Property, Listing, and Communication Need Help
I booked this property for me and some friends for a golf weekend and would not recommend it. The first gripe I have has to do with the listing details. This property is managed by Vacasa and they tell you that you need to go by the rental office to pick up parking passes to get through the security gate. I've never been to Kiva Dunes so I wasn't sure where the rental office was nor did it tell me in the emails that were sent to me. Vacasa couldn't tell me because all the information they had was what was on the listing. I had to call Kiva Dunes myself to figure out what to do.
Now to the property issues. The house is in need of some deep cleaning and repairs. When we arrived the handle for the freezer was sitting on the counter because it must have been broken off previously. There was a towel hook ripped off the wall in one of the bathrooms, mold was growing all around the vents in the bathrooms and bedrooms, and there were a couple of other cosmetic items that were damaged that I had to take pictures of and let Vacasa know so that they didn't think it was us that did it.
The location of the property is fine, but it is towards the back so you have to spend some extra time going slow through the development to get in and out.
We had a great weekend of golf and hanging out, but the property layout isn't the best because of having the common area on the top floor and either having to walk up all the stairs or take the slow elevator if someone remembers to close the door.
