Welcome to Santa Monica!

Our beautiful apartment is the perfect place to stay while visiting Los Angeles.

We are located in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of Santa Monica. So whether you want to drive to a delicious brunch or enjoy the beautiful weather in the morning at the nearest coffee shops, or even take a calming bike ride to Santa Monica Beach, our place is minutes away from your desired destination.

Locations that are just a short distance to our property are the Santa Monica Beach, Promenade, Venice Beach, St. John's Hospital, UCLA, Santa Monica College, and Metro train that takes you right to Crypto.Com stadium and LA LIVE. Located near dining and shopping.

Our goal is to make your stay wonderful and convenient. If you have any suggestions on what we can provide to make your stay better, please let us know.

We provide all kitchen utensils, dining ware, pots/pans, blender, toaster, etc. as well as toilet paper, clean towels and sheets, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, iron & board. Long-term guests have access to community laundry room.

Clean, updated, and good location but no AC
Overall we had a good stay and the unit was clean and up to date with all supplies needed in the kitchen. Even k cups and sugar were there for coffee. Right across the street is a little park which my son enjoyed. It was close to the highway and downtown Santa Monica so it was an easy drive anywhere we went. Parking on the street was not an issue as long as you read the signs and park on the opposite side at night. I had a question for the owner and they replied promptly. The couches were comfortable. The bed was comfortable but the frame was not sturdy so if you sleep with someone, every move makes a noise and moves the bed. It was unseasonably warm while we were there and there was no AC, which I believe should be made more apparent in the listing. The unit got up to over 90 degrees and we only had 2 portable fan units to keep us cool. I think it would have been unbearable for most people but we’re from Florida and regularly camp so we made do. Also the listing indicates that a sleeper sofa/futon was available but there was only an air mattress. As a result, my husband had to sleep on the couch the first night because my son had already gone to sleep on the bed by the time we figured that out and the couch was more comfortable than the air mattress for my husband. Overall it was a nice place for the price.

Apt was uninhabitable and unsafe upon arrival and under-maintained
After long flight, we arrived on hot day; apt. had no AC, which I get. But screens were missing in several windows, others were torn, and others wouldn't close so gaps remained. Screen door was partially off its frame. Place had numerous flies. Also, a pot was under the sink to collect water drips. We could not sleep there with windows open, and screen door opened-which would be needed to survive the heat. We did not feel safe. Host offered to fix; but honestly could not wait for them to repair extensive issues; just wanted comfortable place for vacation. I have pictures and will share with VRBO if people stop hanging up on me when I call. Had to go last minute to hotel. A nd struggling like like anything to get a refund.

As a mom traveling with 2 little kids, I felt very safe in the unit & neighborhood. It was a safe & quiet neighborhood. There is a small park directly across the street. Owner let us go in 2 hours early, which was appreciated. It’s a quick drive to The beach. I’d definitely stay there again. The outside is nothing to write home about but the inside is fresh & new.

Absolutely Terrible
Terrible experience here. We showed up and found out the property has no air conditioning which was not stated at all anywhere in the description. It was so hot here that we decided to just leave after one hour and go get a hotel for our trip. The property owner said oh I guess I should have said there was no a/c but there’s nothing I can do. He then told me I should have asked if it had air conditioning before I booked it. We are from Texas where it gets hot so we don’t have buildings without air conditioning and assumed California was the same way. It was hotter inside here with the windows open and fans on than it was outside and it was not comfortable. There are no ceiling fans only portable ones. Also it is nice inside but in a ghetto neighborhood. I didn’t feel great about it as we were walking up and am glad we decided to stay somewhere more safe. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

Nice stay on a quiet street
At first I was a little disappointed that the apt wasn't located closer to the beach and commercial areas, but by the end of our stay we were happy we were removed from the noisier, more congested areas. The apartment was clean and exactly as shown in the photographs. It was just the right size for two, but would have been tight for three. Check in and check out were a breeze and the neighbors were very nice. We didn't have any issues and the owners were very responsive to our few questions. The apartment is convenient from a driving perspective; there was plenty of parking and we could get anywhere we were going (UCLA, Belair, Westwood) in less than 30 minutes. It was a short drive (but long walk) to Santa Monica Pier and beach. We discovered a very nice restaurant and some interesting galleries just a 10-min walk way. Overall, a very good experience. We live only a few miles from a major interstate, so we're used to constant background traffic sounds (almost sounds like rushing water) but if you're not, you may find this location a little noisy

Great location
This is a nicely renovated in a good neighborhood with a convenient location. We had a few hiccups upon arrival though. Parking was described by the host as plentiful street parking. But that’s only on the opposite side of the street and wasn’t made clear on the arrival instructions. We parked at first on the same side of the street until we noticed the signs said 2-hour parking only. When we tried to reach the host for clarification we were told we had the wrong number (after asking for her by name!). When said I was calling about a VRBO rental the person who answers the phone then acknowledged he was co-owner of the property but didn’t know the parking specifics. I asked that Diana call me but she didn’t. He called back instead after presumably talking to her and explained where to park. Not a warm and fuzzy way to arrive - told you have the wrong phone number, and unable to speak with the host directly. Once we got checked in, our stay was very pleasant. It was a perfect location for us, and the neighborhood was quiet. One thing not mentioned in the listing is the unit isn’t air-conditioned. Fans are provided. It was unseasonably warm while we were there so it wasn’t ideal, but we managed. All in all a nice stay, but communication could have been better.

When looking for a place to stay, I ran across this cute apartment. It had all the pictures of the inside which looked lovely. When arriving, the apartment complex wasn't what I expected. Everything inside the apartment was perfect. Diane went out of her way to make us feel welcome and met all our needs with my 10-month-old grandbaby. I truly appreciate her hospitality and would recommend this to any couple who wants to stay for a few days in California.

Great Location
Great Location, I know the area because I grew up nearby. Very accessible to the major freeways, Santa Monica , UCLA, Getty Museum, Culver City and so on.... Older building with a remodeled interior. Worked for us - we would definitely consider staying there again. Very responsive host. The internet was slow, this was a bit frustrating.

Good stay in Santa Monica area!
I had a great stay at this apartment for 4nights! The location was great and felt very safe. I really appreciated having a full kitchen (pots, pans, plates, cups, wine glasses, etc) and a comfy couch with a tv. Having parking permit was also another plus. The host is very organized, responsive, and friendly! The apartment itself served it’s purpose but some things to consider are: - the neighbors are pretty loud and yes, as other reviewers mentioned you can hear everything. But if you’re not home most of the time it’s not a bother - I was working from home and the internet connection wasn’t great, so I ended up using my hotspot for some time - The apartment could have been cleaner (dust in some places and some hair near the bathroom) But overall, I had a fine stay and the host was again, very responsive and kind. She even let us check in a few hours early which really helped us.

Perfect Apartment
We really enjoyed our stay in Santa Monica. The apartment was cozy but a perfect homebase for our family of 3. The location was easy to get around and there was a wonderful park across the street with a playground my daughter enjoyed. Parking was easy and always available. Check in and out were smooth, host was responsive and available if needed.

I liked the area and apartment was clean. I thought there was a sofabed, but their was an air mattress in the closet. The walls are a little thin, so you can hear the neighbors throughout the day. But other than that, everything worked for our needs.

Beautiful one-bedroom with a great host
We enjoyed our 8-night stay at Diana's apartment. The unit is freshly decorated and was in pristine condition. The bed and sofas were really comfortable. Diana has thoughtfully provided everything you need for a great stay. Although we didn't use the kitchen, it seemed to be very well-equipped with new and immaculate refrigerator and stove. We appreciated that the unit was light-filled and that more than adequate lighting was provided for when the sun goes down . Parking was readily available. Potential guests should be aware that this 2nd-floor unit is accessed by an exterior staircase. Diana was extremely responsive when we had a few questions during our stay and we felt that she was doing everything she could to provide us with a 5-star stay.

Weekend In LA
The space was lovely and just what we needed for our weekend stay in LA. We had some issues re-accessing the key lock box after checking in. But Diana was quick to respond and had the on-site manager run up the extra unit key for us. The location of the unit is great, in a quiet neighborhood close to transit and one of our favorite breakfast/coffee shops (Blueys). I would recommend this place place to anyone looking for a nice, affordable stay in LA!
