premium Linens and Ivory White Bedding** This property has been upgraded with ultra-premium linens and ivory white bedding. Our ultra-premium linens rival those of The Four Seasons featuring extra soft, oversized towels and high quality bed linens that have a subtle satin stripe pattern for a look of elegance. The ivory white bedding showcases a soft, white-striped duvet cover with a medium thick, high quality down alternative duvet. Featuring an uncompromising and industry leading standard of cleanliness, the duvet covers are laundered after each and every guest stay.

Please note that we have a minimum age requirement. To reserve this vacation rental, the paying guest must be 26 years of age or older. Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 1st day we arrived, driveway was not shoveled and had to shovel snow for a couple hours just to be able to get 3 cars to barely fit in the driveway. Not ideal after traveling all day. Then learned the sink downstairs next to 2 bedrooms continuously ran and kept us up at night. Asked if somebody could come by and fix it but he said a part needed ordered. So had to listen to that all weekend. He told us the hottub was broken 2 days prior to our stay. The hottub was one of the main reasons why we chose this location. He did get it repaired but was only able to use it on our last night there. Besides those hiccups, he was very responsive and house is close to resorts.

The property was in a good location, able to hold seven people, father and sons for a skiing tripHowever, there was a leak in the ceiling. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place looks amazing in the photos, but the finishes are not as nice as they appear. Little items like a broken couch foot stool, super small shower downstairs that leaks from gaps, super small bars of soap, bits of weed smell (assuming from neighbor) in the basement bathroom and garage. Unable to park in the garage. Downstairs fireplace needed to be fixed. Just missing those tiny details that really set other units apart. The company was pretty responsive... just a bit disappointing after reviewing the photos. There were no reviews available on AirBnB.

ok, could have been better!

We stayed in this vrbo for a ski trip, the house location is perfect for some of the ski resorts, but there are some details and things in the house that need attention, which I guess the owner/manager is not taking care of them. There are furnitures partially broken, doors and windows not properly working, etc. here and there that could be easily fixed and provide a much better experience! Oh, and also trashes taken before guests arriving at the property!

Terrible place, property manager horrible to work with!

Dog hair all over bathroom rug, floor and our clothes. We Paid A LOT in Host fees and A LOT (can’t use the dollar amounts or this post can’t happen, I guess) in service fees…for a dirty place?! The fireplace had no instructions on how to turn on. A tenant should not have to open the front vent/grate and flip the switch on an unattached control box laying loose in the bottom of the inside of the fireplace. There should be a switch on the wall, or the remote control that the fireplace is supposed to be operated with. On top of that, management should be able to instruct how to operate the fireplace at the time the call is placed, not the next day when maintenance can come over and figure it out. The tenant already lost one of the four nights use. That’s 25% loss of use for an amenity. According to the agreement signed! Washer and dryer didn’t work, new dryer in a box in the garage. Called property management. They said OWNERS knew it’s not working, they said “sorry, thought it would be fixed before your stay”. But no communication telling us, only found out when tried to wash our only set of dirty towels from first nite. So, soaking wet towels and washer won’t finish washing. Called for replacement towels but was told the towels Can’t be delivered until next day. Really…we came to ski, and now NO towels for shower or the hot tub. We had to drive from our place in Silverthorne to Keystone, wait 10 minutes, to pick up clean towels. Plus NO dryer to dry very wet ski gear from snowboarding all day. Took all day to talk back and forth to property management, exchanging several messages each. Loss of vacation time with family! They would not provide me with owners contact. Offered us what they later determined to be a 5% compensation and a drying rack. My argument is they should be offering us 10, 15, or 20% depending on the level of severity per day of loss according to their contract. They blame the owners and yet still would not give me the contact to talk to the owners. We will never rent from Summit County Mountain Retreats or Karen Fuller again! We come to Summit County at least twice a year.

Cozy Home in Great Location

We enjoyed our stay and especially enjoyed the private hot tub. Having bedrooms downstairs and upstairs was convenient for us traveling as couples so we could have our own spaces with a shared living area and kitchen on the main floor.

The property was clean and everyone loved the bedding and mattresses. It was a good place for 3 kids aged 9-14. Room to spread out but also spaces to gather together. Hot tub was one of the main reasons we chose this place, and it did not disappoint. It was warm and functioning well. The kitchen was stocked with cooking gear, but we struggled a little to find some things (e.g. skillet or griddle for pancakes / eggs) but we managed. It is just a little hard to plan when you don't know exactly what is there.All in all it was an excellent spot to crash after two days of skiing. Easy access and would definitely choose this spot again.

VACATION RENTALS VS. HOTELS
Booking a vacation rental is like staying at the house of a friend. In this vacation rental you will experience significantly more space, privacy, or comforts that feel like home, including a kitchen and a location that is beyond what most hotels can offer. All this at a significantly lower cost than a hotel with comparable features. These benefits bring different considerations than a hotel. More privacy means that most guests do not want daily housekeeping. We offer a check-out clean and, for an added fee, mid-stay cleans. We also offer a starter supply of some consumables, including coffee, paper towels, toilet paper and more, but these items are not restocked during a stay. A kitchen allows you to make home-cooked meals. Guests will likely visit the store to purchase groceries. Self-sufficiency is key to a happy stay in a vacation rental. We do provide housekeeping and 24/7 maintenance, but this is primarily for properties in between stays. Our staff services vacation rentals across several square miles, unlike a hotel that manages a single building. We have to strike a balance between cost and service, and have found that our current system has struck this balance. Our hope is that our guests understand the difference between booking a hotel and a vacation rental. Together we can provide affordable vacation rentals and happy stays for everyone!
