Waterfront Cabins on Lake Travis - Bring your boat to our Deep Cove

Incredible private lake front property!! Picture perfect sunset views. This property is located in a large, quiet cove on Lake Travis. It has a private dock with picnic tables for guest use! Bring your boat or jet ski and park it over night! There is a public boat ramp (Mansfield Dam - cash or check only) 10 minutes from the house and several boat rental businesses nearby to take advantage of a true lake vacation!

FREE USE OF KAYAKS DURING YOUR STAY!

Inside the cozy cabin is the master bedroom: it is light and airy and has a queen size bed. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room for additional sleeping space. The main home has a fully equipped kitchen and large bathroom with double sinks and a large shower. The washer/dryer is also available for your use. The main house sleeps 4.

For additional sleeping space, this property has 2 unique bunk houses. The larger of the 2 has a kitchenette and 2 futons that open into twin beds.

The second bunk house is the perfect place for tweens & teens to hang out in the loft area or on the twin futon and stream their favorite shows. Both bunk houses have A/C to give guests a quiet, cool sleeping space (no heat).

Enjoy a little piece of lake front living while having the conveniences of grocery stores, fabulous restaurants, and live music 10 to 15 minutes away. If downtown Austin is on your list it's just a 35 minute drive through the hills of our beautiful city. This property is pet friendly so (at your own risk) bring your pups & let them run around in the fenced backyard. Please check local warnings for possible toxic algae prior to letting dogs near the water).

There is a $100 pet fee, Max 4, per stay.

Note: only the backyard has completely secured fencing.

Great small house with perfect location

My family has visited Lake Travis several times in past few years and location wise, this has been one of our favorite. With low water levels, the dock was still in about 8 feet of water. House was quaint but great for a small family. Bunkhouses were homey and nicer than expected. Fenced backyard with grass was perfect for the pup. Host was very communicative and responsive.

Me, my husband, and two dogs stayed here for 3 days for my birthday. It was a cute little house and was stocked with most essentials you would need. The fenced backyard was perfect for the pups which is the main reason we selected this house. We were very glad for the first aid kit that was provided since my husband and one of our dogs stepped on a poisonous caterpillar (unfortunately those critters are normal, just be careful!). There wasn’t safe access to actually get into the lake where we were, maybe if we didn’t have the dogs but it would have been too tricky to get in and out and no one get hurt so that was unfortunate. The other issue we had was how hot the house was, especially at night. There is not central AC in this house, just an AC unit in the bedroom and kitchen, nothing in the main living/dining room except ceiling fans and standalone fans (the ac unit in the photos does not work). We had to turn on both AC units, have all ceiling fans on and used standalone fans in the door ways of the kitchen and bedroom to attempt circulation but it was still so hot at night to the point we hardly slept. The last thing that wasn’t the best is that there are no blinds/curtains on any of the windows except in the bedroom. So at night moving about the house was a little creepy, even though they had outside lights, it’s still uncomfortable at night because you feel so exposed. Overall it was just an okay stay for us. It might be a good location in the winter since they have a nice fireplace and fire pit outside.

Lakeside at it’s Best!

Perfect place to get away and relax. Park your boat for easy daily access. Furnished with anything you would need for the entire family including your dog! Highly recommend.

Quiet lake view property

Overall we had enjoyed our stay visiting with family. There is a grill on the property to enjoy cookouts. There is also a fire pit in the backyard to roast marshmallows and make s’mores! Yum! A dock that you can fish or a boat slip if you have a boat. The cabin is nicely furnished with some cookware and dishes. We brought our 2 small dogs and I loved the fact the backyard is fenced in. I would recommend only a small group (party of 4 or less) to stay here since it is a 1 bedroom with a fold out couch and 1 bathroom. There are extra cabins available on the property for an extra fee. So if you looking for a cabin with country charm and being away from noise from the city this is for you!

Terrapin Station is a unique lake front property located in a quiet cove in the deeper part of Lake Travis. There is a large dock with space to tie up your boat and/or jetski and picnic tables to enjoy a meal or all of your meals on the lake. Gorgeous sunsets every night of your stay will set the tone for a relaxing, quiet evening at this property. This property is perfect for anything from a romantic getaway for 2 or a family gathering with sleeping space for up to 10 guests.

Terrapin Station is located in a quiet area along the shores of Lake Travis. There is a marina nearby where guests can rent a boat or jetski for the day. If you bring your own boat the public boat ramp is a 10 minute drive. There is ample parking for your trailer at this property.

This property has many benefits! The large, covered dock, deep water access, covered back patio, fenced in yard and pet friendly feature are just a few of it's greatest assets. The kitchen is well stocked for all of your cooking needs. There are several large grocery stores within a 10 to 15 minute drive from the home, plenty of restaurants from fine dining to flip flops and cover ups, and convenience stores for the little things.

The main house has been fully remodeled. It is a beautiful cabin with all of the comforts of home. In addition to a well appointed kitchen this property also has an outdoor grill and fire pit. The large backyard is fully fenced so if your pup gets tired swimming he or she can rest comfortably in the shaded backyard. Definitely bring your water shoes...the short walk down to the water's edge is a bit rocky, as is the lake bed.
